Where should I start? Ok, I'll put it this way: if there were 10 stars, the "new spinning mill" team would have earned 12. 😁 We call ourselves “brunch connoisseurs”. But what was offered to us can hardly be “topped”😁😁. The best there is in Bruch!!! Many thanks to the team and kitchen

Cheap......great value for money

In a nutshell: Cozy atmosphere, fine food, first-class service. There's really no need to say more. We had an absolutely lovely evening with you. And would love to come back. PS: depending on where you sit, you won't have cell phone reception and that's great! Put your cell phones away and talk to each other <3

I can only recommend this restaurant. Top service, very fine food. When a group is eating it can be a bit noisy. But it's not bad.

We were there for the first time in March 2022 for Sunday brunch and were thrilled by the variety and how everything was beautifully and lovingly presented. That's why we went there again in February 2024 and are very disappointed. We were there at 10:30 am. Brunch lasts until 1:30 p.m. In general, the buffet was only 1/2 as big as the last visit. Simply run-of-the-mill brunch... there was a lot to choose from but egg dishes were no longer prepared on request. At 11 a.m. there was no more plaited bread, croissants weren't fresh, in my opinion. The roasts, three types of meat, were undercooked and were no longer available at 10:30 a.m. when we arrived. After a complaint, our group of 15 people were given 7 small pieces of roast. Salmon very salty... Unfortunately the visit is no longer worth it. But the service staff is very nice and friendly. Everything is no longer so high quality and lovingly presented... Addendum: Correct, the Prosecco wasn't included. I have explained my point of view again upon request. I have not received an answer to this to this day.

Even though I had made a reservation for 14 people, we had to wait almost an hour and a half for our food. When we complained, the staff didn't even apologize.

Very dissatisfied with the service

We made reservations for 14 people this evening and announced in advance that we would all eat meat on the hot stone. When our food still hadn't arrived 1.5 hours after ordering, we complained. Instead of apologizing, they looked for excuses. There was no apology during the meal or afterward. After the meal we thought that at least we would be offered espresso or coffee or a discount, but that wasn't the case either.

Good food in old walls. The service is also good. We had a cozy, simple evening there.

I had dinner with my family this evening and what can I say... it was really fantastic! The beef fillet on the hot stone was tender as butter and the homemade sauces were very tasty. The Crisscuts are highly recommended as a side dish because they are super crispy and spicy. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and elegant. Highly Recommended! One of the best restaurants in the Zurich Oberland.

Just 5 stars! When you enter the house, the wonderful smell of freshly baked bread hits your nose - that doesn't happen in many places anymore 😍 We were served like a king, a drinking bowl was ready for our four-legged friend upon arrival - extremely attentive, friendly staff! The chnobli bread was super tasty. The burger in the homemade brioche bun with crisp cuts was world class and the prices are totally okay. We'll be back 🤩👍

I'm super disappointed...reservation for 15 people was made at 10:30am. As you can see in the photo, the undercooked roast made from pork, veal and beef was no longer available...after a long discussion they brought 7 small pieces, so not all of us could taste the roast. There is also no mention of a varied salad buffet, because there was leaf lettuce and beetroot salad with two different sauces. The whole thing went over everything. I was there in 2022 and thought it was great, but now the trip is no longer worth it. Such a shame

Good address, geared towards meat lovers. We tried several dishes, most of them carnivore 😊. All were to our taste. The service is good, and the location modern.

Very good atmosphere, food and service are also very good but they could definitely improve something. Nevertheless, definitely recommended.

2 weeks ago my stomach was spoiled by zander fish crispy!!!! The restaurant would be nice. The food and especially the hoopla afterwards were horrible! Addition: everything is denied. They want to “prove that that wasn’t the case.” But they never have.

Nice atmosphere and good lunch deals

Very good food in a historical atmosphere.

For an unforgettable experience while eating hot stone, our path always leads us to the spinning mill. The host and the entire staff are always incredibly hospitable, accommodating and extremely flexible. The highlight here is undoubtedly the various meat variations and the tempting dessert menu. In addition to the great service, the cocktails they make are also outstanding. A small wish would be to have a new selection of starters every now and then to enrich the culinary experience even further. We are already looking forward to our next visit. The Spinnerei is and remains our first choice for an enjoyable and convivial meal!

What a great restaurant. Beautiful, stylish atmosphere, super nice staff and delicious food. We always like to come back!

On the whole we were satisfied. Cool location. It was busy and the service wasn't as attentive as you would like. For example, we were never asked for a drink after the aperitif. Food was good, we had tartare. You could add a little more butter right from the start.

Pina Colada can only be recommended!!!!

