Really snobbish place, not recommended, it seems like they're only looking at your wallet 😂, they make customers uncomfortable and serve them differently, the thing that makes me laugh and it's not even who knows what as a place it just has super inflated prices, a bit of humility It wouldn't hurt whoever runs it

We were able to enjoy very tasty cocktails. The service was very friendly and good. Ambiance is also great. Fresh ingredients are used for the cocktails.

The servers was nice and quick; the Ravioli was a bit undercooked and the rice a bit too - but the flavour was amazing, the sauce on the Ravioli was delicious and the Bruschetta was 10/10. The server didn’t speak english, though other servers definitely did… I was a bit confused why they didn’t have an english speaking server help us out. My partner wanted to ask about whether something was vegan and we had a lot of trouble. But the experience was still great, and she simply chose something else.

My partner and I enjoyed a marvelous dinner on the 29/07/23 at your restaurant on the terrace. From the first course to the dessert, everything was delicious and presented beautifully. Our waiter (it‘s a shame I didn‘t get his name) was very attentive, made good recommendations and made us feel welcome from minute 1. We also liked the whole interior design of your place. We will definitely come back when we visit Ascona the next time. The only thing we didn‘t understand is why the restaurant wasn‘t fully booked on a Saturday evening - because it is a true hidden gem!

Very nice place. Courteous staff. Prices in the Ascona norm. The large aperitif offered was greatly appreciated.

Locations (5) The restaurant is within easy reach on the one-way road coming from Locarno. Parking is also easily found in the area for the nearby Coop car park. The restaurant presents itself very well with attention to detail, with a clean and warm environment. Menu (5) The menu is varied and well presented, a truly rich offering for all tastes. The appetizers we tried were very good: the Spicy Devil, morsels stuffed with pepper and stringy cheese, slightly spicy but good; the Mini Chinoise, 5 slices of beef to be cooked in a candle-heated mini cauldron, accompanied by rice and sauces; Guacamole with Tapas, also good to enjoy as an aperitif. In the end we both had the Pinsa Parmigiana, well cooked and fragrant, soft and warm. To conclude we consumed a chocolate and pear dessert and a lemon sorbet laced with vodka. Service (5) The staff is friendly and courteous, our requests were met quickly and professionally. Account (3) Generally good regarding the dish, excellent and fair quantity-quality-price ratio. Note against the wine considered a little expensive. Unfortunately it was served to us blindly, recommended based on the dishes chosen but without knowing the price until the end. Appreciated the explanatory feedback from the review by the owner. Final evaluation According to my evaluation criteria on Location, Menu, Service and Bill, this restaurant deserves a score of 4.5 out of 5.

I ate the cacio e pepe, it was good, and average. What bothered me is the very small portion for what you pay 25.- chf. It looked like a tasting or children's portion. You say I could have asked for a larger portion, so why did you make me order a second cacio e pepe? And why didn't you make me pay for one meal, rather than two meals? I paid 50.- chf to be full.

The most beautiful place in Ascona, comfort, excellent service, relaxing and pleasant. You can eat a first course, a second course or a Swiss specialty tongs, or have a drink, there is also room for your dog of any size. Professionalism and hospitality.

The location and the food are really great. It's all very nicely prepared. The staff is friendly and the prices are generally very fair. However, for us there are a few points why we cannot give 5 stars: - The call system is a really great idea. Unfortunately, half the time it doesn't work properly or the staff doesn't respond to it. We can't say what it is. - In our opinion, the milkshakes cost too much. The price/performance ratio is not right here at all. For this price you would expect a more special milkshake. - The amount of sauces (mayo/ketchup etc.) are very limited. If you want more, you pay CHF 2.00 for an additional small quantity. This is almost usury and, in our opinion, is not possible. Overall, we can really recommend the restaurant.

It's the fourth time I've come by around 10.30pm and they tell me they don't make coffee anymore because the machine is already clean. But on the website it shows that they are open until midnight

We spontaneously went to Monte Carlo this evening and weren't here for the last time! Everything was great, courteous and attentive service and the food was excellent! The nachos with the guacamole (served right there) are a must try and the Pensa was heavenly! The Budda Bowl was also very tasty. We are already looking forward to our next visit here!

I went to this lounge bar for the first time on Sunday for an aperitif. It was full of people but still the kind waiter found us a seat near others. I took two Franciacortas with some good appetizers. Fair price. I will go back again.

It's now my second home. From the breakfast with delicious croissants, to the super pinsas, the aperitif with olives, chips etc. For dinner with a good risotto or polenta and mushrooms. Furnished with good taste both inside and out. In short, you absolutely must go there.
