McDonald's in Interlaken

I asked for a glass of water which I was refused even though I had ordered 2 burgers. Water is drinkable in Switzerland and should be available free of charge when requested. It makes no sense to force people to drink water from plastic bottles.

Be sure to avoid during tourist times! People from other countries don't seem to know how to behave. The whole restaurant is filthy and the toilets are disgusting. The restaurant can't do anything about it, but I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

The last time I was there I was brutally insulted twice by different workers. I just wanted to order the fish burger (which is my favorite burger) but then the burger was poorly assembled and tasted very strange I thought it was moldy. I wouldn't eat here again!

It’s international McDonalds, the only thing one should expect is hot food and good WiFi. Both were delivered. Try the “hot devil sauce”, you’ll feel wicked especially if you mail a bundle of these to Matt’s mom and say “delivered from the scream poster to you via Barrel.”

I am living in Interlaken. I am regular here. Oh… fuxx.. they always they always forgot sth. when I order for take away they always miss 1 or 2 items. It’s already 5 times. When I came back home I realized and I cannot go back only for 1 item. Remember if you order many items this people cannot calculate well. always check in the counter when you receive the items specially for take away. I just bought few items for family. and of course they didn’t put chicken nuggets for my kids. of course thats mcdonald Interlaken. not surprised anymore.

You can only order from the vending machine, since when??? Store management was very disrespectful to me (customer) with the ordering method. In my opinion, this branch has a lack of competence when it comes to customer satisfaction!!! never again!!!

I wanted to place an order for the whole family that would be 11 menus and YES, of course, as a guest I expect a cash register to open, but I'm cheekily told off at the machine and then loudly shouted at by the branch clerk, who says that's not enough. Not worth any stars, the branch is absolutely unworthy of guests, the branch manager is absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and incompetent in all respects.

The only employee I had contact with was friendly. The food came very quickly and was warm. Fries, drink, sauces were all great. Unfortunately I didn't like the veggie paprika burger. The consistency and taste of the patty were not convincing.

Buy espresso and cheeseburger~~ Since I was leaving early the next day, I ate it as a breakfast replacement. Even when it cooled down, the beef patty was so delicious without any meaty smell~♡ Of course, inhale a cheeseburger with hot soup with Korean soul food fried udon and small cup ramen~ I enjoyed it so much.

Burger meat patty was worse than a dried out elephant's foot. Not even sauce on the burger.

This branch is literally ripping off its customers. My food was debited twice at the same time. After several phone calls, I was assured that it would be sorted out, but nothing has been resolved to date...according to an employee, this happens often here!! I was told by an employee that I had to order a hot tea even though I just needed hot water for my wife who was having upset stomach. I ended up paying for a hot water essentially. Never seen any McDonald’s charging customers for hot water ! 👎👎

The manager is very rude man, he dont care about customer. He also mention a word that "Its your own problem" to a customer. I have been another mcdonald in Zermatt, but this interlaken mcdonald are so different from their services, their rudeness. cleaniness.

Worst McDonald ever in Europe. Manager and staff so rude. I have old swiss franc from my last visit in 2019, I didn't know that it already can't be used anymore. They looked down on me just because I have that old money, especially the Indian manager. He even thought that I can't speak english. After talking rude because I had that old money, they just left me at the counter, and never asked if I had another money. Of course I leave the counter and never pay, because they left me first, even though I can pay with my new money. Not recomended at all for tourist...

The best McDonald's restaurant, everything is prepared on time and fresh

Mac is always a lifesaver... especially suitable for children The order was made through the screens and then the bill was presented to the employee...they were quick to submit the order and the food was hot and fresh ✌️✌️

Good Service at reasonable price

The fries are so crispy! The chicken burger is delicious because the chicken is so crispy. The chicken blah burger set is 14.50 francs.

It was the first time I had been poorly served in this McDonalds by a sample of a man who claimed to be the "manager", I asked her to take a cucumber off my burger and the man had not only responded poorly , but also a 0 setting. He was rude, can't talk to the customer, didn't solve the problem and even said he had nothing to do with him. When I finally asked him to file a complaint he said he would take a break and wait 30 minutes. I will come back to file a full complaint and make sure this type of person does not serve others.

It's a shame that you can only order food via these devices. For older generations this is not great and very tiring!

I only ordered Chicken McNuggets, which are much better than those in Taiwan. Even if they are cold, they are still delicious. It’s amazing.

This Mc Donald's is so different than the one in US: very clean and fancy. The staff were super nice. The menu is so different with variety of different coffee and sauces. Kiosk has English options. I tried the tasty burger with bacon and that's the freshest Mc Donald's burger Ive ever had. The patty is meaty and juicy. It doesn't taste grainy like what I had back in US.

Best restaurant in Switzerland. If you're visiting this country, you must try this restaurant.

The branch is small and the place is hot

We wanted a voucher for 2 menus, then they claimed that this was only for big. Mcs worked, we asked if you could change the order and they said: Yes. 1 minute later an employee came and said the change was not possible in the system and we had to complete the old order WITHOUT a voucher because Gutsvhein kept it and we had to pay the original price. We always fancy a meal at McDonald's when we're abroad, especially when food is so expensive in Switzerland. We came to this Interlaken West branch for a quick bite as it's just opposite to our hotel. We ordered 2 Filet-O-Fish meals & a Big Mac. The fishes were tasty, crispy & not over cooked. The Big Mac tasted beefy too. The obvious difference to those McDonald's in the UK were the breads they used, as the Swiss' McDonald's were more soft & bouncy. We went to the counter to order due to we wanted to pay cash. But the manager told us off & just pointed her finger to the self order machine even we didn't know how to pay cash on a machine. It was a bit rude but I think it's just the language barrier. What I also didn't like was the size of package of ketchup, they were so tiny so we had to purchase about 7 bags at the end. Afterall, we were on a holiday so we were in a good mood even when the service was bad.

Fries cold, drinks wrong. And service unfocused. We were the only ones there, but still the wrong drink. I dropped my burger on the floor on the train and was able to throw it away later.

The McDonald's is very small. The staff speaks German very poorly and the tables were dirty. We had to clean the table ourselves with cloth and cleaning agents. @ Managing Director McDonald's Interlaken Friendly and gesture oriented? Today I visited Mc in Interlaken with my family. 1. According to Mr. Samuel, nothing is allowed to be ordered from the cash register, but the cash registers were open. Which is not the case in other MCs. 2. When we got our food, a burger was cold. I took it back to the checkout because it didn't meet the quality of McDonald's. Thereupon Mr. Samuel who was standing at the cash register spoke loudly in Tamil language to kitchen staff. He didn't want to accept that it was cold but (very unfriendly and arrogant tone) claimed that it was normal. When I said it repeatedly, the friendly gentleman brought the burger. My question is, since when did Tamil become the official language of CH? Unfriendly and arrogant gestures, Serving cold food and insisting that it's right is how McDonald's works? I think less. The food was good and the staff friendly. The only thing I found to be too warm was the temperature in the store and I almost couldn't stand it for 10 minutes inside.
