Na Village in Genève

By far, the best Thai restaurant in Geneva. Each meal is tasty and savory. I love going there because it doesn’t matter which meal I choose, il will be delicious !! I would recommend the red curry duck and the panang beef with the fried rice. The lid mangos come directly from Thailand and it does taste like heaven, melty, sweet and the perfect way to end a meal !

Magnificent experience, Asia on the plate and in the decor... A real journey

Food was okay but nothing special, and the whole experience disappointing. We arrived 15 mins later the reservation, and they told us it was too late to order the fixed menu because the kitchen was closing, pushing us to order too quickly with rush… Service was not good, I ordered a glass of wine and they brought me the glass already filled from the kitchen, while the rule should be that at least they show you the bottle and serve the wine in front of you. Finally, we didn’t like that they bring you the menu to choose from the tablet used by everyone placing them directly on top of the dishes where you have to eat after, definitely not the most hygienic. Probably a booking earlier could have changed the experience, but given everything my expectations were way higher than this being one of the most famous thai of the city.

Thai decor, excellent food with lots of taste and variety. Even the tableware has been thought out down to the smallest detail. The cocktail reception is excellent. Small negative point is that the service was very long, arriving at 12 p.m. we were served only at 1 p.m. and when I asked the waiter why the tables were served before us he told me that they said they were in a hurry except that having 5 tables go before us I don't think that's very correct, especially since we arrived 2nd in the restaurant and in the end we had to eat in 30 minutes.

Decoration is top, super nice, service is too good , display of food is also so gooood, but the food is too salty on the day of my visit, not sure if the chef is in love or having Covid that he might taste nothing. The foooood is too salty. Worth to pay for the service, decoration beside foods :(

This place is magical, we are transported to Asia in the middle of Geneva thanks to its exterior and its decoration. The dishes are delicious and spicy, even if a little expensive. Be careful when booking, you must book at least a week in advance

Got a prawn Na Village curry delivery. This had been the best part of a curry selection I had recently, so I was expecting it to be good as a single main dish, it wasn't - this time although still tasty it was less spicy, and a very small quantity, not much more than the partial dish served in the curry selection. Disappointed - won't be ordering takeaway from them again. All Geneva curry goes bland and overpriced eventually, it seems. :-(

Good experience in a nice setting.

Excellent address that I recommend to everyone. I often choose the menu because it allows you to have an interesting assortment that brings together different dishes with different flavors. The service is impeccable and the staff are incredibly friendly. Both outside and inside the decoration will make you forget that you are in Geneva.

We liked the food but the soup portions are soooo small!! I was quite shocked when I saw that little bowl. Everything we tasted was delicious, though. The service was good but it could have been a bit better. We were brought someone else´s food and communication can be a bit of an issue. The restaurant is big and beautifully decorated but a bit noisy.

Very nice traditional exterior decor, the dishes are good and nicely presented. On several occasions, we were treated to Thai dances.

With great anticipation, but unfortunately disappointed. The food doesn't taste that great for the price. I also found the service not attentive and rather dismissive. Unfortunately the menu, although on a tablet, is only available in French. No help from the staff here either. The ambience as well as the restaurant and garden are beautiful.

Very nice place and good food but unfortunately we all (4 women, 2 men) were still hungry after the 6 course menu… especially the vegetarian menu was too light!

Beautifully decorated restaurant, felt like back in Asia! Food was absolutely amazing! Cocktails were good and strong. Surprised to see deep fried banana here, we have had a lovely evening. Friends told us there’d be dance performance at night…but we didn’t see any.

Plan ahead to reserve a table. Sometimes 15 days is not enough... But the experience is definitely worth it. Dream terrace hidden in a neighborhood full of buildings whose presence we don't even suspect. Once inside, you will definitely think you are on vacation. The freshness under the bamboo, the little streams running through it... Everything is perfect. The dishes are delicately composed, full of colors and flavors. If you go in the evening, dancers take turns moving their bodies with grace and gentleness. Allow on average 18chf for a starter, 36chf for the main course. I recommend this place! Please note, the places are not suitable for people in wheelchairs. Too bad.

Mixed reviews but for our part, it went well. Excellent dishes and the mango for dessert, great. There were 10 of us and the service was good. The garden is very pleasant, a little air of Thailand.

Nice but service too long at lunchtime

I have visited around 30 restaurants in Geneva and have never seen such terrible service. I have been to this restaurant twice and each time they refused to serve me. They said they don't have enough staff. It’s pitiful! How can such a large restaurant not accommodate customers or have enough staff? I can't even rate your cooking since I didn't even have the chance to taste it. Also, during my first visit, two waiters looked at me badly. To conclude, save your money and precious time by choosing another place to dine.

