Pizza was served cold, the edge of the dough was already soggy, meaning that the one from the oven was left at the counter because once again the service staff were all smoking that evening. There will definitely not be another visit from me. Wouldn't recommend it either. There are better places for pizza! The ambience is similar to a staff restaurant.

Nice restaurant very large. Splashed white isn't a big hit. Focaccia was thinner than the pizza, the service was also very unfriendly and the waiter kept making jokes about foreigners that were below the belt!!

Were at the Molino in Affoltern am Albis. It took forever until we could just order our drinks. The pizzas are bad (hardly any mozzarella, far too soft) and completely overpriced. The offer for Activ Fitness members is very deceptive. Nowhere does it say that it only applies to a certain selection of pizzas. Only when we received the invoice was it said that we had to pay in full... You definitely can't win new customers that way. Thank you, once and never again.

We were in Affoltern am Albis. The prices are really extortionate and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. For 3 small cold slices of ham an additional 6 CHF on the pizza. Salad is also overpriced. The food is served carelessly. Tables are too close together so that you can't talk undisturbed and the table next to you is constantly listening.

This time the service was terrible, the waiter, while we were placing the order, kept walking away (4 times) without a reason or a word... once we finished ordering, we waited exactly an hour for a salad, I asked another if the waiter could see what had happened, he kindly went to the kitchen and immediately returned with our salads...they had been seasoned and ready for a long time...😔 Service; this time very disappointing😢!!!

My husband and I have been eating there for lunch for a long time. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the Miss Italia pizza, which was also bigger and the truffle oil was saved. We had asked for the bill and when after 15 minutes nothing had happened, we pointed out to another waitress that we had to leave and that we were still waiting for the bill and so; yes, that wasn't with me and it just left... so I had no desire to work. In general it was a very strange climate. Very unfortunate...

Great Italian near Zurich. The bread and pizza dough are homemade, which you can taste. The ingredients are super fresh and the quality is excellent. Very good pizza with a thin crust as we like it, the small portion was perfect for me (a small eater)! Pleasant, fast and attentive service! Reasonable price. This restaurant is very nice, just ideal after a day of shopping in Zurich! Accessible in 2 minutes from the motorway exit, with underground parking and direct access to the restaurant!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in Molino at end of August. At least we wanted to. When I made the reservation I asked them to seat us to a “romantic”, kind of hidden table when possible. We arrived, I reminded the host why we are there for, got seated at a table of two right next to the service station. Not a good start but it is what it is. We told our waitress that we want to take our time, relax and enjoy, we are not in a rush. I ordered a bottle of - very good - Italian white which was placed in an ice bucket behind me. We ordered our food, the appetizer came. First disappointment: the presentation of their salami plate lacked all imagination. Literally a few slices of salami and a few pieces of olives and that is it - for 19 CHF. Very poor. My appetizer, the Mediterranean Salad was not better: very small amount of mozzarella, mostly salad leaves - very uninspiring. Halfway into our appetizers, the waitress came to our table holding our main courses in her hands and smiling. Yes, the waitress to whom we told we do not want to rush. In the restaurant where I made the reservation with the note why we are there. I used to work in fine-dining restaurants and it is very clear that a service stuff cannot make a bigger mistake than this. What do you expect, to quickly finish my appetizers or push the plates aside so that you can put the main course on he table? Needless to say that our lovely dinner was screwed at this point, my blood pressure immediately rose. I sent her back to the kitchen and told her to use common sense and bring the main course AFTER we finish our appetizers. I addressed this case to the manager/captain and he apologised. Shortly another waiter came to check if everything was alright. Finally the waitress brought our main courses in the right time. So within 20 minutes there where 3 wait stuff around our table and NO ONE noticed that our wine glasses were almost empty. I basically had to pour my wine every time from the ice bucket behind me except once when the manager noticed and took the bottle out of my hand. The service was an absolut disaster, high level of incompetence and amateurism - hard to grasp why: they were busy though but not completely full. The main course - pizza with bresaola and my wife’s grilled salmon - was indeed good. So was the dessert and the coffee. Needless to say that they forgot to say or indicate anything regarding our anniversary, not even when we left and said goodbye. You normally write something on the dessert plate with chocolate or give free petit fours at the end of the dinner as a compliment or engage in a short but polite conversation regarding the situation. Not in Molino. They are clearly not up there yet. Certainly we will never return, unless we want some pizza to go. The interieur is very beautiful, practical and comfortable. Molino wants to be good, wants to be better but considering everything it unfortunately remains a cool trattoria, nothing else. 2 stars only because their pizza is really good.

