McDonald's in Winterthur

My experience at McDonald's was fairly average, earning it a three-star rating. The service was prompt, and the food was served relatively quickly. However, the overall quality of the food was what you would expect from a fast-food chain – nothing exceptional, but not terrible either. The atmosphere was typical of a McDonald's restaurant, with a bustling environment and standard amenities. While it's not my top choice for dining out, it's a convenient option for a quick meal on the go.

Closest McDonald's to the woods I'm hiding in while being hunted for sport. Delicious food and a patio arrangement similar to the one across town. I hope they don't notice the difference between the barriers though.

I have not received food several times where I ordered take-away. is very indecent because you don't control the food on site and then people at home are left without their citizens. Very weak service

I am contacting you to complain about an extremely unsatisfactory experience I had at your McDonald's restaurant today, March 6th. I visited your restaurant late in the evening and ordered, among other things, a McChicken Burger. When I returned home and opened my burger, I was shocked to find that there was bacon on my burger. This was extremely annoying for me because I specifically didn't order a burger with bacon and I don't eat pork. Due to this incorrect order, I drove all the way back to your restaurant to complain and get a proper resolution. When I approached one of your employees to raise my concerns, she showed little interest and simply handed me a new burger without apologizing or adequately addressing my complaint. I then requested to speak to management and although I saw that a manager in a black uniform heard my complaint, she hid and showed no willingness to address the issue. When I finally spoke to the manager and expressed my discomfort with the situation, I was treated with extreme rudeness and indifference. She denied all responsibility and refused to offer a reasonable solution to alleviate the anger caused. It was extremely disappointing that she wasn't even willing to offer a drink or chips as compensation. The way I was treated as a customer was absolutely unacceptable. It is obvious that your manager was unable to adequately handle my complaint and does not have the necessary customer service skills. Your rude and dismissive attitude not only upset me but also made me regret my visit to your restaurant and demand my money back. Not only did the experience cost me time and gas, it also spoiled my appetite and even caused me to miss a football game on TV that I was looking forward to. I am calling for a review of your customer service practices to ensure that other customers do not have similar negative experiences.

This unfriendly service didn't even put cheese on my cheeseburger - this hospitality is outrageous. But all the more spices!

As a regular customer of the McDonald's at Zürcherstrasse 50 in Winterthur, I am writing this review with a certain degree of disappointment. There are some pressing issues that need to be addressed. The cleanliness of the men's room is far from what you would expect, with an unpleasant smell that is difficult to ignore. This raises concerns about the restaurant's overall hygiene standards. The employees, although they seem to be good people, seem unmotivated. This is not the level of service we expect from a global brand like McDonald's. I think this is more of a management problem. In a country like Switzerland, known for its impeccable cleanliness and high-quality service, this situation is particularly disappointing. It is critical that the management of this McDonald's take responsibility and address these issues immediately. Improving cleanliness standards and increasing employee motivation should be at the forefront of your action plan. A clean environment is fundamental to a pleasant dining experience and a motivated team is the key to excellent service. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken into account and we see positive changes soon. Despite the current shortcomings, I believe in the potential of this McDonald's to meet the brand's high standards worldwide. Rating: 2/5 Update: The alcohol for the hands is no longer there and the employee said there was no more. That doesn't work. The toilet is a bit cleaner than before. Rating: 2/5

The CBO Burger used to be my favorite Burger and I thought it was a shame when it was no longer available. Today I was finally able to order a CBO again, but when I ate the burger I unfortunately realized that it wasn't as good as it used to be. Way too much meat and too expensive for 10.-.

Everything was McD as usual, we decided to take away, but then found out when we got home that the fries and the apple turnover were missing. Of course it was too late to go back and complain. Therefore, with ToGo, always check again upon receipt.

It's a shame that there is such a staff in a McDonald restaurant. Very very very unfriendly!!!

At short notice (and without registering!) we were able to celebrate/eat with our daughter and her friends in the birthday room. The children were so happy about it! Thank you very much for that 😊.

Ordered via drive today I miss the board with the offers! And too narrow for a big car. Everything was paid for quickly and then no salt on the ponmes, drinks without sparkling water so I can make flavored water at home and there was 1 napkin for two meals. Today wasn't the best. Luckily Citizen King isn't far away so we ordered dessert. Sorry

Tip Top :) When you deliver with Just Eat you often get fewer fries than if you eat them directly in a restaurant. When will wraps be available in your range again?

There is always something missing from EVERY order that I paid for. Sauces that are usually included in menus are charged extra. In addition, the receipt is not given and you cannot check the order. This especially occurs with drive-thru and home deliveries.

I went twice to the McDonald's toilets for men, always disgusting, staff not very smiling, service nothing more..

Was having lunch this morning. Cost over 14.- sFr. Went out in the car, made 2 phone calls and wrote an email and then drove away. As I drive away I see a man writing down the car numbers. Last time, when I was getting my food, an employee came up to me and asked if that was my car. It was parked correctly! I am a regular customer 1-2 times a week. Btw. The burgers were cold! You can expect a bit of tact. Will avoid this branch, McD in general.

