Waren mit einer Behinderten Gruppe zu einem Weihnachtstreffen mit Essen im Saal. Der Vorspeisensalat war so riesig, dass er als Hauptspeise zu 150% als Portion durchgeht, ich musste 1/4 zurückgehen lassen, was ich sonst nie mache. Der nachfolgende Hauptgang war genauso mächtig, den Nachservice habe ich nicht genutzt. Ich hatte schon genug, auch den Dessert schaffte ich fast nicht mehr. Fazit: sehr gute Qualität und Zubereitung, aber einfach viel zu viel.Rollstuhl Tipp: Aussenrampe mit kleinem Rolli WC für Handrollstuhlfahrer, für E Rollis zu klein.

Dieses Restaurant vermittelt eine angenehme, gutbürgerliche Atmosphäre. Auf der Karte finden sich sehr viele Speisen, die quer durch die Kulinarik und auch den Geldbeutel gehen. Preiswerte Gerichte sind allerdings nicht minderer Qualität, was schlussendlich die volle Punktzahl rechtfertigt. Der Service flott, Getränkepreise moderat und das Gesamtpaket stimmig. Einzig das gutbürgerliche Ambiente kann für manchen Besucher altbacken oder wenig einladend wirken. Verständlich, dennoch habe ich gut zu Mittag gegessen.

Vielleicht der beste Rehrücken, den ich je in einem Restaurant gegessen habe. Angenehmes, ungezwungenes Ambiente und äusserst freundliche Bedienung. Tolles Angebot mit frischen, regionalen Produkten. Preis-/Leistung ist hervorragend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein gutbürgerliches Speiserestaurant, dass wohl familiär gefüher wird. Auf der Tageskarte finden alle etwas gegen den Hunger und die Preise - Leistung stimmt. Das Mittagsbuffet à discretion kann ich empfehlen - für 23.-/Person erhält man von der Vorspeise (diverse Salate aber auch Lachs, Rohschinken, Entenbrust etc) über die Suppe zur Hauptspeise (wohl immer Fisch und Fleisch mit je 2Beilagen) soviel wie man mag. Fazit von mir: weil es sehr gut war - zuviel gegessen;-).

The food was delicious, the service was nice and very quick. There weren't many people left, but there was still a relaxed atmosphere. The whole experience has a negative rating because we were constantly bothered by wasps while we were eating. One even fell into my drink but the staff did nothing about it.

Fine restaurant with nice staff

Es befindet sich im Zentrum von Steinhausen und bietet Schweizer lokale Küche auf hohem Niveau. Im Herbst sind die Jagdgerichte mit Kürbissen usw. erhältlich. Sehr leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service.

Die Vorspeise (Kürbiscrème-Suppe mit Wildschweinstreifen als Einlage) schmeckte mir sehr gut. Auch die Hauptspeise (Rindsfilet mit Spätzli und Gemüse) war vorzüglich! Das Fleisch war ganz zart und die braune Sauce dazu einfach sehr lecker. Zum Dessert liess ich mich mit dem Fünflieber-Dessert überraschen, was ich eine ganz herzige Idee finde und genau richtig ist, wenn man noch etwas kleines Süsses zum Nachtisch mag. Die Marroni-Crème war auch fein. Fazit: Das Essen ausserordentlich fein und die Bedienung professionell und sehr höflich. Leider wirkte das Ambiente auf mich irgendwie etwas kühl, aber es muss auch nicht immer das super stylische Restaurant sein.

Das Mittagsbuffet mit Salat, kalten und warmen Speisen ist ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Ich war besonders froh, dass das Buffet die ganze Zeit über aufgefüllt war, damit man sich keine Sorgen machen muss.

Einrichtung ist etwas karg. Essen aber sehr gut. Bewirtung ist sehr familiär (Chefin). Küche ist gutbürgerlich. Tochter mag die Chickennuggets mit Pommes (was denn sonst). Immer einen guten Tagesteller zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Freundlicher Empfang und angenehme Bedienung. Wir waren am Samstag zum Mittagessen hier und auch am Samstag gibt es Mittagsmenus zu vernünftigen Preisen. Im Schnitt 24 - 28 Franken, Suppeund Salat inklusive. Die Speisen der normalem Karte befinden sich eher in der höheren Preisklasse aber entsprechen dem, was heute bezahlt werden muss. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und macht Lust auf mehr. Hier wird mit den lokalen Produkten auch was Neues probiert (Schweinsbratwurst mit Kirschensauce - total lecker), ohne dass es künstlich wirkt wie in heute mach hoch dotierten Lokalen. Wer also nach Steinhausen geht, darf hier einkehren, denn auch das Lokal selbst macht einen schönen Eindruck.

Aber.... stilles Wasser gibt man kostenlos an den Tisch, mir egal wie das Wasser heisst! Essen, Trinken und auch die Bedienung waren einwandfrei. Location ist jetzt nichts besonderes, gerne hätte ich ein "sehr gut" gegeben, aber das mit dem Wasser.. no go! (1Lt. 6 CHF)

das preiswerte Buffet kann ich nur empfehlen. Vorspeise, Suppe Hauptgang à la Diskretion und günstig.

Un restaurante para toda la familia, acogedor. Ofrece también una grande sala para fiestas , la comida muy buena y abre los Domingos que en Suiza lo más frecuente es que este todo cerrado. El servicio es protección la y simpáticos. En el verano se puede comer fuera y es muy agradable.

Gute Qualität zu vernünftigen Preisen. Sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Leider war im Restaurant starker Durchzug da die Eingangstüre offen gelassen wurde, damit das Personal auch die Rauchergäste auf der Terrasse bedienen konnte. Dadurch war es kalt im Restaurant!

Gut, der Service war freundlich. Wir hatten Abendessen draußen in der "Garten". Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist in der Stadt.

Immer wieder gerne lasse ich mich Mittags in diesem Lokal mit dem freundlichen Service verwöhnen. Es wird eine leichte Küche mit für mich angenehmen Portionen geboten (für Schwerarbeiter ev. eher etwas knapp, ich weis nicht, ob es Nachschlag gibt).Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und frisch, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend!Der Aussenbereich ist zwar an der Straße, aber mit Holz abgetrennt und geschützt. Innen wie außen wird jeweils schön dekoriert. Ich fühle mich dort gut aufgehoben und es schmeckt mir.