Pizza Margaritta with rocket and one with ham were both lukewarm, even though there were only 6 of us at 5:30 p.m. We don't go there that quickly anymore.

Dear all and Pizzeria Ristorante Molino, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experiences at your restaurant. I have visited several times and have no complaints about the food or the wait staff. However, I had a negative encounter with the person in charge of seating guests, whose name I believe was Viktor or Victor. Last week, I made a reservation through your website, but there was no option to choose between a table on the terrace or inside the restaurant. When I arrived, I saw that there was another couple discussing their reservation with Viktor in front of me. I waited my turn, but before I could speak to him, Viktor helped a man who seemed to be his friend, skipping over me without even acknowledging me. (I said Gruezi) It was so rude, and after that he started to serve people which came after me on the second site. I've been waiting for 7 minutes. And you know what, it is not about time, but about attitude and personal behavior. Furthermore, when I asked to sit outside because there was no air conditioning inside and the temperature was around 30 degrees Celsius, Viktor told me that all the tables were already taken, despite the fact that people who arrived after me were seated outside without reservations. This made me feel even worse, as I was uncomfortable and overheated while others were enjoying the cool outdoor air. Overall, I believe that my experience was not up to the standards of a professional restaurant, and I hope that you will take steps to ensure that other customers do not have similar experiences in the future. Yesterday we visited the Molino in Affoltern a. A. There may have been a misunderstanding on our part when ordering. We wanted to order Pizza Verdure al Forno and then only received the grilled vegetables. When we pointed this out to the waitress, they simply brought us pizza margheritas. We only found out that these grilled vegetables were a separate menu (which you really couldn't guess from the small portion) when we received the bill. We paid 82 CHF for the two pizzas… The waitress did not respond to the complaint. We felt deceived and will think twice about going to a Molino again.

Good day I visited Pizzeria Molino yesterday and I have to say I was deeply disappointed with my experience. From the start there were issues that greatly influenced my opinion of this restaurant. The waitress at Molino was extremely unfriendly and showed no interest in serving us properly. She was in a bad mood the whole evening. It seemed like she didn't take us or our orders seriously. This created a very unpleasant atmosphere and left a bitter aftertaste. Another drawback was the price of the food, which was disproportionate to the quality. Yes, the pizza was okay, but honestly there are much better pizzas in other places for this price. It was disappointing to see how much we had to pay for an average pizza. What was particularly annoying was that we were no longer served alcoholic drinks during the evening. We were a large group and had a good budget, yet for some strange reason we were refused to continue ordering drinks. This lack of flexibility and hospitality is unacceptable. Overall, my visit to Pizzeria Molino was a disaster. The unfriendly waitress, the overpriced price for average pizza and the incomprehensible decision to stop offering us drinks frustrated me and my group. I cannot recommend this restaurant and advise everyone to go elsewhere for better service and higher quality food.

I love going to Molino because it is a very great restaurant in itself. The employees are usually very nice and accommodating. Today, however, the service was very unfriendly and made a very unmotivated impression. We wanted to sit down inside, the menu was given to us and it only said salad or pizza. It should be noted that you can happily point out to the guests that the kitchen doesn't open until later and that this is the only thing they can eat. The waiter simply walked away without even asking if you wanted something to drink. It was only after more than 10 minutes that he came and asked what we wanted to eat. We then said we wanted two glasses of wine. He immediately asked again what we wanted to eat, then we pointed out to him that we would like a bottle of water. The food was ordered and after a certain time he came with the drinks. I thanked you twice, once for the water and the second time for the wine, and there was no response. He didn't say a single word. The restaurant was empty, so the behavior cannot be due to stress. Without asking us if we were ready, the dishes for the starter were taken away. The only thing the waiter asked after dinner was whether we wanted dessert or coffee. Of course, after the service there was a no from us. After less than 5 minutes, the waiter walked past us and put the dessert menu on the table without saying anything. We paid and we weren't even asked whether we wanted a receipt or not, it was put on the table and there was no thank you or have a nice evening.

We've been going to Molino Zermatt very often for years and that's why we wanted to try a different location. Tonight we weren't disappointed - we ate the same thing we always eat in Zermatt and it was very good! What was significantly better in Affoltern: the service! Very nice and attentive people, the food and drinks came very quickly... The terrace is also beautifully decorated and inviting. So a successful evening and we will definitely be back.

