Napulé Pizzeria Locarno - Italienisches Restaurant in Muralto

Awesome pizza. Great service and view on the Lago Maggiore. Really place to be!

We were on Saturday evening on 16 March 2024, there were 4 of us, we wanted to give dinner to our 2 friends for a birthday, we were really VERY DISAPPOINTED with how the pizza was made and served, disappointment across the board, from the staff certainly not local or Naples.... but Filipino, Chinese, and more.... the pizza dough is served raw, personally I didn't eat it, impossible, my partner left almost half of it, ditto for ours 2 friends, really disgusting, we complained but only a pizza was deducted from the bill... a place to be 100% not recommended. Truly disgusting and definitely not even worth one star.....

After hearing about it from many as a novelty in the Locarno area, as a lover of good Neapolitan pizza I finally wanted the opportunity to visit the restaurant. The place is very nice, nothing to say, it is clear from the many objects present that they want to give the idea of ​​entering a typical Neapolitan restaurant. The pizza is undoubtedly very good, the nice puffy crust and the thin dough in the center are right, typical of the classic Neapolitan pizza. What unfortunately left me taken aback were the prices. Certainly a little justified by the fact of being part of a hotel overlooking Lake Locarno and by the quality ingredients used, but the fact remains that perhaps they could be slightly lower. But let's get to the sore point, I ordered a 0.75 liter dark beer. Of course, a craft beer, which is made in Ticino and we all know that everything produced in Ticino has a higher cost, but guys, paying 29 CHF for a beer!!! TWENTYNINE! I believe it is exaggerated at every latitude and has no justification. It is always about beer, furthermore the price was not present on the price tag that was delivered to the table where these particular beers were present, there was only the basic information of the beers. Furthermore, as a last, somewhat painful note, the coffee cup was splattered with coffee, probably the machine is not adjusted well and comes out too forcefully from the arm, also affecting the quality beyond. As a final piece of advice, in addition to the various scattered memorabilia that give you the impression of being in Naples, in my opinion it would be interesting to have something more in the offer of a representative of the Neapolitan region: wines from the region (and there are many), not Ticino beers for 29.-, or a few more Neapolitan appetizers (and there would be some here too).

We came with an insecure feeling and prejudices because we don't like the locations in the Zurich area because of their arrogance and bad atmosphere. But this restaurant definitely impressed! All the waiters and the pizzaiolo were very friendly and well-positioned. Romantic, cozy atmosphere with modern furnishings. Fine small selection of pizzas that are simply world class 😍 we will definitely come back to this Napulé!!

Excellent place, bright, clean and well-ordered. I ate a very good pizza with "Neapolitan" edges, no yeast aftertaste and very digestible. The professionalism of the staff completes everything. I recommend everyone to try this pizzeria.

Total disappointment. A lake on the plate... to eat it you needed more of a spoon than a knife and fork. Sorry for the money spent!!!

Excellent and very large Neapolitan pizza (not normal pizzas with thin dough) with a thick crust of bread dough. One of the best pizzas in Locarno/Muralto. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit too hot and the chairs become uncomfortable after sitting for a long time. The interior is visually very nice and warm.

I have never eaten such an inedible pizza. Pizza dough like rubber, base cold and not baked through. Ordered a caprese salad and was told it was out of mozzarella. Five minutes later, a caprese was served to the guest at the next table! During the wine tasting, other guests were welcomed and seated. Never again!

They recommended this place to me, telling me it was the "best pizza in Locarno"... I ate a normal Margherita and honestly, apart from the very high price, I didn't find anything more than a normal other pizza that I can find in the same place in much less. Furthermore, in my opinion, the place is not up to par from a design point of view compared to the cost of the products. I won't go back there again.

Great time in this pizzeria! The pizzas are excellent, the dough and the products of high quality. We were even offered an aperitif and a delicious limoncello ☀️

Great Neapolitan pizza, exactly how it should be! There are only a few pizzerias that do this so well in Switzerland. Top! Service was just so-so, friendly, but the order was forgotten, a long wait, the wrong drinks were brought and at the end there was another drink on the bill that we hadn't ordered. The free starter, a bruschetta each, didn't seem entirely fresh, it was simply thrown on the table and it would probably have been better to leave it out. Maybe just a bad day for the employee, that can happen and we'll be back. Since the pizza is really hard to beat, 5 stars anyway!

The salad was very tasty, but also came from the hotel kitchen. The pizza has to be perfect at these prices and both of our pizzas were not good. The edges of both were badly burnt, but nice and airy. However, it was completely mushy inside and when I cut it, everything fell apart like wet paper. The ingredients were very fresh and tasty. In other restaurants you can get much better pizzas for half the money. The staff was a bit overwhelmed as only 2 were operating the store. The ambience was good including live music.

The ingredients used are of good quality, however the pizzas are systematically burnt, underneath and on the edges: this ruins them irremediably. It would be enough to clean the oven more often, and cook less at a time. To speed up the service they evidently put too many in the oven, which all come out, ALL burnt (I also observed the pizzas of other tables). They must be aware of this, because when I went to pay the pizza chef was surgically cutting out a burnt bubble in the cornice. A shame...

