Neuhaus in Niederhasli

The innkeepers are always very friendly with us. Soup with sparrow, super good. I have never had such a fine soup anywhere. (You can't get more sparrow!) That was delicious.

One of the last real country pubs where everything is just right! As a regular guest, I appreciate the beautiful garden restaurant with its summer menu, grilled specialties, fine salads and desserts. In the colder season, the fine, hearty menus according to old traditions. The cozy smoking room should also be mentioned.

Incredible café restaurant from 1962 with a huge earthenware oven, excellent meal, friendly waitress goes out of her way to translate the menu for me and on the tables of the region's choco heads I had to take two the prices are nice I I will return there on my next visit to this beautiful region, especially in summer because outside there is a grill area

Lunch menu 16.50 chf without salad or soup, I think it's expensive, especially the portions aren't that big! It's not enough for a craftsman, and the serving lady didn't ask at all whether we were satisfied or had enough of the food. Will never visit the restaurant again!

Are our Swiss hosts still doing too well? It's summer, we visit the Neuhaus restaurant to enjoy the garden restaurant. The restaurant is sparsely occupied. We sit down at a free table. The place setting of our predecessors is still there. We sit down in the hope of being able to eat something. But far from it. We are asked in a harsh tone whether we have reserved. When we say no, we get a clear answer. No service without a reservation. There is no RESERVE sign on any of the tables. We get up and leave the restaurant. We won't be coming back. On the way to another bar in the village center and at the new bar we meet fellow sufferers. Others feel the same way too. The other innkeeper welcomed us and all other guests with open arms. There was even a schnapps at the end.

I like to walk there on Sundays and let myself be pampered. In summer I enjoy delicious grilled food in the secluded garden, accompanied by fresh and crunchy salads; In winter I treat myself to hearty home cooking, deliciously prepared and friendly served. And when I'm there for a snack, there are wonderful cakes and originally arranged coupes - or rustic dishes like oxmouth salad, Wädli or bacon in one piece.
