Very good and tasty food, I recommend the Nachos and the Flammkuchen but the very best, the service provided by Ates. Many thanks Ates for making us feel being at a five stars restaurant!

Great dessert menu. Great dessert. There was a lot going on on Sunday. The place is big, but was well filled. The guests also had a warm meal at 2:30 p.m.

I tried to order a cappuccino 12 times and it was never served... strange 🤭🦆

There is little left of the old Mövenpick reputation. The somewhat loveless atmosphere doesn't invite you to linger for long. The quality is sometimes like that and sometimes like that. The service is mostly friendly, but there are very grumpy employees. Actually, this place deserved something better. We can only hope that an effort will be made soon and that people will be happy to visit the restaurant again from time to time

I've been to Mövenpick every now and then... unfortunately the last two times I didn't have a good experience. We were there for lunch yesterday around 4pm and we will avoid the restaurant in the future. The first shock was when I went to the toilet with our son! Toilet paper everywhere on the floor every toilet there was so dirty that our 4 year old son even said it was dirty. The soap dispenser was broken and was lying dismantled on the edge of the wash basin etc. Really very bad. The service was very unfriendly, we had to ask for a new glass twice because the glass was dirty. After repeatedly bringing dirty glasses, we drank from the bottle. Overall, the inventory is grubby and worn. The glasses are extremely scratched and the placemats are worn out. The food scissors that are intended for cutting the tarte flambée fell apart when I tried to pick them up. The food was ok - good, but I've had stomach cramps since yesterday😅 It's a real shame, unfortunately we won't be coming anymore!

The chicken wings were so heavenly that I almost got wings myself. Perfect seasoning, crispy-tender meat – a hit! Absolute recommendation!

It's been one of my favourite stops to grab a quick bite. Good variety of food, desserts are yummmm and the staff friendly.

Excellent tartare and fine ice cream. The homemade iced tea also tastes great and is not too sweet. Very friendly and efficient service, even though every table was occupied on Saturday evening.

Holdrio is available here as a concentrate. It's a total shame, the original is much better, rose hip tea and plum schnapps. It says so on the map, but unfortunately no!!! Cheap concentrate doesn't work at all

With 17 people, we decided very quickly to organize a 50th birthday as a surprise party. It couldn't be more customer and hospitable, it was so cool with the highest service mentality and enabling attitude, uncomplicated and pragmatic, top service and the food was great as always. Pork cordon Bleu : hard, inedible , only the batter could be nibbled at. Service : rude. We went as part of a tour group . We walked out to eat elsewhere.

The waiters were taking us for fools! And were racist saying ni hao to us when we are not even Chinese but only Asian looking people ! In addition to that, the next day half of the kids ended up throwing up all day. Figured out that it was the chicken that intoxicated us be careful… the prices are OUTRAGEOUS 30-CHF. For chicken salad ??? For food that is as good as French school food??? Crazy places owned by crazy people for a CRAZY place. Overall I am being nice giving a single star.

We went to this restaurant during the Christmas holidays, most of the people who had chickeria chicken got food poisoning (with vomiting and diarrhea). In addition, I do not recommend the restaurant which offers low quality dishes with exorbitant prices.

Tatar a discretion every Wednesday - highly recommended 👍😋👍 For Fr. 49.- you get a welcome glass of Prosecco and nachos with tomato tip. Then a trio of tartare - beef, salmon and avocado. If you would like more, you can order a second helping. The tartare was very nicely prepared and extremely tasty. Last but not least, we were able to choose a ball from the various Mövenpick ice creams on the menu. The service was friendly and attentive. I give 4 points for the ambience because it was a little too loud in the restaurant for me.

Had a horrible experience. My mum and I stopped for an ice cream. The server serving us was extremely rude and made a racist comment on us when we simply asked her an extra spoon. My mother was left nearly in tears. Truly horrible this happens in a country that survives on our tourist money.

