McDonald's in Frauenfeld

Burger cold and so "lovingly" put together that it's almost impossible to eat. Unfortunately the order was packed incorrectly. But we didn't want to wait again.

Basically just a McDonalds like you can find everywhere. Neither good nor bad in comparison. However, it is very pleasant because, compared to other restaurants in Frauenfeld, it is open until late at night. So ideal for nighttime hunger.

The people who work there are so loud, you can stay in peace. Don't eat because the employees are arguing so loudly in the kitchen

The boss was very unfriendly and unhelpful

McDonald's is a system restaurant, meaning you should expect a certain minimum standard in each of their restaurants. Unfortunately that doesn't apply here... The last time we were given more sauce for the Big Tasty menu upon request, and last week that was suddenly no longer possible. Somehow every employee says something different, or at least gives that impression. The lady then stubbornly tried to lead us back to the self-check machine and didn't really listen. She was very confident and tried to show my colleague how to order three times in a row. We asked her to show us specifically where to order more sauce. your knowledge; is not possible... wow! It's bad when frontline employees can't even listen properly, let alone understand. But then treating the customer like an idiot? That doesn't work. In any case, the shift leader or boss was wearing a different color uniform and told her employee that we should complain to headquarters and that she didn't have time for that. She also didn't think it was necessary to explain this contradiction directly to the customers, why it was possible before and now suddenly not. She also seemed indifferent to the fact that we overheard this conversation and that our concern directly concerns this restaurant. As karma would have it, the same staff missed one of our two orders. My colleague no longer had the nerve to wait for another order and resigned himself to the lukewarm Big Tasty. He never wanted to order here again and I agreed to that. If you're looking for delicious burgers in Frauenfeld, you should head back along Zürcherstrasse and try Steffen's burger manufactory. I notice that almost all McDonald restaurants rely heavily on self-checkout machines and do not want to accept direct orders at all. If something goes wrong with the order in the app, there is no help on site, as was recently discovered in Winterthur. Save staff to the max, service downgrade is fully included. Conclusion: We were treated like idiots. In one respect this seems to be true because we were stupid enough to keep stopping here. It's time to get smarter and drive past consistently.

12/12/2023: Yesterday I had a burger with chicken from Mc Donald Frauenfeld. Now I have food poisoning 👽 I'll never eat anything there again. Update December 28, 2023: McDonald Switzerland's complaint management is excellent. Clarifications were made and I was informed.

Every time you order a drive, the order is not complete and at least something is always forgotten.

Went to McDonald's Frauenfeld for dinner with my children today. We ordered and paid for the menus we wanted. Afterwards our food came to the table. The serving lady had 4 colas (pet and can) on the tray. Afterwards I told her that we didn't order all the cokes. She said the machine was broken. Today there is only cola or water to choose from (warm drinks). However, we ordered drinks to Menu Medium and not cans! We paid the full price, but we received something completely different (of inferior quality!). Such a shame! The children were very sad.

The Mc Donald in Frauenfeld has actually taken the negative reviews to heart - I was served nicely the last two times, the burgers are now freshly prepared to order (even as ordered), you can especially feel this when you eat the burgers Ordered drive-thru and they are still warm and fresh at home. Please keep it up and then there will be 5 stars, thank you very much!

Every time something is missing from the order at the drive through! But without exception, every time. It's just a shame, the rest is fine. But it would be really nice to work on it...

I was looking forward to a burger and then I realized the bacon was missing. The young lady just said "oh sorry. No apology or a friendly smile from her. They just put the bacon on my almost cold burger. The staff touches the food with their bare hands, which were previously in their sweaty faces. Hygiene should be a top priority when it comes to fast food!! The service in Germany is much more pleasant, friendly and cleaner than in Switzerland. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again because there is Burgerking on the opposite side!!

An absolute disgrace!!! Without exception, EVERY drive-thru order is missing at least one item!!! In the future I will check everything at the counter and also count whether everything is correct - unfortunately the following customers will have to wait 🤷🏻‍♀️ because unfortunately the staff cannot be relied on.

Best McDonald's I go to. Always super fast, I have a lot of respect for the employees there. No matter how crazy busy it gets, they keep up and always deliver!

McDonald's like everyone else. Clean and offer as usual. Plenty of free parking spaces available.

Terrible assistance and unprofessional

This McDonald's is not only overwhelmed with the few orders but also the unfriendly service I have ever had to experience in my life. I just wanted to order two menus with a friend. When I arrived at the mc drive, I first had to listen to an unfriendly and indistinct voice. I didn't arrive 10 minutes before the store closed. There was no car in front of me or behind me. I can't imagine that the store was full. After the first ordered menu with a small request to order the burger without onions and tomatoes, this was probably too much for the employee. Without asking if that was all, you could neither hear nor reach her. We drove to the first window and this was slapped in front of our noses. At the second window I wanted to politely explain that this wasn't the whole order. Instead of solving the problem and taking my order again, I had to let the boss herself yell at me and treat me condescendingly. It's a shame because you never know who you just scared. Stupid of me for not defending myself, even stupider of the boss personally, who has no concept of such customer-oriented dealings, but stupidest of all of the McDonald's management to hire such a woman as boss and leader of an entire team.

These special students can't even manage to sell a burger that is overpriced. Instead of a Double Big Tasty, I get a hamburger with bacon and pay 10Fr for it. Put your bacon in your back rack. Best regards

Today we were very disappointed. The French fries were soggy, the burger was completely mashed and there wasn't the slightest reaction to our Grüezi. A pity.