For the price you pay for pizza etc the service should be better. We arrived at 5:15pm and were told that only pizza and salad were on the menu. Convenient as we only wanted pizza, although we would have liked an appetizer other than green salad. I ordered two children's pizzas and two adult pizzas as well as some olives. Children's pizza arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered, my wife and I sat there waiting for 20 minutes. The waiter came out and told us it was a mistake, the pizza would come immediately. 5 minutes later there was no pizza left so I complained. The manager said to us, "Sorry, I thought because you ordered olives you were going to wait a while for the pizza." We waited another 5 minutes for our pizzas, so about 30 minutes total, until the kids were almost there were finished. I'm not sure how the manager could have thought that a small jar of olives (10 maximum) would be enough for 20 minutes. Anyway, they apologized, the pizza was good, so everything was more or less fine. What really annoyed me, I managed a restaurant in London as a student, the only thing you want to achieve is customer satisfaction. When customers are dissatisfied, you want to make them happy again and compensation is usually necessary for this. I don't expect free pizza but they even charged us for the olives. Maybe management could think about it if it happens again

The spicial thing about the Molino is that you get to put your meal together. You choose the base for a Pizza, and then add what you like and they will prepare it accordingly. Same for dishes with noodles. There are, however, some given dishes where you do not have to choose all the ingredients. I had a Pizza "Sophia Loren" which was quite alright, though it needed a lot of pepper and some salt to make it taste like something. For dessert, I had the "Punto i basta", which is a table spoon of Tiramisu, accompanoed by a coffee. The Tiramisu was especially disapponting, no taste at all and obviously not even coffee in it, so that was on the lame side, not worth the prize. The coffee was alright. Staff was not really paying attention, you are just sat there with empty glasses and they don't care - eventhough there were only few tables taken. Also, the street right next to it is quite busy and the entrance to the parking house as well. So, all in all, it sure is alright for a quick lunch, but the prices are way off.

My only critique of this Molino place is that it can be cold inside. Otherwise the service is always fun and quick. The food is brilliant! But it is on the pricier side...

I visited the pizzeria on March 24th, 2023. The welcome was very warm. After we were shown to our seats, we had some fun with the service staff. It looked like a fun evening. The food was very tasty, but my colleague only got 5 tortelloni. Of course she ordered a smaller portion, but it was very meager food. The service staff seemed a bit overwhelmed; there was no other explanation for the long waiting times between courses. Contrary to the first impression, the staff did not remain as organized. The price/performance ratio is not right for me, even if many of the products are homemade. Even if the first impression didn't convince me, I won't miss it and will eat here again. Who knows, maybe I'll change my attitude towards this place.

It was the first time I ordered takeout over the phone. One pizza was missing two ingredients. One of the two ingredients was even charged for. With the two pizzas I ordered a salad, which they didn't even write down. Very disappointing. In the restaurant itself, it was always very good!

We were there on a Friday evening. We were 6 adults. Everyone had a pizza and for some of us the pizza arrived lukewarm and not as ordered in terms of ingredients. The waiter didn't bring us a new pizza and there wasn't a price reduction either. The ambience was good, the service could be much better. Price-performance ratio was ok, the menu was a bit complicated.

Pizza wasn't "cheesy" enough. Not like normal pizza but personally I thought it was okay because it wasn't greasy. The dough was a bit too thin. The pizza itself was enough. The salad for 12 CHF -> mista is unfortunately too small and doesn't really deserve the name mista. It's a shame how expensive such a small salad is. Service was okay. Ambiance is nice.

We returned after a year and a half to this place, where the pizza is very good. But alas, my pizza with vegetables was very disappointing: raw vegetables, too much flour and not well cooked, it was almost raw. My boyfriend's calzone instead, the dough was raw, the contents too, too much flour here too and finally the RAW tomato sauce, inserted after cooking the calzone. I'm sorry we are Italian and the pizza was not good at all. INEDIBLE. We ate it there just because we were hungry and because as you know it was a sin to leave it, knowing that in Zurich or surrounding areas things to eat cost the wrath of God.

1 pizza, 2 shandy 42CHF and I had to getup to get a second beer. the italian waiter must have had an french education, I or better we where staring at him like 5 times, he was looking in my eyes and still ignored me. so after getting up wandering around to find a waiter willing to serve me a second beer I found one, the pizza was low end, chewy crust, well call it border area. mainly cold and it wasnt only the fault of the out of the fridge toppings. just bought myself a pizza stone for the oven, cost me 60CHF, should pay off in 3 pizzas