In my ongoing selfless efforts to visit as many different McDonald's as possible, my family and I visited here while staying in Winterthur. I have to say it's up there amongst the best McDonald's I've been to. Good quality food and friendly service. Also a really good, well-maintained play area for the kids. Good stuff.

I ordered at an appointment and my note with my order didn't come out as usual, then I called a woman who cleaned the tables, who couldn't help me either, as she said. Then finally all my food was given to me anyway. The food was quite good, but the service was not.

McDonalds is always great, here in Winterthur my favourite meal is chicken fan burger, which is not available in most other mcdonalds restaurants in Switzerland. What I don’t like is that the plastic straws have disappeared and if you are taking a meal to eat inside they even don’t give a lid for a drink anymore. Thus 4 stars.

I order more than I eat there, but the few times I've been there, I've received incredibly friendly and courteous service, which I honestly never expected at a McDonald's. Now to my only criticism. Unfortunately, around 60% of my last orders were not complete. All of them related to the McMenu, sometimes the sauces were missing, last time the fries were missing from both menus. Which is why unfortunately I can't give full stars.

2.5 star rating. Hello, once again I was in this fast food restaurant from MC Donalds where I had the same problem as last time in the same place: not freshly prepared products and also cold. I understand that it is a fast food restaurant, but dear owner, isn't it possible for you to simply serve hot and fresh food?

The branch in Untertor is being renovated, which is why a visit here was spontaneously an option. Not much has changed here and unfortunately only negative things: - At peak times, pretty much everything is neglected instead of planning for more staff. If you want to earn more money, you should also invest something. - If there are problems with the McDonald app, it now simply says "We're sorry, we can't help you." I showed the employee the error message in the app that the system was overloaded. The coupon was still redeemed even though I didn't get anything out of it. The boss wasn't interested, didn't look at the problem and left the customer alone with it. The interesting question arises as to whether local branches will again arbitrarily decide for themselves or whether the headquarters in the USA has ordered this service to be downgraded. Apparently the products are constantly being improved, but one gets the impression that the meat patties are becoming thinner and tasteless and that they are now even cutting back on the sauce so that the customer can be charged extra for more sauce. McDonald's has always been a suitable address for quick hunger, not because it is healthy, but this service downgrade motivates people to rethink.

This restaurant on Zurcherstrasse loses in quality: both in the quality of the food (some products are cold and noticeably not freshly prepared) as well as in the service (delivery of products not ordered) as well as in the hygiene (tables and hallway not clean) unfortunately I already have this once noticed. A change is needed to bring everything back to normal. Nevertheless, I give it three stars because it is a restaurant from a fast food chain

If you are a citizen and then drink Coke, the Coke tastes like medicine. My daughter felt the same way too. I know that the food isn't the healthiest, but it tastes so chemically. We will avoid this in the future. Stomach cramps and diarrhea from your food. Thank you very much I could post pictures of your undigested citizen now, but I'd rather leave it annoying for other people.

Very cheeky manager. That I waited 10 minutes for a Hamburger Natur. And I talked to my brother about how it wasn't normal to wait so long even though the burger had already been there. And she told me I didn't have to come eat there if I didn't like it. That was the last time I came there. The woman is so unfriendly, it's no longer normal.

The sauces have been forgotten for the 7th time in a row. I don't know if the employees do it specifically or if their short-term memory is really that short. Every time the same!!!

I am a frequent customer here, now I have to give a review because almost every time it tastes very good and everything is served hot and fresh.

Was crowded and loud! but what can a man say? MC tastes good

I had to order as a passenger because the driver didn't speak German. A second person switched on through the headset during the drive and said in a very unfriendly and aggressive tone that the passenger shouldn't order because she didn't understand anything, although the employee could understand me well up until then and took my order 1 to 1. That would all be a problem, but the sound plays the music. If I perceived this correctly, the manager delivered this behavior.

Something is always forgotten at the drive-in. Dear customers, it's our fault because we also have to check whether everything is there, she's stressed and doesn't have three eyes to look at everything and all with a loud tone! Never again McDonald's in Töss!

People in civilian clothes are hanging around behind the cash desk area, wet towels are waving in the kitchen area, which reminds me of holidays in Toggenburg in 1980.

They want to report a college for no reason and some of the food has already gone bad, I had to throw up after the burger, definitely don't go there. This doesn't deserve a star.

Absolute no go!! After we asked at the drive-in whether it would be possible to pay for Twint, the payment didn't work because the staff didn't know how it worked.

I have ordered several times and am very dissatisfied. Twice something was forgotten or something was delivered incorrectly. Every time you say there's nothing you can do. Very unfortunate.

It's good because you can also park your van, but unfortunately it's not high enough to use the Dreif inn.

Sunday evenings are always busy here and since the mask and certificate requirements were lifted, every table is occupied. Luckily there is enough staff and orders go over the counter normally without too long of a wait.
