Mosaic in Crans-Montana

A great experience. We came as a couple and we were able to taste delicious dishes. The meat was really delicious and cooked to perfection, the vegetables and the homemade fries were also delicious and complemented the dish perfectly. The atmosphere with the open kitchen is really very pleasant and the overall environment is just as pleasant. If I could have given 6 for the kitchen I would have done so without hesitation. Thank you very much 👍🏻

Very disappointed ! The lobster spaghetti was really tasteless! No interest ! I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter but no one cares! Scandal !

Its a nice restaurant, I had wagyu and lobster 🦞 pasta 😋, nice experience but its expensive.

After an extremely long wait, our main course arrived and was completely cold. Actually there was already parmiggiano in the pasta, it felt like it was taken from another table and handed to us. They also forgot about „special“ wishes (no grains on salad).

Modern restaurant, for which we are happy to travel a little further. The food has always met our taste perfectly, the menu selection is exclusive, the preparation in the open show kitchen is impressive and entertaining. We like restaurants with a high level of transparency and can highly recommend Mosaic for both a casual lunch and an atmospheric dinner. As a couple you feel very well looked after.

Deplorable reception. Caesar salad to avoid because too much bread, no sauce, overcooked chicken escalope. Pork ribs not too bad, salad without sauce. In short, we're not rabbits. On the other hand, the bill is very steep for the poor quality of the products. I do not recommend this establishment.

Good food when it eventually arrives and if it is the correct temperature (not cold). I enjoyed it but they are not well organised.

The food was absolutely top! However, the operation leaves a lot to be desired. We had six different waiters in one evening, but unfortunately only one of them was great. The rest were inattentive and not very professional. The food was taken away from me before I was even fully finished. Apart from that, we spent a wonderful evening there.

Very bad experience. The staff does not listen to customer requests. I repeated 4 times to the (Italian) waiters please no butter and cheese in my dishes. I ordered onion soup and they brought it to me with cheese toast. I sent it back and after 4 minutes the same soup came back with the oily residues of cheese.....in short they removed the crouton and brought back the same soup as if I were stupid.... I pretended nothing happened and ate it for the sake of living. I'm waiting for the mushroom rice and a plate of mushroom rice drowned in cheese arrives. I sent it back and they brought me another one.....this time the rice was overcooked and drowned in oil. I asked for the bill and they ignored me for 10 min. An ignorant and rude waitress pretended nothing happened..... Really rude.......it would be better if she went to pick vegetables in a field rather than serve in a restaurant!!! I explained that I no longer intend to return to this restaurant. A waiter who had always been very kind to me replied, it doesn't matter..... Evidently in this tourist place they are too rich and can afford to relate to the public like this. I don't recommend this place.

We order a foie gras as a starter, 20 minutes after ordering, we are warned that the foie gras will be fried, we keep it all the same, imagine our amazement when, finally, we receive two small slices of foie gras. pan-fried spread... Then, main course, "chef's specialty", tartare with black truffles; no weight, a common piece of tartare without seasoning with three shavings of truffles on top. We wondered why we hadn't been made to taste the meat before. In addition, the toast had to be sent back twice because it was charred. In short, by far the most mediocre tartare we have ever tasted, and that for the modest sum of 60.- per plate. It is also useful to remember that some servers do not speak or understand French or English. We still give two stars for the sympathy of a waiter who seemed to understand our distress and made us understand that we were not the first. In short, a tourist trap. To flee

Good food, unfortunately I ordered truffle gnocchi and there were 9 gnocchi for 46.-, it seems to me that this is completely exaggerated

The Mosaic has established itself as a sure bet in Montana. Super friendly service (not always the case in Crans Montana). Beautiful cuisine, excellent and competitive dish of the day!

Big disappointment... When you see a traditional tartare on the menu for 42 CHF, you expect a dish worthy of this name and this price. On the other hand, you receive on your plate a small misshapen tartare with tough, poorly cut meat which is also not spicy. It was the worst tartare I have eaten in my life. The fries accompanying this one were, however, good, the only element of the dish that was of quality and had taste. Indeed, the dessert wasn't good either. The three layers of the raspberry and matcha mille-feuille that you take for dessert to try to keep a good memory of this restaurant are burnt here and there... It looks like the layers of puff pastry have been reheated in the oven and forgotten... I have rarely felt so sorry about spending money in a restaurant.

Located in Montana near the cable cars and the large parking lot, this restaurant certainly has its advantages but above all it offers quality and very tasty cuisine. The terrace is well exposed and you can have a pleasant lunch or dinner there. The decor is elegant as well as the service and welcome. To discover !!!

Very good restaurant, we ate very well, super friendly waitresses. The open kitchen is great, I love this concept. Entrecote on stove, the meat was excellent! The fries are delicious! And dessert too. Small problem, no changing table or place to change baby.

Great pasta dishes, particularly enjoyed the mushroom pasta fish. Nice spacious terrace and friendly service. Dessert was okay.