We had the all you can eat chicken, the food was very good but the staff left something to be desired (a woman) Always unmotivated unfortunately... maybe it was just an unfortunate day for them but we didn't feel welcome. (house sauce very fine)

The afternoon starts very well, a table by the window with a view of the tunnel...what more could you want? The staff was very friendly and accommodating until the second time we ordered fine fried potato slices. But then it started and the tide turned! On the third reorder the behavior became very cheeky and obviously unmotivated. NOT VERY INVITING! I thought the customer was king, but unfortunately that's not possible here. We were hissed at as if by a wild 🦡. I think it's a shame how well 🇨🇭 - bourgeois Mövenpick has changed, but with this price development it could only end like this. Next time I'll think twice about bringing chicken wings to your discretion.

Hot meals. Child-friendly, quick, friendly service.

We often come to eat at the Mövenpick Restaurant in Lucerne. The food is fresh and well prepared. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is good. The tables are almost always not completely clean. Sometimes it happens that the chicken wings are dry or cold, hence 4/5. Despite the two drawbacks, we still enjoy coming to eat with you. PS: The desserts are very good!

The customer service is very poor, the staff are rude with poor people skills. Overall with basic food and appalling customer skills I would highly recommend to go elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

Best ice cream ever - The Caramalita is exceptional. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness is an issue with food on the floor and and chairs. They need to have one extra person to clean.

We tasted the Swiss “boudin blanc” which is not blood sausage but a veal sausage seasoned with a tomato coulis.

- Great chicken wings with normal seasoning - Tandoori chicken wings were seasoned carelessly, one of them had so much powder on it that it would have been enough for 10 pieces. - There were 5 of us, we ordered a huge portion of fries for everyone, what happened? Happy Meal has the larger portion. When ordering, you could have said they are “small” and preferred to take two/three portions -Ultra long waiting times, after the first portion of wings, no one came by. We're used to something different, supplies were constantly being brought in. -If our table wanted to be served, we actively went to the service staff and reported them or placed an order. -Took a short break, wanted to order again, “sorry, kitchen closed”, seriously? Mövenpick ice cream, one of the best anyway. Big coupes that were delicious. Next time there will be pizza 👍🏻 It's a real shame, our favorite place to meet friends has now become "let's look for something else"

The coffee drinks were an average performance. However, the food was very tasty. We had a large sundae of hot berry ice cream and apple strudel with vanilla sauce. The tarte flambées at the next table also looked great! Service was very busy and made us wait forever, it didn't hurt to wipe the tables once.

You really get the best ice cream in Lucerne here. I LOVE the Blueberry Cheesecake Sundae and the Plum Sundae, we always order these sundaes when we are there. Service is very nice and they prices are affordable.

I ordered an ice cream shake. It came quickly and tasted good. Unfortunately, I expected more from earlier. Mövenpick was ultimately the brand par excellence. The tables are covered with dingy placemats. The shake glass is served just as spartanly as shown on the menu. I was simply missing a saucer or at least a mini napkin. Half a fruit wedge or a mini biscuit would be quite difficult to handle. I found it minimalist and rather joyless. The portion is small. The service works, I didn't need anything else.

Average experience at best. Whilst location is very good, and food ok, place was rather dirty (breadcrumbs allover floor and tables) and service was particularly bad. Ordered some sandwiches and caffee + kuchen. After having asked for menus and ended up picking them up myself, took an eternity to order, and at the end took an eternity to pay. Felt like we disturbed our waitress, so rather awkward...after ordering though, the food delivery was rather fast, and done by the cook himself... Mixed feelings about the place... Could be good, but unfortunately it's just average. Would look for something else while in the area...

I used to eat here many times in my childhood. It has always been a very family-friendly company. Now that I'm an adult, I've been eating here regularly for years. But today I was just stunned by what was going on here. 10 mins!! Waiting time at 3 p.m. until we were served. It really didn't have many people. The tables on the terrace were all dirty. Floor also dirty. Yuck. I don't know anything like that about you :-( The food was sensational as usual (that was the only long-time employee I recognized). Sorry, where have all the good and friendly waiters gone? We also had to wait 10-15 minutes before we could pay. It doesn't work at this time of day. -I also found the toilets rather dingy and in general the whole thing has nothing to do with Mövenpick. -Children's corners were also removed -Children's chairs shake just when you look at them. -For the price I expect a clean place and better service. The food is top. Please please do something about the service and cleaning staff!!

