Nice atmosphere and well located, service friendly. Compared to the Bijou in Wettingen, the food is more of a mixture of bakery and McDonald's, the jams from the large manufacturer and the omelette made from powdered eggs.

Great bakery with friendly staff. It's worth stopping here just for the Baden stones. I'd love to come back.

Best chocolate croissants in Switzerland. I've already tested many. Incredibly crispy and fresh on the outside and an incredibly creamy, soft and fine chocolate cream filling on the inside. Especially great in the morning.

Omelette had absolutely no taste.

Operation/service - bad Not likeable

We came today to Moser’s in Baden main town to have a coffee and cake with my husband, the table was very dirty there was a glass with soda and no one came to clean the table, my husband went to ask them to clean the table, and instead they gave my husband a towel to clean it up, he had to clean the table and and take the dirty glass to the stuff. No one care and the staff where very unfriendly with us. The coffee shop were once very good and clean but now it’s very bad and dirty all over. Besides they gave us the coffee in a carton glass instead of a cup. We aren’t coming back again to this place. The dirty towel that they gave to my husband they have it in the front desk, they didn’t took it inside to where it belongs.

I'm wondering if your counter staff would like to sell anything? The staff often have their backs turned to the guests and don't even notice when you want to order something.

Was there today January 3rd at around 3:15-30 p.m. and wanted coffee and a dessert at the front counter at the entrance. The employee told me to order from the other counter where the coffee machines are. I did that and the waitress was incredibly unfriendly, it's a shame I couldn't read her name. A woman with brown hair tied in a braid. She was upset that I wanted to order dessert from her at the coffee machine counter even though the other person sent me to her. It's not my problem if the staff can't communicate and is stressed then you don't have to speak so rudely to the customers and be annoyed. Normally I wouldn't write a review because of something like that but the way she talked to me doesn't work at all!!!!! She probably took the right to speak to me like that because I'm young. You should have respect for everyone, not just the older ones. Bottom drawer of this service. If I see this employee again, I'll give it a wide berth, even though I've lost the desire to visit this restaurant again after this event.

A cafe in the center of Baden, very tastefully decorated, a variety of sweet and savory pastries, good service from the staff. I didn't like the coffee at all, nor did the soy milk.

Fine brunch with delicious breads.

Perfect for a quick coffee at the bar or a chat at the table. Open, large windows with a view of Schlossbergplatz. In the middle of the city. Large selection of bread and baked goods.

The service is not really friendly, the advice has to be described as incompetent. The lady didn't know what she was selling.

When I have the time, I enjoy a little something here. More like at the counter. Unfortunately, the café is often very full. The service is then at its limit.

(Review based on the Sunday brunch offered) Overall, an alright buffet style brunch, with a very limited variety of food offered. The staff was very nice, but barely present; even though the place was far from full. The food tasted quite nice, but sadly, as stated previously the selection was quite limited and the buffet was never refilled properly (for some things you had to wait quite a bit), which is quite a shame considering the 30+ price range of the brunch. (In addition, I personally didn’t aprichiate that they only offer 1dl glasses for the drinks.)

Have been to Mosers several times. Products are seasonally coordinated, which I think is good. Products are not labeled and if you label it incorrectly you will be insulted. Sorry, not everyone knows what the creations are called. But prices are very high because you have to queue yourself. I still don't understand the concept to this day with orders from what feels like 1000 locations. Coziness and cleanliness is definitely something else. Unfortunately.

Beautiful space and location. Very bad service, some parts are self service others are not, people sit outside waiting for ages as waiters serve the right but not the left, ridiculous. Inside you must wait in line for food then for coffee separately. If you are alone with a child is it impossible. The food and drinks are fine, but I can’t get past the service. I hope the concept changes as it is a lovely location.

The food was quite good. The coffee was okay. The ambience was nice but very open and correspondingly loud. The service was not objectionable. There were just a lot of flies that were a bit annoying. All in all, I would go again.

We just stopped for a coffee break. The service was friendly and accommodating. Since we only took drinks, we only marginally experienced having to queue twice (once for cake etc. and once for coffee etc.). I really find that a bit tedious. Since it is self-service, the tables are not always cleared by guests. An employee rushes through at long intervals and clears away, but it's not nice to sit at a table where the previous person's leftover cake can still be found. A little initiative from the guests would be desirable here.

