The bartender and service are top notch. It was shocking how quickly and easily the cocktail was fixed upon request. But I was unpleasantly surprised by the paid water in the bill

The Nomad Design & Lifestylehotel is a place we always like to come back to for a quick snack or a drink. Sitting outside is always a pleasure. However, our experience has shown that there can be some inconveniences indoors, especially in the front part when fully occupied. The music is often too loud and eating food on the lounge tables is rather uncomfortable and reduces the enjoyment of the experience.

Top notch. Can't wait to be back. Super service from the staff and absolute bliss to stay it.

We chose the Nomad because the design and the walking distance to all the sights appealed to us. Our expectations were exceeded in all areas. A great breakfast in the morning and a cocktail at the bar in the evening, with lots of sightseeing in between. Good design with lots of small, well thought out details. The free bar on every floor for water, tea, coffee and fruit is also great. Plus the friendly staff ;) we'll definitely be back.

A wonderful new hotel. The restaurant is public and a tip for everyone who loves a special atmosphere. On Sunday they do the best brunch I've ever experienced. With live music and great and very attentive service. Reservation is recommended! Always very, very happy.

Très bel hôtel avec des concepts très originaux. Chambres superbes avec un personnel très à l'aise et sympathique. Hôtel idéalement situé à deux pas du Kunstmuseum, de la place du marché et de nombreuses lignes de trams. Le personnel de l'hôtel est absolument génial. On se sent comme des individus et non des clients avec des attentions très personnelles. Le restaurant sert un excellent déjeuner sous forme de buffet respectant les normes sanitaires. Le repas du soir est bon également. La gamme des alcools et apéritifs est très grande

Au Nomad on fait tout de suite partie de la famille. Gentillesse totale de chacun, tutoiement de rigueur, ( c'est sympa !!! ) et on sent que l'équipe a du cœur à l'ouvrage, travaille avec plaisir et est vraiment à l'écoute des hôtes qui ne sont pas seulement considérés comme des "clients". L'hôtel est moderne, style "béton brut" mais décoré avec goût. Propreté impeccable partout. A peine arrivés, on reçoit des boissons fraîches, on peut participer à la roue de la fortune et gagner des prix (pour nous 3 cocktails !) et en route pour la chambre qui est spacieuse avec un gentil mot d'accueil sur le tableau noir. On est à 2 pas de la vieille-ville, du Rhin, des musées et du zoo. Ambiance cool également avec les autres clients. Transports publics gratuits et réduction pour les musées. Il y a aussi le library Club, un lounge où sont à disposition des boissons et des snacks, c'est sympa.L'hôtel a aussi un sauna et une salle de fitness mais faute de temps nous ne les avons pas utilisées, contrairement au restaurant dont la carte est petite mais où chacun trouve son bonheur. En résumé, une excellente adresse à Basel !