Chicken pasta is not salty and even Japanese people can eat it. The presentation is sloppy and the food is sticking out of the plate. (I rearranged the photo to make it look better)

I 100% would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you want to experience racist and rude service. My group and I experienced extremely bad service here that were possibly racially motivated, with staff waiters openly gossiping about us in German, thinking we did not understand them. In one instance, a waiter (blonde girl) straight up told us ‘your English is terrible’, because we were speaking in mandarin and misheard her in English earlier. We felt extremely uncomfortable dining here, which should not be the case. This is completely unacceptable and we are appalled to have received such treatment. We would highly encourage management to conduct proper training to ensure that such future incidences do not happen. We visited this establishment on 11 July 2023, between 2-3 pm, and have photos of the racist server in question, and will be happy to follow-up and share the photo if management would like to follow up with me.

I am a touring coach driver. I came with my group of 35 people, we were poorly received, with lousy service and a canteen meal….to definitely forget for the next tours of Switzerland

The ice cream was good, but the service was very unfriendly and unprofessional. Taking a cream that has been sitting on a plate in the display case all day simply can't taste good...once and never again...

Went for ice cream in the evening. The service was terrible and so were the ice cream sundaes. The cream was not fresh and was taken out of the display case. A pity. Not a good image for Mövenpick.

Suggest to dine elsewhere (especially tourist). Service was very weak and the entourage of waitresses looked fairly disinterested to work there. No one came to serve and we had to walk in looking lost. Also took us forever to get their attention to place our orders. Was asked to leave a tip and when declined (for obvious reasons because no one should be encouraging such dismay service standard), I was told it was rude not to do so. Waitress turned passive aggresive and flicked the receipt on my table. Guess what, your tip is still not happening. Tips are not obligatory in Switzerland - please do not treat tourist this way, that's definitely not the way to showcase the swiss culture. Food was edible if it is of any redemption.

The food came very quickly and we enjoyed it. The staff was friendly.

Welcome was disastrous. The waitress didn't even look at us until I asked if there was room for two to eat. If I hadn't said anything, the young lady would have continued and ignored us, even though she was hesitant - in the end she waited until we said something. First impression was really very unpleasant. The employees also seemed to me to be hardly motivated and relatively unsympathetic - except for one man (dressed differently, wearing a dark shirt). The food was quite okay. The tarte flambée was delicious and a great experience with the scissors! But pretty dry. The small salad scored well in terms of price/performance ratio. The Italian sauce was bland. The bread with the salad also looked sad; fatty pieces and laid out emotionless on a regular plate. The Hugo I had is not recommended. It's a shame they didn't give us the drinks menu and we didn't ask for it either; Because we wanted to order quickly and the service staff took the order quickly. Ambience was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Although the kitchen was open, it didn't really come into its own. 110.- for two people (2x Hugo, 2x small salads, 1x classic tarte flambée, 1x sweet chilli wok, 1x 5dl water)

We experience this restaurant when in a tour to the RIGI MOUNTAIN ar the city of Lucerne, this was a great meal, we ask for the famous fried chicken wings spicy with fries. And we did drink a red wine for the meal tasting. The waitresses were so friendly and dynamic. And the prices were about the average level at the hole Switzerland. I recommend.

Nice place to really enjoy different flavours and special made Movenpick ice cream and dessert. Those fruity flavour of soberts are very nice.

I traveled to Lucerne with a tour group, and the travel agency arranged to have dinner here in the evening. There were three dishes in total, including hot soup, cheese pork chop rice, and a ball of coffee and walnut-flavored ice cream. The main meal tasted ordinary, so I didn’t understand why we arranged to have a movenpick dinner. Shouldn’t the main meal here be ice cream? ! If businesses want to serve main meals, there should be room for improvement.

