Very good bakery and always something fresh with your coffee

Good for a coffee and cake. The ambience has been decorated in the same style for years, not so appealing. Desserts and baked goods are top. Special requests are also accepted and beautifully prepared.

Previously I only knew Mathys as a bakery. Went there for a quick lunch this time. Nice atmosphere and the price-performance ratio is absolutely OK. I also took some broken chocolate and a yeast nut croissant with me. Both were really very good.

Good products, but the service leaves a lot to be desired...

I always buy this incredibly fine tomato/mozzarella sandwich at Volg Teufenthal. So nice. I saw it came from Beck Mathys. When I'm nearby I'll pay you a visit for even more goodies😉

Was at the counter today to buy cake. The lady must have had a bad day. So unfriendly. There were no other customers there, so no reason at all!!! Greetings service tester

So you couldn't eat the king cakes this year. Dry and flat and a friezy taste. Hagelzucker had run its course. What wasn't baked properly was completely light.

Lots of parking spaces and very nice cakes! Drive an extra hour to get cakes! My favorite cake is the Ami cake with L biscuit 55.- with decoration very good prices!

So now I just have to write it here because the bakery itself doesn't follow up on this. Unfortunately, not offering lactose-free milk and oat milk these days is a big drawback. I've come to brunch about five times now because unfortunately acquaintances wanted to go there...every time I ask for oat milk and every time they say...no, we don't have that...it's a real shame... It wouldn't be such a big deal to get organized. The customer pays for it. Today my friend took tablets out of her bag, I went to her. "What are they". Don't drink a lattemachiato to you because it's sooooo difficult to offer it. It's a shame, otherwise it's a great bakery. It's a shame I have to look for another bakery and pastry shop.

The products are great, especially the Birchermüesli or the wood-fired bread, which is only available on Thursdays. The staff is very friendly. The bakery is always looking for new products. I can only recommend the Mathys cafe/bakery.

Mathys makes the finest vanilla croissants, amazing! Thank you! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for home-made Ice Café. Had enjoyed many Ice Cafés in different restaurants. Much too sweet and hardly any coffee aroma, what a shame! Unfortunately the service doesn't have much to do with friendliness, which is a shame. I also find it annoying that people are constantly smoking all around and at some point I had to put away the full ashtray on our table from the previous guests because the service staff didn't notice this.

Very great products. The packaging reminds me of a certain WhatsApp emoji 🫣 I don't know what kind of pastry it was supposed to represent 🤗

So far I haven't found anything that wasn't tasty! Even patients ask me if I could bring bread!

A cozy, beautiful and well-kept cafe. The food is very good, the service is always friendly and helpful, and the ambience is simply great.

Bread, baked goods, cakes etc. good but sometimes a bit more expensive than other bakeries. Saleswomen are more than just habitual, there is still a lot of room for improvement.

2 stars off because of the treatment of standard German speaking foreign customers who are treated as intruders. The bakery and café are otherwise great, but the way they deal with non-Swiss customers leaves much to be desired. That's why no one gets 1 cent on it, even less the waitress who behaves in the same way.

The BEST bakery in the region. Friendly staff and helpful. The coffee shop is a must-visit and invites you to linger. The many delicacies make it difficult to choose because everything tastes so delicious. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the bakery or about a 2-minute walk away. (Coop parking lot) A visit here is definitely worth it and I can only recommend it.

The service was satisfactory, but for such a price you should be able to ask for something. For example, forgetting the vanilla ice cream with the vermicelle and getting the wrong type of ice cream with the frappes is disappointing. There's nothing wrong with the taste, very satisfying.

I have been a regular at Café Mathys in Schöftland for 7 years. I really appreciate this cafe, the fine delicious products, the fine breads, delicious desserts. The lunch menus are very good. The possibility of half portions, special requests are fulfilled whenever possible. Nice salad buffet, soups in winter, everything was wonderful for the price. Friendly staff. Thank you very much for the good hospitality.

I'm here a lot. Had to wait a long time in the morning for a cafe. Wasn't seen. Unfortunately, not everyone is friendly. Not necessarily desired. ☹️🤔😔

A pity! Apparently, as a casual customer with a dog, you are not allowed to choose at the counter. The staff will definitely ask you to sit outside or use another entrance. Regular customers with dogs obviously and regularly turn a blind eye and tolerate the fact that they are allowed to order at the counter accompanied by their four-legged friend. This inequality is not justified. Really a shame.

The bread and confectionery are super tasty, the price is higher than usual, but you're happy to pay for good quality. Unfortunately the staff is not the friendliest. You don't really feel welcome and it doesn't seem to matter if you come back or not. Man has enough customers... what a shame 👎🤔

The service staff is very inattentive. Last time we waited half an hour and kept waving so we could pay. We finally got up and paid at the bar. Today I sat in the café for 30 minutes and wasn't served. It's a shame, I will avoid this café in the future and won't recommend it to others. 😭😭😭😭😭

Such unfriendly service. Bread goods are ok but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. The café...inedible! I've avoided this bakery since then and used it to advertise Café Schulz in Reinach (AG), super friendly, super tasty and a great ambience.

Best bakery in the region! Always fresh baked goods and confectionery. The café has a great atmosphere and invites you to linger! I can recommend Sunday brunch to everyone. However, you should reserve in advance. No matter whether young, old or as a family. There's something for everyone! Thank you very much and keep it up!

The best bakery and pastry shop in the region. I've known it for over 15 years and have never been disappointed here. You can also enjoy a coffee in the restaurant here on Sundays with cake or other delicacies.

The brunch was good, the service was extremely courteous and friendly, which clearly influenced my ☆☆ choice. However, I expected a little more for the price, unfortunately the selection was limited, except for the rolls. For my taste, eggs, bacon, hash browns, prosecco and flakes were missing. Otherwise the offering was fresh and fine.