Avec la crise sanitaire, nous avons manger à l’extérieur, bon produits et service rapide , un peu chère qualité prix , mais pour Montana et la situation c’est raisonnable, dommage de manger dans barquettes , mais très bonne adresse

Accueil parfait, le personnel est souriant et très accueillant. Le patron présent tout au long de la soirée s’occupe et prend du temps pour chacune de ses convives. La nourriture est très raffinée, gourmande et la carte présente des plats pour tout le monde sans être trop grandes. Les cuisines ouvertes donnent une vision du travail de l’équipe du chef. Super côte de bœuf ainsi que l'entrecôte avec sa sauce café de paris ! Servi avec un réchaud pour le plus grand plaisir des indécis entre saignant et à point.

Au niveau du repas : spare ribs je conseille très bon. Le foie gras rien d’extraordinaire. La présentation des plats peut mieux faire. Le vin était bon sans plus. Au niveau du service et de l’accueil cela ne me donne pas envie de revenir... pour l’anecdote: on nous apporte une corbeille de pain (pas de pain comme dans certains restaurants en période de covid19 emballés individuellement) et surprise dans notre corbeille du pain déjà utilisé et croqué, mâchouillé par le client précédent (photos à l’appui) sur ce le responsable s’excuse et on nous dit que c’est le risque de sortir au restaurant ???? Et au moment de régler même pas l’ombre d’un geste commercial sur l’addition (ce qui n’aurait rien changé à cette faute grave) en plus un employé de cuisine avec son masque sous le menton durant tout le service !!! Et après on respecte les mesures basiques d’hygiène permettez moi d’en rire

What can I say: we reserved a table for two at the front... no room. We were told that it was only for the large tables... they put us at a table in the passage then moved us to the back it is true to a very nice location. Good wine, excellent spars ribs, average foie gras. On the other hand, during the covid19 period: someone brings me a basket, I eat a slice which I find a little dry, I look for another and there I discover old slices of nibbled bread started in the basket 🤢 already in certain restaurants the bread is individually which they don't do... but mix the bread from the other tables together and the one that has been eaten 🤮 I call the management and I get angry: the gentleman tells me that it's a risk to take when coming at the restaurant 😟 and he apologizes if I'm not happy I can leave! Not even a free coffee or a glass of wine!!! In addition open kitchen and staff with the mask under the chin really very Covid-19 friendly

Had dinner there yesterday. Corona regulations and distances were ignored in order to achieve greater sales. If legal requirements are not adhered to and guests are exposed to increased risk, closing this restaurant would not be wrong. The service was stressed and unfriendly. The forced Corona break could have been used as staff training. The food wasn't enjoyable. The spare ribs were fried black and the serving of the food was not a feast for the eyes. Conclusion: a lot of money, no joy, unfriendly. Not recommended. Cook at home or eat somewhere else.

Had dinner with my family. The service was very unfriendly and stressed. My son had a drink spilled on his pants, no apology and no new drink. The food was not satisfactory. The meat was over fried and the rice was watery. At the end we had to wait about 10 minutes for the sugar for our espresso. No receipt was given when paying with an EC card. Under these conditions, this restaurant is not recommended and not worth the money.

Among the best restaurants in Crans Montana. Excellent meats, carefully prepared dishes and excellent room service. Fair prices considering you are in Switzerland. I highly recommend! An obligatory stop for anyone spending a holiday in Valais

5 stars for super service and friendliness. An extra star for the delicious food, generous portions, and they were very accommodating to sub spätzli (gluten) with non-gluten (quinoa). They created a new dish for me! Hats off to the team and heartfelt thanks!

Très joli restaurant, carte courte et bonne, excellente chasse et burger. Frites topissimes! Peu de monde au service donc un peu de lenteur. Mais une valeur sûre !!

Nous sommes arrivés avec 15 minutes de retard alors que nous avions réservé pour 21h30. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes fait agressés par la serveuse, qui nous annonce que la cuisine a fermé à 21h30 et que nous pouvions nous en aller... Lors de notre réservation, nous avions expressément demandé quelles étaient les heures de service, ce à quoi on nous a répondu qu’il n’y en avait pas. Nous ne comprenons même pas qu’on ait accepté de prendre notre réservation à 21:30 si la cuisine ferme à cette heure-ci et que le restaurant ferme une heure plus tard.. Ce soir là, non seulement nous n’avons pas pu manger, mais nous avons en plus eu droit à un accueil exécrable. Une façon de parler extrêmement désagréable, un grand manque de respect. Nous ne comprenons toujours pas ce qui nous a valu cet accueil. Nous aimions la cuisine de ce restaurant mais nous n’y retournerons plus jamais.

