Migros Restaurant in Schaffhausen

The Migros Restaurant is basically a good restaurant. But there should be more choice and the cleanliness could be improved a lot. The tables are very often and several tables are sticky and unclean. You sometimes have to search to find a clean place.

Very good food and nice atmosphere. Always very good offers in the restaurant.

Always a good idea! I’ve there so many times with my family. A lot of choice in salty food, sweet food and drinks. The prices are also pretty good (considering you’re in Switzerland) and the employees are always nice and polite. In the back there is also a play area for kids! Really nice! For sure will be back again and again.

Due to several bad experiences and unfriendly service from the staff S.He***, we will avoid the restaurant and will not recommend it under any circumstances. Answers like: I'm not a cleaning lady when we asked to wipe down a sticky table, or do I look like it's my business? It can't be that the employees treat customers like that.

The food is good and the coffee too... However, since the renovation, the Migros restaurant has had a smell. It's probably the cleaning products. At first I thought I was the only one who smelled it, but now several other people have confirmed that they smell it too and it just smells terrible. It starts at the front door and extends to the Migros vegetables. So it must come from the restaurant. Please Migrosrestaurant team change your cleaning products 🙏 maybe also the disinfectant for tables or whatever else you use 🙋‍♀️

This is a chain of restaurants next to the Migros store. The food is cheaper than in normal restaurants and is freshly prepared. Vegetarian dishes are also served.

Since the renovation, the selection is much larger and the meal composition is much more flexible. I think the ambience is very good for a self-service restaurant. There are normal tables, high tables, seating groups and also bistro tables.

For a cheap restaurant it's great! Good selection of food, from fish and chips to salad amd traditional Swiss food. The Asian bar is my fave and price point is not to bad. Free water, alcohol to chose from and hot beverages. Always full and the people are helpful and friendly.

Saturday: Despite high frequency, floors are no longer mopped, tables are no longer cleaned, nothing is disinfected. Entire groups of guests sit without consuming, high noise levels without any supervision.

Great self service restaurant with a vast choice of various meals, light snacks, desserts and choices of cakes. Prices are reasonable (eating out is never cheap). It is clean. Large seating area yet still has a cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly. There are typical Swiss dishes available, personally I believe there is enough choice for most pallets. Sometimes there are special for a coffee and a choice of cake or dessert, a special little treat in the middle of the day. Do remember that often the main meal is eaten between 12pm and 2pm in Switzerland, so often restaurants are more busy at this time and possibly if you leave your visit till 4pm you might not have as much choice available to you.

The daily menu with meat has become very, very expensive. Compared to the Coop Restaurant, it's definitely 2-3 francs more expensive. The older gray chef serves extremely small portions.

Nothing special anymore. It's been better before: The two cream schnitzels for 18.50 francs were cut very thinly and the sauce was bland. The bratwurst for 16.50 francs was good but the fries were too soft. Are you okay guys?

Nice "small" clear shopping center. You get everything you need. Hardware store just around the corner adds to the shopping pleasure.

I found a hair in my sandwich and it can't be mine because the hair was long and my hair is short. But otherwise the sandwich is good.

Since the renovation, the restaurant has become much nicer. Great selection of different menus or buffets. Beautiful seating, sofas and bar chairs, just as you find it most comfortable.

I ate the saddest example of a Berliner ever here. Hardly any jam and also fried a little crispier than normal. If I were to buy one in the neighboring Migros supermarket, it would be far better and probably significantly cheaper too. Unfortunately, the furniture also has an unpleasant plastic-like smell that spreads throughout the seating area. Speaking of furniture: Unfortunately, there are far too few baby chairs here compared to the size of the restaurant and it's difficult to find a free chair, especially on Saturdays.

We are very satisfied with the offering and the quality of the food in the new Migros restaurant. I particularly liked the Asian counter, the ingredients are fresh and the sauces are very fine. But one downside makes me very thoughtful. The Corona protection concept seems to be good and yet there is always a male person standing at the counter without a mask. None of us enjoy the Corona measures and like wearing a mask. But that's just the way it is and it requires a bit of solidarity that everyone can muster. ....and if not, you are not allowed to enter the location. Could you take care of that? Thanks

Depending on the situation, very long waiting times. Especially with Asia. Some are already eating, others are still waiting. Eat good.

Since the renovation of the Herblingermarkt, I have enjoyed going to the Migros Restaurant more often. It's all very attractive and looks well presented. I've only had Asian cuisine. This is very fine. You can fill a bowl with whatever side dishes you want, choose the sauce and whether it is vegetarian or with meat. Price/performance ratio top. I've never finished a whole portion before.

I loved this place as a child, and I still love it very much. The food is very delicious and hygienic.

After the renovation, the restaurant only focuses on appearance. The good schnitzels from before the renovation are a thing of the past. Now, instead of two small ones, you get one large breaded schnitzel, but it's freshly fried. Inedible, just smells like stale oil and simply inedible. Guys, your conversion is of no use if the quality decreases rapidly. Too bad.

You look forward to an Olma bratwurst and when you unpack the bag at home you have a miserable, halfway cold, completely charred sausage. You also have to buy the mustard yourself... That's not possible dear Migros Eastern Switzerland... In terms of quantity, the sausage is also far removed from an Olma bratwurst. In addition, there used to be a “Bürli” that also had a certain nutritional value. Here too, total failure with the white bread... But yeah, the main thing is to maximize profits at the expense of the customers 😡

The food really wasn't worth the price 😔 for a family it's disappointing. Fries are soggy, meat is fried to death and the bratwurst has been out in the air for a long time. If the children had been so hungry, we would have left it alone

Friendly, accommodating and good quality

Shortly before 1 p.m. there was no lunch menu anymore and then I had to take an expensive menu as a replacement. Despite being fresh from the deep fryer, the fries were very limp and the staff was unfriendly. Thanks but not so soon again 🙄
