Delicious food, nice service, good selection.

Surprise, it's so different from what we're used to. Worth the detour, everything was perfect and warm.🌞

Very good food and the service was very nice. When the restaurant is full it is a bit noisy.

The standard menu is manageable (which I don't see as a disadvantage at all) and is supplemented with a special menu with seasonal dishes. The food is good and the portion sizes are appealing. In terms of price, in my opinion we are at the upper end here. Unfortunately the service is a bit mixed. Attention varies greatly depending on who is serving you. Since the tables are very close to each other, it is difficult to have a conversation in peace. A plus is certainly the large terrace where you can sit in the summer.

Great restaurant! Great wine list, but especially the rarities at reasonable prices from the boss's cellar! Be sure to ask about mature wines, it's worth it!

We ate here with a group of 7 people and it was absolutely delicious! At lunch there were around 10 dishes to choose from and most of them had the pork schnitzel a la Viennese style. It was a large portion and we were all really full afterwards. We also had the nut salad and a few also had the mixed salad. The salads were extremely good! I don't know what was in the sauce but I ate every last drop of it with the bread. Very nice traditional Swiss restaurant!

Very nice place for fine dining

What a sensation...I was there again today for a long time. I was warmly welcomed by name. The daily menu was salmon with mashed potatoes and saffron sauce. What can I say...It was a sensation. Quality, quantity and presentation was like in a 5 star à la carte restaurant. During the meal, the boss personally asked whether it tasted good and, without being asked, offered more sauce and brought it straight away... I was speechless...

Food is good 👍🏻 The service could be a little more attentive and warm. Unfortunately, we didn't feel as picked up. It took a few attempts to get the bill...

You feel welcome and can choose a wide variety of dishes from a clear menu. The service is attentive, the food is very good. The ambience in the old factory-style Neumühle is very pleasant. A small drawback is the volume, when there are 6 people at the table, only those opposite can understand something from each other, it is rather loud.

Really bad Service will not go there again! First we had to wait like 5min until someone greeted us and allocated a table. The Waiter asked us "What we want to drink". We decided to take a very luxury water, which came quite fast. Afterwards we waited for the menu card around 5min, which seem to be pretty rare, because i had to ask for it. God bless finally we were able to order, or maybe not? No unfortinately not, because we had to wait another 15min that sombody was coming to take our order (Just a tip when somebody close the card it means that you can take the order). Our neigbours already finished eating and they received it in the half time from our journey "Restaurant Neumühle". We decided to leave because everything was taking too long and we had other important appointments. I asked for the bill and had to pay 13.- for two water, which in my opinion is an impertinence! In General the prices where pretty expensive not worth the service. The Food i can not rate because i wasn't able to eat there, so i can only give 1 star. I never expierenced such a bad service and i go often to different restaurants. Billing me 13.- for water and not even delivering an sufficient service is rediciolus. I would not bill my costumer in this situation at all. Not a customer friendly restaurant.

Their specialty “güggeli im chörbli” was good or rather very good. The wine prices are excessive for me, but this is incomprehensibly very common in German-speaking Switzerland. But what knocked the lid off was that they sold us the carafe of water for 10.00, despite the fact that we drank plenty of wine. If we hadn't drunk any wine it would bother me less but certainly not 10.00. 5 would be more appropriate for “Château la pompe” from the tap.

Always fine, no matter what you order. All waitresses are sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant in every season. The prices are fair. Definitely above average restaurant.

I came to this restaurant after a long hike. First I had to beg for a table in the almost empty restaurant, only to be ignored for 25 minutes by the 3 service employees present. I left the restaurant again. It's a shame, I liked the atmosphere. But the employees obviously made an effort not to want to see me.

As always, the food was very good. Only the service wasn't very attentive. Or overwhelmed. We had to specifically request dessert and coffee. The bill then took another long time. The lady couldn't even give an aperitif recommendation.

The food (moules et frites) was delicious and the service was very attentive. In my opinion, the very narrow seating, front and back, contributes to a very high (unpleasant) noise level in a full house.

Today we have an excellent Boeuf Bourguignon. It couldn't have been better. Service nice as always!

We were here for lunch. The restaurant was very busy and unfortunately very noisy. It took about 45 minutes from ordering to food on the table. I've heard that from colleagues too, so it seems to be standard. In any case, far too long for lunch. The food itself tasted rather average. But the “icing on the cake” was the poor service. The lady seemed extremely unmotivated. For example, when asked what the soup of the day was, she just nodded her head at the menu in annoyance (according to the motto: it's there). Usually, when it's being cleared away, people ask whether it was tasty - here they probably don't think that's necessary. Now I remember why I didn't want to come here anymore. Nothing has changed since last time.

Central location, attentive service and very good quality food.

Ambiance was cozy, sociable. Unfortunately, the service didn't take into account the cooking level of the meat, which was unfortunately "medium-well"...it's a shame the piece would have been tastier "medium-rare". Top wine list. Boss very present...and otherwise top. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We spent a wonderful evening in the Neumühle. The food was excellent and the service was super friendly and very accommodating. Had the Wiener Schnitzel (it was huge), the Lucerne pan and the chicken breast. The pistachio parfait is highly recommended for dessert.