Were there on a Saturday. Although it was very well attended, unfortunately I still have to criticize the service as it had enough staff. First ordered at the counter, we had to order the coffee separately at the table. Waited 10 minutes to take the order. Then waited 10 minutes for coffee and asked again. Latte Machiatto and hot chocolate no longer arrived warm. We then had to wait forever to pay. The ambience and location are nice. But there are better competitors in the surrounding area where we prefer. A pity

I generally really enjoy going to Mosers. The selection of dishes is very nice and very fine. The restaurant is currently self-service, which I don't appreciate at all. If I want self-service, I go to Migros or Manor. The order at the bar didn't work on the first attempt either.

Bought two lemon tartlets and a sandwich to take away and received the patisserie in a paper bag... and this is what it looked like at home (see photo). Another employee watched the whole thing and didn't object, and last but not least, my waitress didn't know what to type at the cash register. Lousy service, untrained and generally unworldly staff, and I wonder why you pay people like that wages. If I come back, it will only be to test whether the store is still as bad!

The waitress at the counter (older woman) very rudely sent us to the other counter because we didn't immediately understand where we had to pay and order. We didn't even say anything and were actually still choosing (we just wanted to see if we could get something sweet from the theme or an ice cream...) I have never experienced the expression on her face, her choice of words and the way she treated us in a service restaurant where the paying customer should be the priority. We then left our things behind and went to a coffee shop where our visit was appreciated. We then informed the friendly woman outside who opened the parasol for us and prepared the space about the very unfriendly conditions and said that we didn't want to stay like that, she seemed as if she regretted the incident. Sorry but you'll never see us again! We then found a very motivated, friendly team from the competition, with whom we were able to enjoy our afternoon. After the incident, it is also clear to me why their restaurant was practically empty on a sunny, beautiful day, and otherwise there was hardly a table left in the whole of Baden. As you can see from the other reviews, this doesn't seem to be an isolated case, but a known problem!

Ordered a hot panini from a bakery and got some fake rubbery bread, seriously? And this at a steep price... The only positive thing was the salami, because the cheese was just a tasteless processed cheese. Once, never again :)

Baked goods mediocre. Getting bread rolls and paying in one place, getting coffee and paying in another place, it's so complicated.

The café is located in the heart of Baden's old town in a prime location for pedestrians. It's nice that you can sit here both inside and outside on the busy Schlossbergplatz. A cozy place to watch the people of Baden strolling around.

Staff was nice, breakfast buffet looked good, but was very expensive, so we ordered a smaller breakfast. Was delicious.

Unprofessional service at the counter and in the restaurant area. Spanish bread rolls marked with 2 prices. In the house CHF 3.20, otherwise 3.70. We ordered to eat in the house. We were charged 3.70, when I asked why they said the prices had changed. Is this a joke?! Of course we didn't receive the money. Ordered two coffees, 1x Cafe Creme and 1x decaffeinated coffee with milk. The waitress didn't know whether it was caffeine-free or not and simply said that it was. Since she was so unsure, I asked again and when she finally clarified, I got the right one. I really have to say great service. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

I'm amazed at the bad comments people make here🤷‍♀️We finally have to stand by employees👍👍 We are there occasionally. The house is always full What we observe is that there are no more guests...guests who are impatient, shout HELLOOO loudly for service and some guests simply sit at the table where there are still dishes on the table from the guests who have left and give the order to clear away, It has other clean tables! And the guests only watch the staff strangely 😅 People behave like people and teach you to be a guest....The employees serve 100 different guests from different cultures and are running and doing things non-stop.... After Corona we must finally have learned????

Reluctantly returned after a couple of years. The good: Pastry was still fresh late in the afternoon. However, I assume staff is being treated poorly, it shows in their service. Nothing changed here.

The cafe in the center of Baden is full almost every day. Finding a seat at the tables outside in nice weather is a matter of luck. Although the interior is spacious, it has a cramped seating plan. You can taste sweet or salty patisserie products alongside your coffee. Access to the seating area in the building, which has a suitable entrance for disabled people, is difficult.

We weren't happy today. The empty cups are not put away. There was a lot going on at the beginning, so we understand that, but 40 minutes later they still hadn't been put away and the shop was empty! The table we were given was dirty and hadn't been cleaned over time. The coffee is average. The service was okay.