The most horrible and expensive pizza I've ever eaten. Margherita worth 20 (!!!) francs, watery and burnt. I had to dry it with paper. Inedible.

For a good pizza and a glass of wine at the Lido of Locarno Muralto you are well catered for. Fast service just card.

Me and my partner tried pizzas in Nepule and we both said these belong to the best pizzas we‘ve ever had!! Highly recommended! Also the service and beuatiful lake view is incredible 🙏🏻

From the bar next door I could just watch a man happily ordering a 3-course menu (salad, pizza, espresso, ice cream). He always laughed when paying the bill and looked very happy when he left the terrace. The staff seemed very attentive and competent (attractive)

Title: "Disappointing experience at Pizzeria Napule" When we visited the Pizzeria Napule, we were greeted by unfriendly service staff. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The pizza was noticeably burnt and had a burnt taste, as did the bruscetta, which was more like a lump of coal. The salad contained only chopped vegetables and lettuce without any spices or dressing. Pepper, salt, oil and vinegar were missing from the table and were not provided even when asked. The drinks were okay and the ambience was acceptable, but there are certainly nicer locations on the lake that aren't so overpriced. We find 35 CHF for a poor quality and burnt pizza to be unreasonable and disappointing.

Great food but horrible service. We booked for 9 pm, had to wait for 30 min to order a drink and get food after 10 pm. Completely ignored by the staff. As soon as we said something the had even worse attitude. It is better that you pick up the food and eat it at the lake.

We were there for lunch on the terrace. Thanks to the mist system, it was bearable outside despite the heat. The pizzas are typically Neapolitan with a fluffy edge and a thin, soft base. We were here with a dog, which wasn't a problem. There is a view of the lake across the parking spaces. A nice visit.

Average 30 CHF for a pizza. These are new record prices in the region. The pizza actually tastes good, but the price-performance ratio is not good at all.

Finally the real Neapolitan pizza in Ticino! Dough, crust, ingredients, everything perfect...obviously the price is not Neapolitan, but understandable, also given the location. Very good service, overall more than positive experience!

We were there to eat, I got a pistachio and mortadella pizza, excellent dough, the only flaw is the quality of the mortadella is not good, you charge 35 for a pizza but the quality of the products must be there for the dough, compliments also on the cooking but not we went with the mortadella and the pistachio was too sweet...

We stayed at La Palma au Lac hotel. Upon checking in we were told this restaurant had the best pizza. I was skeptical, but decided to try it. We ended up having dinner here five nights in a row. Pizza was the best we ever had. Service and atmosphere were all great. My only regret is that I did not ask for the recipe to their most excellent crust. For our next trip to Switzerland we will make this restaurant our destination.

Good pizza, friendly environment and polite staff. One flaw, 82 francs for 2 pizzas, 2 cokes and 2 coffees, a bit excessive. I would go back but if I go back with my children I don't want to leave us 200.-chf. Too bad the rest is all top notch.

We thought the pizza was delicious!! BUT you have to like this kind of pizza. Of course the prices aren't exactly cheap, but that's what's written everywhere, so I don't understand a lot of the reviews here about the price, sorry!! The staff was super friendly, unfortunately a bit overwhelmed so we got the salt and pepper from the next table, not the end of the world.

The pizzas are good but for a place that only sells pizzas you would think more focus would be given to details. The vegetarian pizza was bland and the "grilled" vegetables were lumped together and not that abundant. Our waitress was very nice but the service in general feels rushed and disorganised.

I'll finally know where to go back the next time I want to eat a Neapolitan-style pizza made to perfection! Cheerful atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff... you can savor the quality right down to the last piece! Impossible not to finish it! Slightly higher price but absolutely justified by the quality of the ingredients used! Personally I prefer to eat pizza once less but of this quality, well leavened and highly digestible! Compliments! I highly recommend giving it a try!

Good pizza well made but not very tasty.. both the dough and the pistachio in this case.. price too high!! What I don't understand is how a restaurant defines itself as Neapolitan and then sells a crappy coffee that not even the station selections that make it in Zurich... in Locarno, when we have an excellent Carlito coffee, do I have to drink a crappy Zurich one???

The music was much too loud, but was willingly turned down. Thank you for that. The pizza base was raw dough and almost slippery. I hope in Napoli it is at least baked. The mixed salad had rotten leaves in it. Dinner was an experience... unfortunately of the bad kind.

Best pizza ever! Such good pizza dough. Really fluffy with a great crust. There is no saving on the surface and the higher prices are justified. Also very nice service. I would definitely go there again. If you're lucky, you'll even get a table with a lake view.

Their specialty is SPACE... I go there whenever I want pizza, the real one. Personally I would improve the environment and the layout of the tables a little. Here too, as elsewhere, there is a tendency to crowd customers together. Fast and friendly staff.

The pizza wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't worth 34 Francs. Good service. Unfortunately I didn't like the tiramisu dessert at all. Tables very close together, impossible to have private conversations.

The pizza was a delicious, tasty treat for the palate. Whatever was promised from everywhere was kept. The edge is a real joy as is the surface. The employees were friendly and accommodating. House wine Inexpensive and fine. To round off the evening there was a limoncello on the house. Assen there again the next day.