Fine as always. What was a bit special was that the staff came to the table with a ready-made dessert and asked what kind of dessert we wanted. We assumed that these small desserts would be offered. Maybe it would be good if the staff explained this properly. My colleague and I always have dessert at Neumühle. But next time I want to choose something from the menu.

Very nice and friendly staff. I ordered the pork Wienerschnitzel, with salad instead of French fries. Schnitzel was pounded very thin, very tender, and prepared with tasty (probably homemade) breadcrumbs. Just the way it has to be. Salad was very, very good, great creation with lots of delicious ingredients. I'll be taking the whole family to dinner next time! I can highly recommend the restaurant to everyone

I was disappointed, the service left a lot to be desired, we had to wait a long time for the food and the toast was forgotten with the tartare... With the small portion (around 28 francs) there wasn't enough... No ashtray was brought either. Maybe I had a bad day, I won't go there again, which is a shame because the location would be nice.

Was there for lunch. Unfortunately my paneng curry with chicken meat was Asian vegetables and basmati rice was very bad. The chicken had a very strange taste, I couldn't eat it. The Asian vegetables, consisting of very little red pepper and broccoli, were more than overcooked and overall the food was very nicely prepared. The service employee also asked if the food was not good, which I confirmed. She inquired in the kitchen where she was told that the chicken meat was from the thigh and not chicken breast!!!!! Unfortunately the coffee wasn't on the house, which was more than I expected.

The Neumühle in Baar? One of my favorite restaurants in the canton of Zug. Top service, friendly, uncomplicated atmosphere and very good cuisine.

An excellent evening. The wine selection is even better if the food is well cooked. The highlight is when the boss himself comes over and takes you through a wine and rum 🍹 tasting. Excellent 🥰🤩😍

Ein toll eingerichtetes Restaurant das wir trotzdem nicht mehr besuchen werden.. Das Personal war zwar freundlich aber es herrschte ein komplettes Durcheinander und wir mussten sehr sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Vielleicht wegen der langen Wartezeit war unser Hunger nicht mehr vorhanden so dass wir kaum mehr etwas assen.

Immer wenn ich in Baar bin, und es mir die Zeit erlaubt: besuche ich die Neumühle. Super Gerichte die nicht ganz 0815 sind. Liebe es hier zu essen. Meistens ist es bei mir über den Mittag. Tolle Küche, super Team, cooles Ambiente...

Went only for drinks and snacks. The aperol spritz has really good taste. The staff was a bit slow and didn’t see us much (even when we seated at the bar), overall it was ok.

Immer einen Besuch wert. Feine und abwechslungsreiche Tagesmenu zu einem fairen Preisen. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Zentral gelegen und gut erreichbar mit ÖV wie auch mit Velo oder Auto.

Das Essen (Rindsentercote mit Kräuterbutter, Pommes und Salat) war sehr fein. Das Fleisch war butterzart und auf dem Punkt gegart. Der Wein wo uns dazu serviert wurde (vom Kellner emphohlen) war sehr fein.Der Kellner wo für uns Zuständig war, war sehr aufmerksam. Hat uns sehr gut bedient. Einfach nur top der Service.Kommen gerne wieder mal zu besuch!

Das Restaurant Neumühle können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich, es ist für jeden Geschmack das Passende dabei. Die Speisen sind qualitativ top und es schmeckt sehr lecker. Was uns begeistert hat, es gibt eine extra Kinderkarte mit einer guten Auswahl an Gerichten für die Kleinen. Super!!! Wenn wir das nächste Mal wieder auf Urlaub nach Baar kommen, gehen wir definitiv wieder in die Neumühle essen!!!

Sehr gutes Essen. Leider gibt es nicht viel für Vegetarier dass finde ich schade aber ansonsten super.

Ich finde das Lokal zeitgemäß für alle Veranstaltungen unwichtig ob mit Kollege, Freunden oder Familie.Jawohl,... vollkommen um noch ein Dessert nachher verputzen zu können.Die Bedienungen sind jedes Mal überaus liebenswürdig und überaus verbindlich. Das macht mir und meinen Mann bei jedem Besuch vollends viel Wohlgefallen.Mein Mann und ich sind absolut positiv überrascht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall zurückkehren.

À côté de l’hôtel Ibis, parfait pour un bon souper avec des vins de qualités.Plats savoureux et généreux, le prix est assez élevé mais au regard des saveurs je trouve que cela est correcte.Bon accueil encore que cela va dépendre de votre serveuse... le dernier soir serveuse très limite voir même un peu aggressive. Mais je vais y retourner lors de mon séjour pro.

Ci veniamo spesso a cena post-ufficio, la vicinanza al centro, di fronte stazione ferroviaria, ne facilitano la localizzazione. Ambiente molto rilassato, servizio puntuale e piatti di ottima fattura completano un quadro davvero molto positivo. I prezzi sono in linea con i parametri Svizzeri che per noi (italiani) risultano decisamente alti. Merita una visita!
