Nespresso in Bern

I had the pleasure of taking part in a coffee masterclass at the Nespresso Boutique Bern and I have to say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Our trainer Stefan was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and committed. He led us through a fascinating journey of coffee, from bean to cup, and gave us valuable insights into the world of coffee enjoyment. The interactive nature of the masterclass allowed us to taste different coffee types and recipes and understand how different roast profiles affect aroma and taste. Stefan's enthusiasm for his craft was infectious and made the session an unforgettable experience. Furthermore, the atmosphere in the boutique was welcoming and the entire team was extremely courteous and professional. I can recommend the Coffee Masterclass at Nespresso to anyone who wants to deepen their love of coffee and learn more about the art of enjoying coffee. Many thanks to Stefan and the entire team for this wonderful experience!

We went to this Nespresso boutique on Saturday 5th August in the morning, during our recently concluded tour of many European countries. We would like to thank the very kind Coffee Specialist who welcomed us with such kindness, availability and professionalism. Unfortunately we don't know his name but we hope to be able to visit you again soon.

Friendly service, good opportunity to try the coffee before buying.

When I go to Bern, my route always takes me to the Nespresso boutique because I have a Vertuo machine with the round capsules because in the morning I always have a large cup of coffee. The bar contains 10 capsules and costs Fr.7.50, so 1 piece. 0.75 centimes before, I only ever had the normal capsules for the standard Nespresso machine, but I used 2 capsules for a large coffee, which was Fr. 1.08 per coffee, a difference from the price of Fr. 0.33. It's great and there's always a coffee There to enjoy so stop by the Nespresso boutiques.

Patrick gave us such a awesome experience in our first Nespresso store visit! We had our hiking backpacks on and were on our way out of the city and, soon after, leaving the country, clearly not going to buy anything in store. He still took the time to tell us about the history and missions of Nespresso, a company that we have supported enthusiastically for years. We said we’ve tried every capsule they have, but we were wrong because of the new Bianco Piccolo. He made us a cappuccino and gave us a lovely experience! Thanks Patrick!

very nice staff that understand your needs and help you immediately without beeing pushy. they showed me their new ice coffee which i was immediately hooked on. i felt really comfortable and the boutique as the service was really elegant. i come here more often for sure.

Unfortunately, it happened to me for the second time in a few months that I died on June 30th. around 8 p.m., immediately after the self-service area staff entered the store (isn't that a contradiction to the concept of self-service?!?) in a tone that I found threatening and very common in Swiss retail, with the statement “You can “Don’t buy here, you need a loyalty card”. The staff didn't care whether or not I had a customer card; I was shown the way to the exit. A “Good evening” instead wouldn’t have been bad… Since this has happened repeatedly in this store and this coincides with the bad experiences of other consumers with the Nestlé company, I will probably destroy my useless Nespresso customer card and buy the compatible capsules from another manufacturer - luckily, there are countless of them!

After I usually only order online, I was in the shop in Bern today as an exception due to an acute coffee shortage. I received such competent, humorous and friendly (and charming) advice that I regret buying so much coffee. Because: Unfortunately it will be quite a while before I can go there again ;-). Seriously: Now I know a lot more about the varieties that I used to use rather thoughtlessly and about their suitable uses and characteristics. So just thank you very much for this “shopping highlight”!

I love the self service station because it is well organized, safe and easy. The only thing I would mention is that you first need to have an Espresso account before you can check out and pay.

Customer service from supervisors is INADEQUATE - very poor. Poor to no information about customer status and account balance, customer is referred to hotline! The customer is accused by the superior of theft and fraud, and the customer account is blocked for no reason. Example: There were a lot of incorrect bookings made in my account, I have to pay CHF 90 for items that I NEVER received!!! Aerocino 4 CHF 95.-- VIEW Versilo CHF 35.-- less promotion CHF 40.-- = CHF 90.-- Goods were delivered by DPD against signature, but not to me!!!??? Very friendly staff and TOP support at the coffee tasting!

The staff have always been very friendly and helpful on all my visits. The shop is always very busy on Saturdays, so there can be short waiting times.

It is indeed nice to be able to taste the coffee before you buy, but having to queue 3 times from the entry to the exit was a bit unnerving. Spending half an hour just to buy a coffee and having to discuss with 3-4 people from the staff until i can leave with my coffee is not in my taste, but other people seemed to enjoy.