Big thanks for a lovely immersive lunch in the middle of Geneva, we felt like we had just visited Thailand. There was a mixup in our order for the starter which was disappointing since I had ordered the vegetarian option. However, as a token of apology they offered us my meal and coffees on the house. The attitude and service of the waiter made up for it.

Excellent restaurant and magnificent setting. We were greeted after a few minutes of waiting delivered to us, by a waiter who shouted arrogantly at us because we looked on the book upon reservation to see if we could see ours to simplify the welcome. He approached us in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner, telling us that we were not allowed to watch. Now the book was open for all to see. We replied that it was his responsibility to close the book so that customers could not see it. He shut his mouth after that. Thank you for welcoming me like that for my birthday. Fortunately the dishes were good.

Ok so there’s a lot of hype around this place. Atmosphere & decor : 10/10 Performance : 9/10 Food : 5/10 (you’re paying for the atmosphere more than the food) Service : 3/10 (this is subjective to our waiter who was quite obnoxious.) Recommend : house curry noir with crevette - most interesting flavour on the menu.

An exceptional moment, in an exceptional setting

I reserved a traditional table, when we arrived I found the table occupied, the waiter offered us a table upstairs. The service was poor and the waitress was rude. I was really disappointed with the quality and service.

A change of scenery guaranteed, I recommend the discovery menu at a traditional table if there are 3 of you maximum. In summer the garden is magnificent, you have to book well in advance if you want to eat there.

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed by Na Village. After seeing the positive reviews, we chose to make a reservation here to end our week-long holiday in Geneva, thinking that it would a spectacular option as our last meal. We opted for the sharing menu for two people minimum, allowing for us to try several of the menu options at once rather than opting for a larger portion of just one starter and one main. When the starter came out, it was very well presented but tasted quite average. The spring rolls were okay but nothing special, the tempura prawns tasted identical to every other tempura prawn I've ever tasted and so on and so forth. There was nothing wrong with any of these starters but, for almost 100 Swiss Francs per person, we were expecting a lot more in terms of flavour, as we can eat the same quality of food for 20 each at our local restaurant. The starter came out on a bed of deep-fried vermicelli, which was tasteless, so we didn't really eat it or understand why it was there in the first place. The main course was what really irked me though as we were so excited to try the five different curries on offer, but only ended up being mildly impressed by the first one. The first curry was lamb-based with potatoes, carrots and a sauce that tasted almost like a hotpot or stew. It was tasty and comforting. The standard dropped drastically from there as the remaining four curries tasted identical and, as well as that, the quality of the meat was poor. I've tasted a lot of Thai food so this was a true disappointment as I know how varied the cuisine usually is, with a plethora of delicious and different curries. Na Village simply provided 4 versions of the exact same sauce, just with different meats and spice levels. And, to top it all off, they weren't even done very well. We found ourselves trying to 'make it through' the meal so that we could leave as soon as possible, as we were getting zero enjoyment from eating the food, especially given the price. Whilst the restaurant itself is pretty, I can't recommend Na Village if you're looking for a good culinary experience in Geneva.

Best Thai in Geneva for food, decoration, and service

Delicious dishes, relaxed atmosphere, incredible decor and top-notch service. I understand why it is recommended to book a week in advance! A must in Geneva 🥰 My friends also loved it. We feel like we've gone to Thailand for a moment 🇹🇭

The decoration is magnificent and exotic. The atmosphere as well as the Thai dancer is incredible. The meal was worth the price, which is to say delicious. I highly recommend this address if you want to taste breathtaking Thai specialties!

First of all, this is the best atmosphere you can get in a restaurant, hands down. The amount of decoration is incredible yet sensible and not overdone. The food is really great, starters were excellent but main dishes were relatively small. Somewhat pricy, expect at least 60 CHF per person. One thing I found somewhat strange is that it's cash only, yet the menu is on a tablet. And they charged us 50 cents for a doggy bag, which is find a bit silly, especially with their pricing, do they prefer to throw away the food ? Another issue is with parking, we were driving around for 30 minutes before we ended up going to the nearby school, or you could go to the public parking Seujet but the signage is terrible in this area. Those few elements do not take away from the experience so long as you are aware of them. Therefore they do not affect the rating and the restaurant is highly recommended.

Amazing food! Loved the vibe. They are cash only location so make sure you have cash on you for dine in. We ordered the red curry and fried rice and it was flavorful. The vibe was the best part of the restaurant. It was completely booked out and had outdoor seating too but due to cold weather everyone was mostly sitting inside. They even have performances every few intervals. The staff as friendly and food was amazing. Highly recommend

Excellent cuisine in an incredible setting!

Bad experience. They don't take the credit card, they don't tell you when you arrive and when you want to pay they tell you to get money from an ATM. If you don't know the city, it's up to you to figure it out. Frankly I forgot if the meal was good or not after this poor service. Didn't go there.

