Very good food and good service. Unfortunately the ventilation system was set incorrectly. You take home the entire kitchen smell in every fiber of your clothes...

My boyfriend and I ordered through Uber from this restaurant and you should take heed from the other reviewers who said that the food is bad. After about half an hour after I ate the food I had to run to the toilet and had the worst diarrhea that I experienced in a long time. It was only food poisoning that I got from the food (I ordered the dish with spinach and cheese inside with some rice on the side). My boyfriend had a delayed digestive issues a day later, so we are convinced that the food from this place is at fault. Honestly, I can't recommend eating here at all. Never again....

Waited over 40 minutes for a soup that wasn't sealed properly. Halfway home, half the soup had already spilled and the paper bag was almost soaked. Jacket, pants and shoes completely full of tomato soup. Back at the restaurant there was no apology and the half-empty soup was put in a plastic bag and given back. There was an Uber Eats driver sitting outside who also had to wait forever. The soup tastes like nothing, is very watery and completely overpriced. And the waiting times are far too long and therefore the restaurant is unfortunately not recommended.

Used to be my go-to Indian take-out, I'm very sorry to say that the quality of the food has declined over the years. Today, the disappointment was perfect, I picked up my order for (specifically extra spicy) butter chicken, which turned out as bland as the rice served along with it.

Overfried, greasy and overspiced food, extremely slow and unfriendly service. Waited 1.5h for our order. Loud, no ventilation and the ubiquitous smell of fried greasy food. Our clothes and hair stank for a few hours thereafter. Never again.

Sorry, but too slow. Reservation at 7:15 p.m., ordered at 7:45 p.m., served at 8:35 p.m. In the meantime, other guests have eaten the starter and main course and the online orders have also been sent out. We prefer to avoid the place, Kerala was already great.

This is one of the worst indian restaurants in Zurich, Oerlikon.. Food is not at all good. I had vomiting after eating here. Late service and people is not customer oriented.

We ordered lamb korma via Uber. I don't know what this dish was, but it is definitely not korma. Very, very bland – and I don't mean in terms of chili or hotness, but just the taste. No spices at all. It looked like a sauce out of a highly processed supermarket sachet. This is not Indian food. We will not order again.

Yesterday I've placed an order directly from Namaste Oerlikon's website and there were white hairs all around the delivery package. Never recommend for delivery I would suggest to dine-in. Food was ok, not good and not too bad. No salt and masala's in vegetable pulao.

My partner and I like to try different Indian food restaurants, this restaurant was a success, the food was delicious, first we ordered a starter that came varied which allowed us to try a little of everything, for the second we ordered curried lamb and a mix of vegetables with potato, tomato and cauliflower, it was a little spicy but everything was very delicious. The atmosphere is calm, and the waiters are very attentive.

30 minutes of waiting is too much.

Really great place, might be a little hidden gem in this area, the curry is out of this world, really tasty, full of flavour and the meat was juicy and melting in your mouth. We had Chicken Korma and Butter Lamb, both really good, what stood out was the korma sauce which was a special recipe a bit different from classic Korma but nonetheless very tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

The restaurant was pretty empty but delivery service was pretty popular. The food is very good, the service is friendly and accommodating. Non-alcoholic cocktails may be a bit small, more of a big shot, but good. :) The food came quickly and was impressive, especially the delicious sauces

Very bad customer experience , I have been eating across the Europe for decades but this exp was very bad , specifically from an Indian restaurant. The dishes I ordered were full of oil. The panner dish I ordered was too oily and soggy ( The panner was tasting like a rubber ) , this is the first time I have seen a rice ( which comes complementary ) with the main dish was chargable. Overall not a happy customer coming out of the restaurant!!!!!

The food wasn't delivered three times because the order apparently didn't arrive. We had waited 3 hours. Then in the notes we wrote NOT SHAFT, it was delivered sharp. I will never order from you again.

0 star — I used to order often Butter chicken from this restaurant and it was very good, BUT recently they are adding raw chicken to the dish instead of cooking it properly. Really disappointed. Hopefully food inspection will visit this restaurant soon.

Very tasty Indian restaurant. Large selection of dishes. At lunchtime there is a buffet with 6 to 8 menus for 9.50 p.m., a very fair price. Plus fresh salads.

Flavorful authentic Indian food, with good ‘value for money’ ratio. We tried a few dishes. The only 2 comments are: the lamb skewers were not to our taste (won’t order again), and the fried food was too greasy.

After 90 minutes we are still waiting for our paid order...🤌🤌

Best place for indian food in Switzerland. We ordered to our hotel Novotel and from taking order to delivery and to taste of the food everything was amazing. They understood our taste and delivered same. We are in Europe from last 15 days but we found their food closest to India. If you are looking for Indian food in Switzerland then go to this place

Came here for lunch buffet, and the food selection wasn’t much, but they were very flavourful, and has a very authentic flavour to it. The lunch well worth it, only 20-25 chf for food and drinks. Highly recommend it.

If you like the food to be spicy, remember to mention that while ordering the food.