Completely unacceptable service, I went to this restaurant again today with one of my friends and since neither of us were particularly hungry we wanted to share chicken wings but we were told that this was forbidden and we weren't even given a decent reason why, which is why the service is 1 star because this is actually just a money-making attempt to exploit customers and not let them share a menu, the food is terrific but the service is terrible

Unfortunately, we were disappointed... For us it was always an upscale restaurant, but yesterday's was mass production! It took a while before we could order and our dirty table was cleaned by the previous person. The toilets were also dirty. Some of the staff were unfriendly and the service left a lot to be desired. When we asked what was in the homemade iced tea, they said "I have no idea"... and that was it... It also struck me that not a single Swiss worker worked there... The food is expensive, but very good and came quickly. But we also get good food in other places, the service is just as important, some of the employees need to be better trained (e.g. the tall, thin, young lady, she was unfriendly last time and seems demotivated 😉)

Unfortunately the service was nothing. They didn't want to sell us drinks, let alone pour them, not everyone was asked what they wanted to drink, the main course came at the same time as the starter, after clearing away we were ignored and were finally able to pay , we all (10 people) had to raise our hands. No “bon appetit”, “please” or “thank you” and no smile. Every empty plate was immediately cleared away, even though others were still eating. As usual, the food was very good, but overall it wasn't a pleasant experience.

I was there for dinner on November 26th, 2022 with 3 friends and everything was just right, the chicken wings à discretion for 28.95 CHF are awesome and the food came incredibly quickly, after about 10 minutes we had 2 portions of chicken wings and 2 cordon bleu with fries the table. The tables could be a little further apart, otherwise everything was great. Gladly again :)

Das beste Restaurant in Luzern wo man Riz Casmir essen kann. The best restaurant where you can eat in Luzern. Prices are a little high but all over Switzerland is expensive to eat, so I highly recommend this place with nice waitresses!

The employee assigned our seat to someone else, even though we had been waiting there for a long time and just wanted to take our seat! Incredibly cheeky!!! When asked about this, she started arguing with me instead of apologizing!

Staff is very unfriendly and impolite. You wait in vain for attentive employees and you prefer to take a break and drink coffee instead of serving guests. The tone among each other was very unfriendly, even in front of the guests. Food is OK

Food was delicious but the staff was rude and impolite. I requested to pay with card and the waitress was shouting because of the error with card machine and she forced me to go to the bank to withdraw cash in very rude behavior. Restaurant needs to train the staff to be polite

We think this restaurant deserves 5 stars. We've been there a few times now and have made a number of comparisons to other restaurants of different prices and classes. The waitresses were always friendly despite the large number of guests. Once outside there was a somewhat clumsy, unmotivated lady, but good, the best restaurant is not spared from this. Haven't you seen any more and everyone who has sense, I know how difficult it is to find good staff who present the house in a trained manner - it depends on the attitude of the person, certainly not the owner. Food very well seasoned, plentiful but most importantly it tastes very good!! The sauces for the chicken wings are simply delicious too. The wings anyway, a good home recipe and crispy on the outside!

Our request, which I made regarding the position of the table when making the online reservation (4 people and we had a small dog with us), was fulfilled; the place was perfect. A big compliment to the gentleman who served us; This is what friendly, competent service looks like; we felt very comfortable. Of course not forgetting > the kitchen! From the salad, to the main course (the chicken wings a discretion of my 3 companions, as well as my tartare gratinated with Café de Paris sauce were fantastic), wine to the dessert were simply a delight for the palate; Thank you. It wasn't our first visit to Mövenpick and definitely not the last; So I'd love to come back again :-) PS: The only really small negative point (complaints on a high level): As the number of guests increases, it gets a bit noisy (our feeling).

The good coffee is ruined by the bad working atmosphere on site! Mr. W. Should be trained again when dealing with employees, urgently!
