Namsan Restaurant in Bern

We had a great lunch and the dishes were delicious. The kimchi is just perfect.

Small, quick and excellent Asian restaurant!

Highly recommend the Korean beef or tofu bibimbap with egg if you're craving Korean food in Bern! Gochujang sauce was authentic and delicious!

I recommend ! The steamed dumplings (vegetarian) were really passable. Not very filling and a little bland. Otherwise, the pork bulgogi / bibimbap / gimchi were excellent!

Namsan Restaurant offers an exquisite experience with its Dak Bulgogi dish. The preparation is delicious and has never disappointed me. The flavors are rich and the quality of the ingredients is clearly reflected in the taste. A culinary experience not to be missed.

Bibimbam and Kimchi was nice. Almost same as Korean original Bibimbab. Nansan means south mountain. It is located center of Seoul, South Korea. It is famouse for Namsan tower and pork cutlet.

Good food and friendly service and good atmosphere

I was getting tired of Swiss food, so I came here and had bibimbap, and it was delicious. The staff are also friendly, comfortable, and nice. Eat bibimbap with meat and all the red pepper paste.

We went here spontaneously today during the Lorraine ‘Chilbi’ and what a lovely experience. The owner ans staff are super friendly, the food was yum and overall we had a great time. The weather was perfect and their terrace had everything we needed. We ordered a bi bim bap with beef PLuS kimchi on the side! It was so yum! It cane in a hot stone and the food was super duper hot till the end. We loved how a crust was built on the rice from the hot stone which gave it a crunch! If i lived in Berne, I’d definitely visit again soon! Definitely a discovery and worth a visit! We also had a house ice tea which was great.

Very expensive, every extra costs, and in the end you end up paying too much for a simple dish. Long waiting times because pickup is also possible

The owner is a foreigner and has lived in Korea for 18 years. When we went, there were two foreign employees cooking and serving us. He was very kind and spoke English well. I felt that the store also paid a lot of attention to hygiene. The food is also really Korean. It’s neat and delicious!! I recommend stir-fried pork :))

Always draws me back here. Nice service, very good and authentic Korean cuisine. My recommendation: Bi Bin Bab with beef, kimchi and seaweed leaves, with soju or bulgogi with pork.

Nothing special. Rice with vegetables. Not really Korean. Because there are so many takeaways, the guest present is the last to be served. Addendum: I ate bibimpap. It is presented as a rice dish with vegetables. Extra: egg, extra: meat, extra: kimchi. Each costs extra. So if you want a bibimpap as it should be, it costs almost 40 francs. That is absurd.

My friend liked the bulgogi (hence 2 stars, otherwise I would give one). I almost couldn't eat my curry with tofu. Maybe I don't know Korean well enough, but to me it tasted more like a cheap "Swiss curry" from a package, as if it had cream or cheese in it. The “homemade iced tea” also tasted very artificial, like some kind of ready-made mix. The service was okay. The premises were more like a snack bar. I don't understand how the restaurant here can have 4.7 stars.

If you miss the Chun-Hee Bibimbap you will find a very good replacement here. It was really very fine, as was the mandu. We'll be back 😋

My dad, who had trouble eating in Switzerland due to his bad taste, finished the bowl of Dolsot Bibimbap (with added eggs and meat), saying it was so delicious. It was the best!!

I had my first dinner during my Bern stay … suddenly really fancy some Korean food … I went there and the chicken wings were super tasty. Reminded me of Seoul 😌

The whole air of the restaurant smelt like fried oil. My clothes and hair smelt like it too after eating there. Not pleasant

The beef bulgogi is amazing! Really recommended. And the fried dumplings are also very good and the Namsan spritz too! We would like to come again.

I can highly recommend it, but unfortunately the price for takeaway is a bit too high... I recommend eating directly in the restaurant.

Pork bulgogi and bibimbap are wonderful!

I thought it was a Korean restaurant, but it turned out to be a Korean restaurant run by foreigners!! But it tastes like Korean food😳❣️Bibimbap and pork bulgogi were so delicious and filling! There are many places where the amount is small, but there was a lot of it! If I come here again next time, this is a restaurant I will definitely go back to❣️❣️

The Namsan fried chicken is the best piece(s) of poultry my tongue ever graced upon. The side of simple rice is a bit boring but I'd still travel to Berne just to eat this stuff again.

Very good food and really good as a delivery service. Unfortunately, eating on site is given lower priority than delivery services and there are correspondingly long waiting times. A pity!

I like it here. I've been to other Korean restaurants, but I personally didn't like them because of their attitude, but I like this one. They poured beer into my glass, and even though I ordered beer and then soju, they just gave me the beer because I couldn't afford it. They also gave me a lot of kimchi because it's the nature of Koreans to have kimchi. The rice may be a little dark, but it's okay because of the freshness and taste of the ingredients. Personally, if you add meat and seaweed to bibimbap, you will be full. (The boss came here after working in Korea for 18 years, so he knows Korean sentiment well. The downside is that Korean places serve basic side dishes (stir-fried beef, kimchi, bean sprouts, stewed anchovies, etc.), but they don't come here.

Bulgogi and bibimbap are delicious! The foreigners served Korean food, and the lettuce geotjeori was refreshing and the bibimbap was delicious. They even gave us kimchi!

One of my favorite restaurants in Bern. + Tastes great + good portion + The eye eats too + The salad sauce is unbeatable + Favorite food! (Bulgogi with pork) Tastes really, really good! Apparently the chicken wings should also be very delicate. + Gyozas fine + friendly service + Inexpensive! + you can never have enough of it! +/- In the restaurant, the food tastes a bit fresher/better than delivered. You can see that they place a lot of value on timing there. Top! Highly recommended!

The food is delicious. If you love food, you must visit and enjoy this restaurant. The service is taken care of in every detail and the staff are so attentive and kind.

The food is practically identical to that at Arirang (Hirschengraben Bern), where I have always had excellent food for years. When I was at Namsan recently, I was disappointed to find that the food was identical but way too salty and when it arrived it was already cold. There was also a dark hair in the rice. But the service was friendly. Nevertheless, I will probably stick with Arirang in the future.