A very cozy, modern, stylish restaurant that is particularly popular with younger visitors. The food is excellent, the service attentive, friendly and competent. The atmosphere is modern, but still very cozy. In summer, the pretty garden restaurant invites you to have a chilled evening meal, with the stream rushing in the background. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant for a dinner for two, but also with the whole family or friends. The prices are in the middle range, but are significantly cheaper than in the city.

We have been guests again and again for several years and enjoy the delicious cuisine and the hospitality. I especially love the tartare all a discretion on Monday. Everything fits perfectly and is a nice change for us from our stressful everyday lives. Brunch is also recommended. In my opinion the best and most diverse brunch far and wide. The price-performance ratio is also good. Thank you for everything. We'd love to come back.

Good and tasty restaurant in Aathal. The ambience is, although not outstanding. The service can be improved, even if it was our waitress's first day. There were also too many mistakes that shouldn't happen to a restaurant like this. However, the food is worth the money, so we will still come back.

The service was great and very friendly. The veal cordon bleu had far too little cheese in it for me and the fries could have been fried a little more. I think the ambience is awesome. I'll definitely be back but for tartar.

The food, service and ambience were good, the saddle of venison was very tender. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time - almost an hour. This wasn't a problem for us adults, but the hungry children became aggressive and unbearable. Please bring food to the children faster.

We were registered with a group of 6 people, it was early August and cool outside, so we were given a table for 6 inside. The reservation worked and was easy. After arrival we waited for one person. Despite repeated requests to be allowed to order the food, the actually nice lady in service pointed out that one person was still missing and therefore the order could not be completed. Only after repeatedly expressing the wish to please receive the food was this wish fulfilled. Otherwise the service wasn't bad, sometimes "a little" slow (not excessively slow, just not always there right away, but ok so far). The food (burger with fries) was ok. A fried egg was placed on top of the Hamburg instead of in between - for whatever reason. The bread tasted like 0-8-15 industrial bread, the meat was cooked through (we didn't ask, so that's fine, but it's still a shame for burgers when meat has been fried to death...). The prices for the Hamburg are salty and start at CHF 28 per burger, with various options open to the top and without a side dish (fries + CHF 7). Price/performance is definitely not right here. At the same time, there is also meat from the grill "hot stone" - so classic, the customer roasts his own meat. The meat was good. No second stone was offered - but neither was it asked for. All in all a "fancy" restaurant, high prices, average service and unfortunately only mediocre food, especially considering the price. The crowning glory is the paid parking lot.

Very nice and cozy lockal. Very friendly and attentive staff. Went for brunch with 25 people. The buffet is an absolute dream with a very large selection. The only negative point: with the bread there should be a napkin so that not everyone touches the bread with their hands. But it should just be a hint. Will definitely come back.

Great modern atmosphere. My dish, the holondaise was probably not homemade. And the coffee/dessert is a bit expensive at 9.50 CHF. But we'll be back so we can try more and new dishes

Whether it's a family brunch, or a couple, it's the right environment to feel catapulted into a traditional Swiss atmosphere, from the wooden tables to the rustic furnishings, it's the right restaurant for a brunch full of sweet and savory products presented and cooked in a Good. It's just a shame that to reserve you have to at least call a couple of weeks in advance.

Had game, almost CHF 40. Inedible. Bad. You were warned, but you wouldn't have expected it to be this bad. If the goods are really bad, they don't belong on the card. Of course, the full price will be on the invoice. At least there were two free children's desserts as a discount. In addition, French fries were too salty. Staff very friendly, but understaffed (not the staff's fault). Eternal waiting times. Location very nice. Rating explicitly for the game miss and the understaffed staff.

We were happy with everything. Friendly staff. Beer from Uster ok, good that there is something regional here. Food was good too. After Covid closure we came here again and it was very good again. I think hot stone is a good idea. Here again...and everything is still OK. Wish it stays that way!

Large brunch buffet, very friendly and helpful staff!

Went to eat tarta a discretion. The tarta is delicious, a bit too delicate for our taste...but that's a matter of taste. When ordering, we would have been very happy to receive a brief consultation, for example whether we would like to spice up our tart with truffle oil, etc. (additional sales for the restaurant ;)). What we were disappointed with were the crostinis. The bread was extremely dry and firm...possibly from the day before(?). I couldn't cut it apart with a knife. The iced tea, on the other hand, is very tasty! Delicious!!

Brunch on Sunday: Friendly staff and professional. Buffet good. Cold buffet selection (cheese and meat) disappointing. Warm buffet, very nice selection - unfortunately the food was a bit cold. Maybe the roast, curry and rösti were set up too early, could be set up a little later than 9:30. You would also like to find replacement cutlery at the buffet.
