The table wasn't ready when we arrived. The time management is a disaster, it took almost 2 hours from the time we ordered until the main course was served to us. Everyone has chosen a menu from the lunch menu, so it should be prepared. We then had to forego dessert as we had already overstayed our lunch time. It's a shame, there shouldn't be that much waiting time. I think the service and the kitchen were overwhelmed.

Yesterday we celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary with a motorhome dinner at the mill in Feilen. Danielo Schmid and his team really spoiled us. From the welcome glass to the final limoncello, everything was a delight for the eyes and the palate. The loving decoration and warm service rounded everything off wonderfully. We were allowed to stay overnight under the flowering trees and had fresh rolls delivered for breakfast. Hospitality is celebrated here!!

Meine Lieblings-Wohlfühlinsel in der Ostschweiz. Romantisches Interieur, herzliche Bedienung, eine sehr kreative Küche. Ein Beispiel: Zunge esse ich doch nicht..vergessen Sie das. Die fritierte Zunge, herrlich angerichtet ist einfach der Hammer. Die Weine eine Freude. Und das Ganze kann ich jetzt während Corona auch noch Take away haben, in einer Qualität, dass ich nur noch bei Daniel bestellen möchte. Die Mühle enttäuscht nie.

Wir hatten im Juli das Essen nach unserer standesamtlichen Trauung am Abend in diesem absolut tollem Lokal. Das Essen (mit ca. 24 Personen) fand neben dem Restaurant in der romantischen Scheune statt. Als wir da ankamen, waren nicht nur wir, sondern auch die Gäste völlig sprachlos. Ein langer, weiss gedeckter Banketttisch - wunderschön und liebevoll sogar mit Efeu etc. dekoriert. Jedes Detail war perfekt. Das Essen und der Service waren einfach grossartig!
