McDonald's in Baar

My visit to McDonald's in Baar (Zug) was overall okay, but not exceptional. The restaurant was clean and well-lit, and the staff was friendly and efficient in processing my order. As for the food, it was what you'd expect from McDonald's - fast, convenient and consistent. My burger was warm and freshly cooked, although I felt it could have had a bit more flavor.

For a moment I didn't know whether I was still in Switzerland or in Albania. I went to the counter to type my order and then waited 5 meters in front of the counter. Unfortunately, the employees once again spoke in Albanian, which I find very unpleasant if you don't understand it. Afterwards a customer came in who was on the phone and wanted to pick up his order. The employee who had chewing gum in his mouth raised his voice and told the customer to hang up and smacked his lips and turned around and then complained to his colleague in Albanian. The customer was confused and didn't understand German. I've been coming for two years and the staff is a disaster, they speak Albanian all the time. The situation made me very angry because the customer cannot defend himself. On 3/15/24 Best regards

We go to Mc Drive here regularly. The food is always good and warm. The service is very friendly, but often unfocused. Often at least something is missing. This is super annoying because on the one hand you are happy and on the other hand you have paid for it. There are usually two or three of us and you don't want to unpack the whole bag before you leave. Today, as is often the case, it was the apple turnover that I was most looking forward to 🙃

I ordered food with my brother on January 27th, 2024 and the next day we had food poisoning and had to vomit several times.

Unfortunately, the “quality” of the food has decreased dramatically over the last three months. Burger has almost no sauce, meat is extremely dry. Inedible. I was happy for years and had no idea what or who was going on.

First of all, I would like to say that the food is always equally good👍 But: we only use Mc Drive and it has happened several times that the contents of the bag do not correspond to the paid order🥲 i.e. once it was water instead of a milkshake, twice it was missing Hamburger and today the order was: Mc Chicken menu and 6 chicken nuggets. The nuggets were missing. I know you should check, but I don't want to have to keep opening the bag before I get home and let the food get even colder just because I no longer trust it. Went to the drive in. There were 4 of us and we ordered for 70 Fr. The horror at home. Like many times before, a Big Mac was missing. Large orders at the drive-thru are never good.

Please always check your order... we didn't got 2 from 6 ordered burgers, just put quickly everything in a bag and send you in your way. very unproffessional and not motivated staff.

I usually only end up at Mc when I'm out and about and I'm hungry, it's late and I don't want to take the time to cook. It's always been enough for that! Mc Drive was usually very hectic and uncaring, so now I always go in and order on the screen because somehow there is no one at the checkout anymore (?). The orders have always been correct. The only negative points: We ordered something once and our order (Mc Flurry) was forgotten. Another point: The staff next to the checkout when taking out orders don't even look at you anymore (I think it's a shame, because I would like to at least look you in the eye and say thank you and say goodbye, but somehow the employees just seem unloving. And that wasn't the case before so (I've been going to this Mc for almost 15 years

They get the orders wrong 50% of the times, you order vegetarian and accidentally get chicken in vegetarian wrapping, still have to pay for their mistakes and usually something is missing from the order

It's the third time I've had the wrong thing packed into the carrying bag in the McDrive! C’mon! Addendum: and for the 4th time: Cola Zero instead of normal. I'm already checking the whole order, except I didn't try the cola... I should go to Sihlbrugg, maybe they're more competent there?

Absolutely fantastic experience at McDonald's! Everything was simply amazing. Our waitress was friendly, although she forgot our strawberry frappe. Awful service. They closed off my order before it had been completed just so their stats looked better and forgot my order completely. Also saw them take food from my bag and give it to another customer. Head office should look into this franchise. Its service is absolutely abysmal. I will be raising a complaint with them also directly. Avoid like covid

Very bad location, employee at the drive counter in a bad mood, she wasn't even able to close the lid for the drink properly, everything in the car spilled on the floor. Burgers were a mess in the box. Please better control what your employees are doing, if they are not capable, get them out!!!

They systematically get wrong orders. Either in shop (salt/no salt fries) or with delivery (twice in a row messed up / forgot order). The burgers are made with much more attention in other franchises, where the food simply looks better.

The present personnel is by far not reliable. What you order and pay may not exist inside the bag. It is not the first time. I recommend to check overtime what you get at the end. There is no good excuse for such a reputable mistake. The attached receipt states 2 extra French fries that they were never inside the website paper bag. Next time I will not leave without checking at the end.

McDonalds in Zug/Baar Zugerstrasse. I rarely go to McDonald's but this really surprised and pleased me. We got our order served to the table and VERY friendly.

It was good. I had a Big Tasty with bacon, medium fries and a white coffee. It was indeed big and it did contain some bacon in addition to a beef burger and a load of salad and it was tasty. I enjoyed it. Also to get my food, there are big touch screens where you can go through all the stuff on the menu and select what you want, pay with a contactless card, pick up a plastic triangle with a number on it then sit at a table and wait for someone to bring the food. No need to go to the counter and order food then hand over cash. The whole experience kept interaction with anyone else to an absolute bare minimum. The only interaction I had was saying thank you to the lady who brought my food to my table . I can't help thinking it's a sad reflection on life nowadays. I think Cliff Richard predicted this years ago with his song "We don't talk anymore" 😔

Third time I received an incomplete order. Today the hamburger was missing from the Happy Meal. There was a young man who was really sad. ONLY happens to me at McDonalds in Baar!