Dommage que le service n'ai pas été a la hauteur de la qualité des plats ce soir là. Nous avons attendu a boire pendant tout le dîner, puis le pain le sel puis pour payer car nous avons renoncer à prendre un dessert etc... le personnel paraît beaucoup entre eux derrière le comptoir sans jeter un œil à la salle, pas habitué à une tel attitude de service en Suisse.

Welcoming establishment with a warm wooded design. Venison saddle, excellent meat. Traditional accompaniments, good but nothing exceptional. The Spätsles were too greasy and tough. Damage.

We actually wanted to eat and drink something outside on the terrace on September 2nd, 2020, but after the wine came, nothing came for a while until I went in after almost 20 minutes to pay! It's a real shame that the service (who hardly had anything to do) didn't even come by outside for a moment! When I mentioned this to the man (with tattoos) there wasn't even an apology!

No teníamos reserva, pero nos las arreglamos para conseguir una mesa exterior aquí para el almuerzo en un domingo extremadamente caluroso. El servicio fue muy bueno y, a pesar de que era un día en el que todo el mundo estaba plagado de avispas, en todas partes disfrutamos inmensamente de nuestra comida. Comí mejillones, eran excelentes. Los niños tenían pasta que fue bien y mi esposo tenía una especie de tazón pokey. . . todo se consideró asombroso. Se veía genial por dentro si alguna vez volvemos en invierno. El servicio se destacó para mí.

Locale pieno.senza prenotazione ci hanno fatto accomodare subito in un tavolo vicino alla cucina che è aperta sulla sala.con noi anche la nostra bimba in passeggino.io ho ordinato un filetto e mio marito la tartare.porzioni abbondanti e ottime.patatine fatte in casa e salsa per il filetto ai funghi davvero squisita!!in quanto siamo 2 golosi ci siamo ordinati anche 2 dolci.1 torta alle albicocche e la più buona cheescaKe che abbiamo mai mangiato!!!complI menti agli chef!e complimenti anche ai camerieri che nonostante il pienone riuscivano tra una corsa e un altra a fare 2 battute .prezzi ovviamente da crans montana

Siamo passati ieri sera e c'era la musica sulla terrazza così abbiamo preso un aperitivo, e visto la bella location ci siamo fermati per cena. Tutto veramente buono e porzioni obbondanti. Lo consiglio

Siamo stati a cena io e la mia ragazza. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene entrambi. Servizio gentile e disponibile.Io ho mangiato la tartare di manzo molto buona e bilanciata e poi una tagliata di porco iberico che si scioglieva in bocca.Concluso con cheesecake ottimo. La prossima volta che torno a Montana tornerò sicuramente qui a mangiare.

Très bon accueil et service. Terrasse cosy et bien placée. Mosaic propose une carte avec beaucoup de choix, nous avons aussi pris des cocktails qui étaient délicieux. J’ai testé l’entrecôte, la cuisson était parfaite et la présentation originale. Et je recommande fortement le moelleux au chocolat en dessert, un délice. Bref nous avons passé une excellente soirée !

Das Restaurant wurde uns von Freunden empfohlen. Wir mussten mehrere Male nachfragen um Kindersitze zu bekommen (3 Kinder dabei). Das Personal nahm kurz die Bestellung auf, wir waren noch nicht fertig, ging gie Dame bereits weiter. Was uns senr gestört hat, war die unfreundlichkeit&die saftigen Preise! Der eine Burger war bereits kalt beim servieren. Es war früh abends, also keine Entschdigung, denn es hatte fast keine Gäste! Schade

Réservé pour deux. A peine commandé, nous n’avons pas eu le temps de commencer l’entrée que les plats étaient déjà servis alors que nos voisins ont eux attendus près d’une heure leur premier plat. Dessert: commande d’un café gourmand et nous en recevons deux, le serveur repart avec le tout puis revient avec ce dernier mais sans le café.... Cuisine toutefois très bonne, surtout le tataki de thon. Nous recommandons ce lieu mais pas aux heures de pointe, le staff ne semble pas très bien organisé et ne parle pas toujours l’anglais ni le français.

Location au top, nourriture au top, service au top, bref une super adresse... Restaurant autant idéal pour une famille que pour un couple. A tester !

Ristorante situato nel centro di Crans Montana. Personale molto cordiale e piacevole. Menù non molto variegato, ma le pietanze sono state preparate e presentate in modo eccellente. Vi consiglio di bere il Merlot vallesano, è sublime! Il prezzo per noi comuni mortali è un po’ altino, ma è comunque in linea con la zona. Penso che, nonostante ciò, torneremo!

Tout est fait pour présager un bon moment. La décoration est soignée, le cadre cosy.La réservation n'a pas été notifiée et avec un manque de classe jamais vu, la serveuse contrôle et recontrôle en nous laissant poireauter debout pour finalement nous laisser 3 tables à choix.Le risotto est très bon mais vraiment al dente crudo... Quant au hamburger boeuf wagyu à 56chf la qualité de la viande ne suit vraiment pas le prix. Nous n'y retournerons pas malheureusement.
