A complete experience of flavor, service and hospitality that we (my husband and I) had at this restaurant. The attendants were extremely polite. As the menu was entirely in German, the attendant explained everything in English and Italian with great patience to answer our questions. While waiting for the dishes, they were several small starters served. All very delicious. We noticed that all the dishes had carefully chosen and very fresh ingredients. Anyway, we were surprised when the Chef came to our table, greeting us and asking how our experience was. We were delighted with everything: the atmosphere, the delicious food, prepared by hand. Emphasizing, the desserts are wonderful and the service impeccable from all the staff. I recommend it and we will definitely return!

Very good food that is both visually and tastefully excellent. The service is extremely friendly and very competent. The menus are also ideal for pregnant women. The multi-course meals are accompanied by wine as well as special juices. The multi-course and the Tavolata are particularly recommended.

The food, service, and atmosphere were so good that I forgot to take pictures of the whole thing, except for the dessert at the end, so I will comment from memory. The restaurant is on the second floor in the alley. The entrance is relatively inconspicuous and requires a lot of attention. But when you come up, you will find that the interior is very well decorated and there are many business people and people in neat suits dining here (at noon time). You can already feel that this place is there. s difference. The steak for the main meal was very well prepared, with shredded pork that had been cooked for a long time underneath, and was very delicious. Dessert is chocolate tart, paired with local pickled pears, sour and sweet go well together! After the meal, the chef came out to ask about the dining experience. The overall feeling was very good, recommended!

Domingo is a genius! Don't miss this delicious culinary experience in Bern. You won't regret it. The service is perfect and the food is awesome! My second time at Miles Sense, but definitely more to come!

Great experience! We took the Tavolata, it is a surprise menu, with lots of small portions to share, allowing to enjoy the skills and broad taste of the chef with spot-on wine associations. Everything was just superb, very original, a true "world cuisine" experience with savors from all over the world. And a lovely service.

Wooow ! A vegetarian 🌱 4 course menu that was so filling and delicious. If you are in Bern and vegetarian this is the place to visit. Domingo is such a creative chef and wonderful person. The food had flavor, power and was also very pretty set on the plate. On our next visit in Bern we will be back. Thank you Domingo for this lovely evening.

A very pleasant place to spend some time as a couple or family. The staff is always smiling and explains the contents of each menu well. You must allow some time during your visit to be served. 😉

Very good evening at Mille Sens! We had the 5-course menu, all of very good quality and plentiful. The chef and team even offered us extra portions in case we were still hungry. The small downside lies more in the wine pairing. Among the four glasses (well served again!), three Neuchâtel wines: an interesting white (the house one), but an uninteresting Chasselas and a rosé. I understand the logic of using “local” products, but Switzerland offers much better wines 👌 In short, a warm welcome, smiling staff, very good and plentiful dishes! We will surely come back to perhaps try other wines! (price indication: 200 chf per person for aperitif + 5 dishes + 4 glasses of wine + sparkling water. It's a price; but it's in the normal range for this level of cuisine in the center of Bern) THANKS !

Great pork The service was excellent

Without doubt the best fine dining experience that I have had in Bern. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and the portions were ideal. We went home full and satisfied. The staff were attentive and knowledgable, giving us detailed descriptions of the food they were serving and were able to answer any questions we had. We will definitely return.

The service was very competent. Unfortunately, he was only very inattentive when we wanted to pay. We had to wait over 15 minutes until an employee (after calling) became aware of us. The food was good, but I expected a little more for the price and the 15 points. The atmosphere was cozy, but the toilets were a nightmare in size. If you want to use these, you shouldn't be claustrophobic or overweight. But they were clean.

Excellent cuisine, full of flavors and good taste sensations. The waiter did his best to speak to us in French and the service was very good. Unfortunately the atmosphere does not match the delicacy of the dishes. This evening there were 3 large tables and 3 tables of two. The atmosphere was more of a brasserie type, very noisy.

There were two of us and we chose a 4-course menu with matching wine. All you can really say is that the name of the restaurant was “program”. The “greeting from the kitchen” was already very clever and made us look forward to “more”. All 4 courses were excellently prepared. Every single one was an experience, nothing was repeated and the flavors were wonderfully rounded. The service was very friendly and humorous, and her explanations of the menu were appropriate and not intrusive. Exactly how you want it. The ambience in the Restuaran is casual despite the high standard. At the end of the main course, the boss also took a short tour of the restaurant. He asked my vegetarian companion whether the dish was tasty and whether there was anything that could be improved since he was not a vegetarian!!! The restaurant and the food are thoroughly pleasant and the price is absolutely justified. The matching wines were wonderful and it was a great pleasure to eat at Mille Sens. After 4 courses I only have one question: Who can do 6 courses?