Liquid yoghurt birch muesli with some flakes in it, without fruit, without fresh cream, I would like to give the kitchen instructions on how to make a fine birch muesli! Only the price was great! The omelette was flowing in the plate, maybe bad eggs or had been mixed with water? The service was irritable and unfriendly! I paid 30 francs for a “Frass” in good Swiss German! Moser Cafe WAS once good, but unfortunately not anymore, unfortunately! Because of the location I had a hot chocolate on 12/30/22. Mosers Backparadis absolutely saves on staff. First there was a very long queue until we could get the hot chocolates ourselves at a high price. Afterwards all the tables were full of empty cups and dirty. Just bad. It was never like that before.

Staff may need barista training. It wasn't a cappuccino, but some kind of watery latte. 10 francs for something like that? I don't recommend. The person who served us was not friendly.

Delicious products, good location. Unusual self-service concept for non-residents with various cash registers for cakes and coffee. In my case and in this exact situation, the friendliness of the staff conveyed to me... Go away! and don't enjoy your coffee. I would still drink a coffee there again and enjoy the view of the promenade.

Very nice cafe with an impressive variety of dishes for breakfast and launch, but also tons of sweets. The coffee was ok and so was the croissant. Outside there's a nice table setting in the open, allowing to enjoy the scenic piazza as it sits on its crossroad.

I live right next door, I would love to shop with you. Unfortunately, I have a gluten and milk protein intolerance and you don't have any gluten-free bread/sandwiches on offer... the only bread that tastes good is sold by a nice gentleman at the market every Saturday morning. I would buy bread from you so often :(

Purchased on Sunday afternoon July 3rd, 2022 2 cream slices to take home. Unfortunately, shortly after the distortion, unpleasant feelings in the stomach area became noticeable. Either the pastry was not fresh or had been defrosted.

Luckily I changed my place of work and now it's not a Moser's branch but Bachmann next door. Finally good, fine sandwiches and salads at fair prices. The opposite of Mosers's! Bad sandwiches and salads at exorbitant prices! This is Moser's!

Best place for your weekend coffee located in the heart of Baden with the beautiful view to the Baden Tower and Schloss Stein / Ruine Stein ❤️❤️❤️ They offer a great patisserie choice🥰 As well as fresh pressed juices, coffee ☕️ and drinks. You can start with a coffee , have a light breakfast with a croissant or move to brunch with different tasty things. Polish with Prosecco and have a great weekend! 👌❤️

I love the Baden stones! For me it's always a must when I'm in Baden. The version with Baileys is simply a dream! The staff is always in a good mood and friendly.

Not what it used to be :-( but still popular thanks to the good location. Fresh salads are only available pre-packaged. Self-service: First you queue for the food and then you queue on the other side for the drinks. With With some luck the food will still be warm by then :-/

Sunday brunch, the offer was moderate

We were there on Sunday. Lots of people, very, very loud. Distance not possible at all. So not recommended!

Place was crowded without enough separation between tables and with waitress wearing the mask below her nose. Poor service. With main courses already served it took more than 20 minutes to bring the drinks.

I was standing in line at the right-hand sweet pastry counter; a woman in front was already being served. Now, for the first time, other things have been taken care of, such as cleaning the wash basins or other things have been done. But there was no one after me, so these things could have been done afterwards! Incomprehensible and this at a train station where people have to get on the train to continue their journey!!!! If I, as a German, were to work like this here, if I did something like that as an employee, I would be fired after the second time!!!

Very good coffee with a bakery. Large indoor and outdoor area with enough seating. Very good selection of products that have nothing to do with the often outdated baked goods from other bakeries.

Friendly... I ordered a piece of warm savory cake which was handed to me in an inconveniently high place instead of at the counter. Unfortunately the hot piece slipped out of the waiter's hands, I caught it and burned my fingers. The piece then looked accordingly. I was told I would receive another one. What I got looked somehow "repaired"...

Very good bäckerei BUT quiet expensive, since Covid no more server and prices are unchanged. The difference is now you have to do the queue for the drinks, then the queue for the patisseries and you are supposed to clean your table after while before Covid they were using 3 servers.....Fair??