It is highly recommended Top service, very quick order taking, very patient, very socially competent, you immediately feel more hungry when the staff has such good vibes. A very respectful shift manager😊 from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 so very international speaking people who also understand High German, English and more, excellent fast service with glasses, beautiful smile and curly hair. I personally highly recommend it to anyone who values ​​top quality and top service.

The McDonald's is surrounded by the drive-in street. You also notice this when you eat in a restaurant. That's a shame, but it's due to a less than ideal infrastructure. Fortunately, the usual McDonald's colors have moved somewhat into the background again. Obviously it should be about the essentials again. The food, the fun and the experience. 🥳 Everything done right. It's relatively easy to feel comfortable here and indulge in classic McDonald's food. Every time I eat here I get impeccable, almost hot and fresh burgers. You can just enjoy it speechlessly. Delicious from the first to the last bite. In this branch, the whole team works every day with full commitment for us customers. The cleanliness and hygiene are excellent. Special requests are of course implemented as best as possible and delivered as requested after minor customer modifications. Again any time. Bravo, to the whole team, I take my hat off to you. I don't think I've ever been to a better McDonald's than yours. Keep it up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yesterday we had a birthday party there and the lady who did it with the children didn't have a heart for it. It was a bit boring. She looked like she was forced to do it. It's a shame, I know that from before. Another lady did it, it was funny, entertaining and super nice. Did it with enthusiasm. What a shame, what a shame ☹️

I got lukewarm patatos and chicken nuggets. When we asked if we could have fresh warm nuggets and patatos, the manager Melina came across as very arrogant without saying hello and just shook her head. She told me that they can't always make fresh ones....😝 she took the patatos without a word and came back to us with the same lukewarm ones🤪 I expressly told her again that I wanted warm patatos. This director, Milena, didn't apologize a word. She just left us there. Another employee told us that they would bring the fresh ones to our table. Poor, indecent, unfriendly manager Milena 😒too bad! Such people don't belong on the front line and are bad for business

My husband and I have food poisoning after visiting yesterday! Thank you McDonalds, please make sure that the cold chain is no longer interrupted and that next time the food is perhaps made with gloves. Ev. It was also because of the rag that the store manager used for the work surface and for everything else. Hygiene rules = non-existent.

This McDonald's is close to my Swiss office, and I went there for a quick bite with a colleague. It's easy to access from the sidewalk as well as the filling station next door. The ordering is through the touch screen systems standard in most McDonald's franchises, and all the ordering systems were up and running. They offer table service. The interior is a bit run down and grimy. The interior design is the typical kid oriented design you find in most McDonald's restaurant. However, given the location in a busy office area with very few residential buildings nearby, it would have been nicer to have the McCafe type of design, so that people in suit jackets (which were most of the people eating there at the time) don't look out of place. The food was put together okay, and the tray returns were easy to find. It's an okay place to grab a quick bite between meetings.

Placed a takeaway order from the machine. No receipt came out of the machine. I then told the staff about this and they asked several times for the order number (which is on the receipt, which I didn't have). After a long back and forth, the employee found the order in the system. Among other things, the order included a BigMac menu. When I got back home with the order (takeaway) I noticed that I had received a BigMac menu without BigMac.

The branch is in a terrible state, especially the toilets. Not recommendable.

04/19/2023 "8:40 p.m." I order a Happymeal > chicken nuggets, fries, apple juice, for my little child who is extremely looking forward to it. Just make the happy meal at 8:50 p.m. and instead of 4 chicken nuggets there are only 2 chicken nuggets in it. Can it really be that difficult or is it intentional? Something like that can't and shouldn't happen. Forgetting an onion or ketchup is ok, but only putting 2 chicken nuggets in a CHILDREN's menu instead of 4 is absolutely miserable. Really a shame!!! Then you really have to check every time you order whether everything is included...

Was a customer here often. Unfortunately, people are now selling absolutely inferior PAPER tubes. These naturally dissolve themselves and are mushy after 3 seconds. Absolute garbage! As a result, McDrive is dead and I only go very rarely. Why do you take a cheap, pleasant, functioning product and replace it with a more expensive one that uses many times as much energy and water? Food good as always. The order always arrives with me on time. The nice thing is that you can create the order yourself. In summer when the weather is nice. You can end your lunch or dinner comfortably alone or with friends outside on the terrace. There is also ws ad for the children to experience.

I order a Chargrill Veggie every time. Unfortunately, I don't know when I last received one of these. Either there was a chicken in it, the Honey Mustard Edition or, like today, with the Big Mac sauce. It is always written correctly on the bag, but the contents are incorrect. For the third time, I was packed with a chicken burger instead of a honey mustard veggie burger. Packaging is honey mustard veggie but inside is a chicken burger. When I went to get a new burger, I was told it was my mistake and that I should look better. It would be better if the employees there would pack the correct order and burger and give it to the customer.

We went to Mc Drive late on a seemingly quiet evening today. Unfortunately, not only was the receipt missing, but also a burger. We noticed this in good time and complained on site. Our order was completed without hesitation. At home we discovered that the packet of fries was only half full. But what was the biggest disappointment for me was the drink that came with my menu. I made it clear twice that I wanted a Coke Zero with it. I am diabetic. When I took the first sips at home, I immediately noticed that it was a normal cola, which was a no-go for me and my illness. It's a shame, I had to forego the drink I paid for. I hope you take my criticism seriously. The taste of the food was good, even if it was a bit cold.