There were four of us and we were pampered with culinary delights. We chose the Tavolata with wine accompaniment and everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the dessert. A really nice evening, congratulations and many thanks to the entire Mille Sens team!

We had the 3 course menu. It was very delicious. As the name suggests, you experience many senses through the beautifully prepared dishes. We were served very friendly. The boss greeted each table and came by every now and then and said goodbye to us again. I personally found the bottle of water for 10.- too expensive. But I would happily recommend the restaurant.

It was a wonderful evening. The service was really great and the menu was also a dream. Visually as well as taste wise. The little birthday surprise was also thought of. We decided on a 4 course menu. You get three starters and a main course. I/we would have found it nicer if there were two starters, a main course and a dessert. We'll definitely come back.

Extraordinary. What a moment of sharing between friends. Colors and tastes different from what we are used to. A different way to eat ten dishes. Menu with a good QOQA. A visit to the chef's table which is always pleasant. The service was normal, nothing out of the ordinary. You want a different experience, I recommend it.

Simply fantastic, we enjoyed a tavolata with 5 starters and 5 main courses. Everything was perfectly prepared and the wine pairing was very well chosen. The service is very attentive and competent. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Nestled in the middle of a maze of covered passages, this restaurant is a jewel of the Bernese gastronomic landscape. A sure bet: impossible to be disappointed by the food, always creative and successful, or by the service, always on point. To my great surprise, the chef, who always visits each table at the end of the service, even gave us the recipe for a sauce which I complimented him on!

I like the place, the airy arrangement of the tables, the smiling, attentive and competent staff, the delicious daily special.

Very, very fine food and excellent service

The place can be sometimes a bit hard to find, as the typical GPS (eg Google Maps) will not be able to indicate the proper way. This is actually in an arcade, the easiest way being to go through the “Schweizerhof Passage”. The restaurant is very close to the train station, so ideally Close to the center. We took the tartare, and it was incredible. The cook ist reimagining this typical dish with Asian flavors. The Portuguese wine was also famous, very long and round, especially for a wine that can be bought by the glass. Great place to go !

Too bad, very fine, very meticulous! I don't doubt it but for a person who has a good appetite, nothing on the plate is good for very gourmet people but as for the price it is not given in relation to what is on the plate! The more tables are arranged so that your neighbor listens to the conversations at the table next to you, that can be a positive point when a couple has nothing to say to each other or anything intimate!

It is difficult to categorize this restaurant. I didn't really like the place, the style, the layout of the room. It's a little weird, a little messy. Sorry. On the other hand, the staff is very friendly and the Chef's visit at the end of service is commendable. Its lunch cuisine focused on a Business lunch is correct, solid and tasty. 5 star isnt enough for this place. Amazing, amazing, just amazing. Loved every bite! We opted for the 3-4 course and every dish was such a surprise. We also had a bottle of wine from Geneva (recommended by the chef) and it was the best wine we had this whole trip.

Very tasty food with very nice service!

Although we made a reservation for 7 people (and 2 dogs) at very short notice, we received an extremely warm welcome. Domingo prepared us a wonderful tavolata and recommended very fine wines to go with it. The whole thing is served by his well-positioned and friendly team. We really enjoyed the evening, it was an experience. Even our two youngsters felt very comfortable (in their opinion: we have never eaten so well). Underwhelming. For the vast positive reviews and considerable price tag, we expected an amazing romantic experience in Bern. The tasting menu is experimental and eclectic, but it’s not amazing. The pairing with the wine was great. Otherwise, just fine. But… the place is too well lit (bad) and too quiet (bad). It lacks any remarkable decor or ambience. And the food was “meh.” The staff was great, and our server was knowledgeable and extremely kind. She was attentive and thoughtful. But the lack of panache and standout dishes during our meal left us feeling underwhelmed. 3/5 seems somewhat generous considering the price. We weren’t wowed, really at all, during the meal.

Mille Sens Restaurant was an incredible surprise! The place is a bit hidden, between the corridors of an internal gallery, but I insisted, I went based on the excellent rating on Tripadvisor. And it was one of the places I liked most in Bern, great service, magnificent food, French wine matching everything. If you are in Bern, be sure to go! It will be an unforgettable experience!