McFlurry ordered and received thin mush instead of ice. The tray was slammed unfriendly onto the table. Horrible and the second time in Frauenfeld. No thanks, if you want to eat ice cream you should go somewhere else. For example, to McDonnalds in Weinfelden, I have never been disappointed.

This McDonald's only causes problems. You have to check the order every time. Nowadays you can no longer even rely on the notes with the menu adjustments. Very dangerous if someone has an allergy and doesn't look at the food carefully beforehand. If you complain to the staff you will get eye rolls and unfriendly employees. By far the worst customer service I have ever received. Apart from how much money was already lost on food that you couldn't eat.

A lot of things are forgotten when ordering via drive, just like in restaurants

The food is mostly good but there are also days when it is not good, the fries are sometimes limp and the meat and bread are no longer warm and crispy. The staff is very bad, everyone is extremely unmotivated and has absolutely no desire to work. They are not friendly and are not in a good mood either. And you always wait for what feels like hours for the food and then sometimes it's not good. It would be great if you could work on it because the terrible staff every time is really annoying. & a little more in the quality of the food too. :)

Was there in the afternoon, around 3 p.m. Two (!) guests besides me. On the other hand, there were three employees who didn't feel like dedicating themselves to the work. The ladies preferred to chat with each other. Especially since my hamburger had been prepared for quite a long time, judging by the taste, so all employees were able to take part in the conversation. Most of the tables were dirty, fries on the seats, ketchup on the floor, everything was dirty. Since none of the ladies felt like cleaning a bit, I removed some of the grease from my table myself using a few napkins. It's amazing to me how a place can exist like this. It's actually a shame because I like to enjoy a burger every now and then. So in the future drive 100 m further and there will be a Burger King.

I would give 3-4 stars just for the food. Because sometimes the burgers have way too much sauce in them. But I find the staff clearly too unmotivated and sometimes unfriendly, which is why I only give it 2 stars.

I was just in drive and picked up 6 chicken nuggets. The wrong sauces AGAIN!!! The staff almost always puts the wrong sauces in them. Really difficult!!! Please pay closer attention!!! Thanks.

I'm totally disappointed! The food and the recipes are implemented as they should but the staff is a disaster. It is extremely important to ensure customer satisfaction, especially in the catering industry. It's not necessarily about the waiting time, but rather the tone towards the customers! I work in the catering industry myself and I completely understand long waiting times in the lunch or evening service. The way she treated me and other customers despite my patience is really VERY DISRESPECT!!

Almost cold fries, far too much sauce in the burgers and long waiting times. The only positive thing is the nuggets. I recommend the one in Wil SG, it's only 10 minutes away.

Once again only part of the order was packed.....yes my mistake for not checking and trusting that it was correct.....I then drove another 10km so that the order was complete... ..unfortunately totally incompetent staff there. It would have at least been accommodating if they had offered me the next burger for free as compensation.....but unfortunately I have to say "I was there last time".....I'm totally pissed....

Dirtiest McDonald's I've been to in a long time. Littering in McDonald's by teenagers/young adults is a given here. This means that the trays are left on the tables full of rubbish. Therefore, guests can hardly find a free table during dinner time. Tip to teenagers and young adults: Call your mom if you're not yet independent enough to clean up your mess.

Quality of the mixed nuggets leaves something to be desired, very dry and no longer fresh. Very long waiting time even though the restaurant was practically empty.

Waiting time for 1x fries, 1x gem chicken nugget box and 2 drinks was about 15 minutes, despite the restaurant being empty. The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. Nuggets dried out as if they had been under the heat lamp for hours. Also fries not fresh. Then a 15 minute wait for 2 coffees and 2 apple turnovers, which didn't taste fresh either. In response to the complaint, they said we don't have enough staff. Tables around were not cleaned even though no guests were sitting there during our stay. It was our last visit to this branch.

You can no longer order at the checkout, only at the machine. An impudence!

Always worth a visit. Just one thing, people please learn to park! Quite friendly staff, the drive-thru is a bit unfortunate, but there's almost no other option in the small area, Qualipet, Denner, shoe and clothing store with Interdiscount right next door.

Got food today via mc drive, everything was wrong!!!! Instead of mc crispy chicken honeym. They gave us mc chicken, instead of fishmac they gave us chicken nuggets, instead of big tasty they gave us a big mac!!!!! Just bad service!

Unbelievable... you go to McDonald's at 1:15 p.m. to get a McFlury for your kids. Then the answer: there is no McFlury at the moment because they have just cleaned the machine!!! Which incompetent worker or branch manager caused this? But he definitely deserves the award as dumbest employee of the month... you don't clean the machine at lunchtime...

Mc Donalds Frauenfeld.... What can I say.... Burger was sloppily prepared (Big Tasty) The Mc Racelette was awesome. Not much has happened in the last few years. When I compare Mc Frauenfeld with the others, it is definitely one of the more mediocre restaurants. One star deduction for poor service and another deduction for constantly rising prices and consistent quality ah yes and smaller burgers with less in them...

I had a beautiful nomi in Mac Frauefeld. It's nice. The staff is friendly. Cool game pi dusse.

Always check to make sure everything you ordered is in the bag. Things are often forgotten or replaced here (I've had that 3 times this year). Otherwise the quality and cleanliness is good.