The best Indian food in Zurich , we were there for 5 days and had the best food , Infact missing it after coming back . There samosa , daal , raita , baigan sabzi are must try .. Infact whatever we tried there everything tasted perfectly delicious ... can rate them maximum ..

Worst service ever experienced in any Indian restaurant. Even after an all Indian staff, They dont even know what Indian hospitality is all about. The taste of food is ok, but too rude attitude and the staff thinks that they are doing a favor to you if theyvare serving food to you. Meal for 4-5 people cost 150 to 200 CHF, which is totally ok if the food and service are also according to the price. There are many more good options around in Zurich. One can totally give this restaurant a pass... better to be safe than sorry.

Indian food in any Indian hotel in Switzerland is not meant for Indians. It is always the tangy tomato gravy with some Paneer in it with no spice or salt whatsoever. After reading other reviews I wanted to try it here but disappointed as usual. My experience of veg food in Indian restaurants in Switzerland has been disappointing.

After coming from Goa India we were craving for some nice Indian food and this was the place😋Lamb Kashmiri was really great which was recommended by the person who took our order. Food is tasty, good service, restaurant accommodates changes to suit preferences (spice level, no garlic etc).

It's a very nice restaurant with a great ambience and nice decor. The food was really authentic and very tasty. The starter was good and the main course was also very good. The dessert was also first class. The only point deducted was for the additional cost of the rice with the curry. We expect it to be part of it. Otherwise everything was great and highly recommended.

Worth every penny, such a delicious and filling meal every time! We order here about once a month now, love the food, full of flavor and portion is enough for a snack the next day as well

They charge 2.5 CHF for tap water. That is ridiculous. We went for the lunch buffet and asked if i could have some spicy sauce, she went in the kitchen to check and when I finished my plate she came back and said the chef cannot give me spicy sauce as he will prepare spicy sauce only for the night. I would have been okay to pay for it, but I think because they thought I was asking for a favor they gave this cheap answer. Food is good but if you want any form of service, run away.

Received raw chicken from this place when ordering chicken Tandoori. Words are not enough to express how angry I am to pay that much just for chicken that turn out to be a health hazard.

Unfriendly staff. Taste less food.

If you are indian, make sure you need to tell that I want indian style food. Otherwise they won't add indian spices, food was good but when I ordered spices were completely missing. While sharing the review manager told me you need to tell separately about adding indian spices. Suggest while taking order, manager/waiter should asked if customer want indian style or not. If customer is Asian they would definitely go with masala kindof food. Otherwise it will be waste of time and money for customer.

Very fine Indian cuisine with courteous, warm service. Nice ambience. So far, all the dishes I've tried have been exactly to my taste. My favorite is the lambabdar dish. There's just one catch: Unfortunately, since Corona, the restaurant has been closed on Tuesdays - exactly when I'm in Oerlikon...

The dishes are well made, and are absolutely delightful. We truly enjoyed the Lamb Briyani. A bit more expensive restaurant, but it's for a good reason. I recommend.

Had malai kofta & butter chicken....in malai kofta there has been no malai at all and it tasted ok ok....butter chicken was even worse. Not worth the prices at all.

Food was good but very costly. The main thing which we did not like was that restaurant charged 5 francs for tap water. In Interlaken restaurants didn't charge for tap water.

We actually took one of our friends for a farewell party and had a bad experience here. Infact there were quite a few things wrong about this restaurant. First the vibe, while entering itself the vibe at the front gate was not welcoming. The lady was without a smile and we felt unwelcoming. The manager or owner also had no smile on his face. The waitress was rude while taking orders as well. My friend asked her about a particular drink and she responded I don't drink it so I don't know. We ordered tomato soup and the chef just sent the extremely thick gravy as soup. The starters were not cooked well and samosa was half cooked. We got so distraught that we did not order the main course and paid for only the starters and left. Finally ate the pizza. Avoid this restaurant no matter how much you have the craving to eat Indian dishes. Try other Indian restaurants.

We loved this place. The dishes were fresh, authentic and well-made. What really made our visit special was the two hostesses “Jyoti” and “Nancy”, who were very welcoming and accommodating per our dietary needs. We went few times to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint us anytime. Food taste is something we liked...better than other restaurants in Zurich.. it is also priced decently, definitely not on higher end. Staffs behaviour is decent too...Good part is , in lunch they have buffet with 2 vegitarian and 2 non veggie along with salads, samosa and papad....Overall I would recommend if one wants to eat Indian.

A rare combination of flavourful and freshly prepared Indian food along with friendly & professional service. We came when it was raining and the restaurant was packed, but the host accommodated us without raising an eyebrow. Be patient with their service as the food is worth the wait. Recommend tandoor options and Dal Makhni is a winner.

The restaurant is run by Indians. The food is really Indian. But be careful, spicy is SHARP. It's super clean and the staff is very friendly. A real tip for anyone who wants to eat Indian food.

Quality of good excellent. The best thing in this restaurant is they are showing every dishes in plastic 3D model. That's looks like the real dish. One bad thing here is there naan is not softy it's little harden and puffy.
