Nón Lá Vietnamese Streetfood in Basel

Rip off, literally 50 grams of chicken for a 20chf plate of food. Then 2 leaves of coriander and mint along with a bunch of grated red cabbage. Where in any real Vietnamese food would you have this limited amount of herbs and red cabbage which does not exist.

Very good food for a reasonable price. The staff is nice and quick, the portions are quite big, full of fresh and good quality ingredients. Definitely one of the best places to visit in the Martkhalle.

Authentic Vietnamese at a great price. I am a loyal customer and am treated accordingly by the super friendly staff!!! In my opinion the best stall in the Markethalle!!!

I tasted gỏi cuốn and bún chả giò, and my friend bún bò lá lốt. Everything was very good! The service was very efficient and friendly. To recommend !

The food is always delicious and the Nòn Là team is very friendly. Behind the counter it also looks very hygienic and the food is prepared fresh and quickly. The stand is in the market hall and it can be a bit louder at peak times, but the food never disappoints.

One of the best meals you can get in the market hall. I would recommend everyone to try Nonla. The service is world class and it's a pleasure to come by every time.

Came here for 2pm and it’s closed. The server was probably tired and counting money with an attitude. Not a good impression for someone just arrived in Basel and hungry for Vietnamese pho. Change Google map hours.

Great food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, I noticed that the prices had risen (as with other stalls in the market hall). For me, CHF 19.00 - 22.00 is on the upper limit for a self-service lunch.

I was given a rubbish plastic bag that fell apart after 2min so I lost most of the food. What was left wasn't very impeessive.

Food was ok with a decent portion, for the price ok. Price ranges between 15 and 21 fr per portion.

By far the best Vietnamese food in Switzerland! We go here regularly because the ingredients are very fresh, the staff is friendly, it's quick and tastes good. I recommend it to everyone...!

Bad service and rude. The food is good, but the service leaves something to be desired and won't keep you coming back. I saw the man serving the food blowing his nose and picking his nose and the next minute serving the food. Totally disgusting!

I've ordered nudel with shrimps and chiken to take away. Boxes for food are really horrible. Because something started to pouring out of these boxes on my jeans, legs. Food is without taste, salt or smth. Shrimps are very difficult to bite because of this tempura. I'm very upset... (( I love Vietnamese food but not this one.. Sorry

I had a medical procedure the day before, which obviously left marks that are still healing. When I ordered the food, you could see 2 of the kitchen workers clearly making fun of it while I was standing there. I find this to be absolutely unprofessional and a disgrace. The food was ok, but hardly any meat and almost only vegetables. I had very visible marks from a medical procedure I had done the day before. While I was ordering, 2 of the kitchen staff thought it was funny to make jokes about it (pointing at it and laughing etc.) while I was still standing there. That is absolutely unprofessional and insulting. The food was average, but it was mainly vegetables and barely any meat.

Good and inexpensive food, unfortunately a bit poorly prepared, if you can even call it that. My rice noodle dish was also very dry due to the lack of sauce. The industrial bottled sauces offered were not an optimal replacement. I like the other branch (Spalenbrunnen) better.

Food at Non-La Vietnamese is delicious! So aromatic!!!

This place was the most popular when I was in the Markthalle, but even with the line they were able to make orders quickly. I was able to order really quick and waited 5-10 minutes for my food. I had the spring rolls and the yellow curry and they were both good. Curry was more spicy than I expected (considering this is Europe) but it was a good amount of spice. They also have sauces and chilis at the counter that you can add if you want. Lots of options for vegetarian items.

Very tasty food & super friendly staff 👍 The Menu C4 and the mango/ginger iced tea are highly recommended. I'm probably there 1-2 times every week. I'm already looking forward to the next time 🙌

Decent food, not too expensive and in a accessible location. As one of the food stalls in Markthalle, we tried the two versions of Pho noodle soups they have. Surprisingly, one of those versions is a non soup dish. Instead they mixed the Pho with oyster sauce. Tasted okay though, but we did prefer the traditional one with the 3 types of beef in it.

For me it's a ritual once or twice every week. And the service is simply great

They were busy on a Saturday afternoon but the line didn’t take long at all. We got our food within 10 minutes. I ordered the Bun Bo La Lot and my husband ordered the Bun Cha Gio. Both were delicious and flavorful. The portions were generous. They also accept Visa credit card. This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Europe so far.

This is the best place to eat Vietnamese food in Basel! The service offered by Hoa, Aung, Brenda, Loi and Chang is just amazing. Recommended dishes: B3 and C1 with duck 😉.

I've tried it for the third time in a long time, unfortunately the impression is consistently negative. The menus would be interesting in and of themselves and most of the ingredients are fine. But: The chicken meat was strange and the food had a monotonous taste: far too much soy sauce. The service was strange. I stood in front of it for a long time and wasn't noticed until I was finally able to order. Price of the menus approx. CHF 19.

Actually, I didn't want anything. On the escalator in the market hall with goods after shopping on the way to the car, Nón lá simply laughed at me. ... Then we had Summer and Spring Rolls for the aperitif at home. That was a very good idea Thanks- Cam On, guys.

Top, my favorite place at Markthalle, I am going quite frequently. Staff is super nice and friendly, and the food is fantastic.

One of my favorite restaurants at Markthalle so far. The food tasted very authentic, with lots of mint leaves as is common in Vietnam. Great portion sizes as well, for a very affordable price. Will visit again for sure!

Not really tasty. Found several hairs in my food.

The noodles I ordered were so tasteless that I had to throw them away. Not recommended!
