We often get our coffee here and the salespeople are always very nice and competent. However, this is the second time we have had a very negative experience with the shop manager, Ms. Fleischli. She should actually be a role model when it comes to customer service. On the contrary, it is a chilling example. She was absolutely cheeky and arrogant for the second time. It's actually astonishing that such a person is tolerated at Nespresso and is even the manager?!? Luckily, this hasn't rubbed off on her employees yet. Both times our concerns were absolutely not unreasonable and were presented in a friendly manner. Nevertheless, Ms. Fleischli reacted as described both times. We actually like to communicate with salespeople on an equal level because in most cases they do a very good job, which is certainly not always easy. But when someone acts like Ms. Fleischli, you have to ask yourself who is the customer and who is the service provider. That's why we decided to announce this here. I hope that someone from the Nespresso management also reads this and offers Ms. Fleischli appropriate further training so that she can finally develop further in the area of service/customer care.

Very bad service! The personnel are really rude and unfriendly. Came to taste the new Nespresso machine system to evaluate whether to buy a new machine. Asked for a tasting and the lady took another customer who also asked for a machine and didn't want to talk to me. Said I need to wait and queue up even though I wanted to hear about the same machine. Always had a mediocre experience at Nespresso stores as they are always too crowded but this place is rude and unfriendly on top.

We received friendly and competent advice when shopping. Unfortunately, we were incorrectly informed that a product (gift) could be returned without any problems. Especially because we come from Germany and knew that we wouldn't be in Basel next until the end of August. Unfortunately, the recipient already had the item and we wanted to return it as agreed. The original box and receipt were of course handed in. Now it has been said that it is no longer possible because the purchase was 20 days ago. The nice saleswoman asked her superior and colleague about “goodwill”, this was rejected without explanation. Precisely because the item is an accessory and not a food. Completely incomprehensible and annoying for me as a customer.

Rip off. You go there and want to buy some coffee as a gift for 25.00. Then the saleswoman mumbles something about top discounts and small surcharges and takes my silence as confirmation. Puff, the whole thing suddenly costs over 80.- and I'm left with 100 capsules as a non-coffee consumer. Only shop online and only pay for what I want and need...

The saleswoman was really disrespectful! I bought a coffee machine on December 21 & September 22 (not in the Nespresso branch) with a coffee credit. I was able to purchase part of the coffee directly and I was supposed to make the rest directly via Nespresso. I happened to be at Nespresso Bankverein on Monday and thought I'd go and ask if I still had any credit from December 21st. The saleswoman was so arrogant; Why I have two accounts, she immediately deletes one, that wouldn't work if I hadn't said so. A credit is only valid for 1 year, the Nespresso customer is valid for 1 year. Would I never have BUYED?! (I no longer had any credit on it which was fine with me) Yes, and now you don’t want to buy anything?! I'm perplexed ;no If only they had bought with a voucher?! Me again yes And more and more Everything she said was in such an arrogant tone that I ended up leaving the store. NEVER AGAIN!!

This Nespresso store is not only well located, but the team is top notch: the way Mr. Bakis and Ms. Fricker, as well as the rest of the current team, treat the customers is truly outstanding! The team has learned this ability to really empathize with customers, identify problems and solve them with good suggestions. We have visited many Nespresso stores around the world, from Southbeach Miami to Dubai and Asia and can say; The best service is in Basel. Keep it up! We can also absolutely recommend the Creatista Pro or Plus (we have both), especially in combination with a promotion.

Bottom drawer! I have a mask certificate because I am not allowed to wear a face mask for health reasons. Was simply thrown out even though I showed it quite well. I'm not allowed in there without a mask. Nobody spoke German (in Basel!!!) and nobody understood what my problem was. Absolute impudence!

Mega selection of different types of coffee and flavors. The selection of coffee machines is also impressive. Competent and friendly advice/service. Everything about coffee is perfect. Disposal bags for the capsules are provided free of charge and can be filled and deposited in the milk crate. The postman then takes it with him. Great service.

If you like to drink a coffee, you can get one or two for free here. However, that's a problem with these capsules, because they wear out quickly. Same principle as with inkjet printers. The device is relatively cheap, but the cartridges/capsules are quite expensive. I would recommend that everyone buy a real coffee machine, i.e. a fully automatic one. Or the classic Italian ones that you screw together and put on the stove or in the fire. But if you need it quickly and conveniently and don't have to worry too much about money, these capsules are quite good for you and there are over 10 different varieties as well as something special every now and then. I grind and brew myself again.

On October 23, 2017, a Nespresso coffee machine was sold to us in St. Jakobpark with a promotion of CHF 100.00. Plus a CHF 25.00 promotion in the machine itself. The lady on site was friendly but didn't know much about the checkout software. After about 30 days we went to the Nespresso shop and bought coffee with one voucher. We were assured that the vouchers had no expiry date. Today 2 months later, the CHF 100.00 voucher is no longer valid!!! This is an absolute disgrace! One wonders how far the trinity still goes. If we do not receive any response from Nespresso, we will take further steps accordingly!