By far the best Thai food in town in a stunning setting. I am a regular; both in person and for take away. Having travelled to Thailand many times, this place is as good to local as it gets. Best Pad Thai I have had in Geneva and further afield in Europe, the red beef curry is exquisite, the satay chicken is tender and accompanied by an amazing sauce and seasoning of fresh vegetable, … i am yet to try a dish I did not like. Unfortunately it can be very though to get reservations (as they are so popular) so be sure to plan your visit.

Magnificent place, idyllic setting from elsewhere, prices are reasonable. There were dancers and traditional music. We had the menu and loved everything that was served to us. The dessert I had was mango and sticky rice, and I have never loved a dessert so much. I can only recommend this hidden restaurant in the Saint-Jean district.

A total change of scenery. You cross the threshold of the entrance and you find yourself in Thailand. Magnificent Asian setting and very good cuisine. The service is also top notch!

A very good Thai restaurant in Geneva. We go there for the experience with traditional dances more than for the cuisine. The latter, however, is delicious. High value for money. Very nice space outside in spring to enjoy the good weather and the garden. Recommendable place for couples, families and travelers.

Even though it ranks on the upper scale of prices, the value for money is uncompetitive. One of the best Thai I have ever had.

A little Thailand within Geneva

This is a restaurant where upon arrival, you are projected into Thailand. the decoration is fantastic and the place very pleasant. Unfortunately the kitchen is not up to par. The dishes are visually very pretty but sorely lacking in flavor. Too bad for a Thai. also you should know that you have to pay cash...And that cards are not accepted...crazy (well ridiculous) in 2023 and after covid!!!

A very beautiful Thai restaurant with incredible decoration. You feel like you're in Thailand with this decor. The food is excellent like the “Pad Thai” dish, we find that flavor like in Thailand and their red curry is very tasty. the Som Tam was a little too salty for our taste. The fruit salad surprised me a lot with this scent of jasmine tea. We really liked it. Moreover. the price is also reasonable. The service was a little long but all the staff were very lovely and attentive :) We have heard a lot about this restaurant and we were very happy to discover this beautiful place.

New disvocery - super nice and authentic thai in geneva! We shared the spring rolls, papya salad, chicken stay and the beef salad which was very yummy! As a main, we had different curries, all super tasty, and the quality of the beef was impeccable!

Excellent meal and magnificent decor, however it is regrettable that credit card is not accepted, I wonder why🤔, Because some cards only have €0.23 fees! This forces us to carry around with a large quantity of cash, especially if there are several guests! So Na village it is time to equip yourself with a CB terminal, Because many of your customers raise this problem, it’s really a shame😞

Completely inconspicuous from the outside and visually and culinary sensational from the inside. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was lovingly designed! The wine selection was also good and the dance performances were very harmonious. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. You felt like you had been transported straight to Thailand.

Excellent Thai place, one of the most beautiful restaurants in Geneva. I had the tofu and veggie curry, it was delicious. The papaya salad and the sticky mango rice were also divine. I recommend to go in the evening. A very special place, worth the money (which is rare in Geneva).

We came at 9.30 , when we arrived the man told us that at 9.30 they take the last orders for food.. but when I told him it was 9.30 but than he said the kitchen was already cleaned… weird that on internet they say open till 11.30 😅

What a wonderful discovery this Thai restaurant in Geneva is! A true corner of paradise a few steps from Cornavin station, you will find yourself in a bamboo forest crossed by streams. This unique atmosphere is dotted with small pavilions where you can taste Thai gastronomic specialties accompanied by the traditional dances of a dancer. Reasonable prices for Geneva, 65 CHF per person (min two people) the tasting menu with five starters and five curries. Be careful, some curries are very spicy! Very recommended and also very busy, don't forget to book by phone at least one day in advance.

Beautiful setting, we had already been several times, excellent food, but no possibility of paying with the credit card, nowadays this is a step backwards, big weak point, the service is deplorable for the price we paid , this needs to be remedied. We invited six people and they noticed it too.

Quite simply the best Thai restaurant, the setting is magnificent and so exotic you really don't think you're in Switzerland anymore. We escape for an evening. We were really well received and well served, the whole team is at the top and you can feel it in this small village where there is a peaceful atmosphere. The Thai dance shows are incredible. The dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty, the prices are fair. It’s truly incredible to have this little paradise just a few steps from the center of Geneva. Thanks also to Bruna for her professionalism and speed for helping me book a surprise for my fiancé :-) we will come back for sure!! :-)

Of course a rating with 5 stars for this fantastic Thai restaurant, very aesthetic setting, perfect service and really good food! Not expensive for the quality we have. Favorite dishes: cashew chicken and homemade shrimp curry… the beef pho for lunch is also incredible!

We go there once or twice a year and we are never disappointed... the dishes are excellent, the cuisine is refined, tasty and the dishes are well presented. The staff is always extremely courteous and the setting is idyllic!!
