After renovation, super nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff

The Nooch was recently renovated this year. It now seems a little too “full”. Too much decoration, much tighter and before it was much easier and better. Prices were also increased by up to 15-20% (Latte Machiatto almost 7.00). All You Can Eat is also up from 49 to 58. Cash payment is also no longer possible. Honestly - everything could have been left as before. The food was good for that.

Very tasty food and great service!

We went in on a week night without a reservation. We were able to get in with no wait. The vibe of the place is so cool! The whole restaurant has a story. The waitress was so nice and helpful with good recommendations. We ordered jumping chicken bites, the panang curry, and the sunrise poke bowl. Overall was great and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for Asian food

Very fine sushi. (Monday evening: All you can Eat - Sushi) Very nice, courteous service. Table 10, ventilation was set too high. Very quickly.

Super fresh food, a great selection and a variety of drinks, also for an aperitif. There are deductions for table arrangements and seating. Some of them are way too close together (keyword: privacy) and I find chairs without backrests or even plastic stools unacceptable. Luckily there are other 'normal' tables too. I also find continuous sound with ambient house unnecessary in a restaurant. Very uncomplicated, efficient and courteous service. All in all, highly recommended, we'll be back.

I ignored the allergens and stupidly ordered a dish with nuts. Even though it was my mistake, the dish was replaced without discussion. Thank you very much and the nice waiter! :-)

We had exactly the same pasta and curry in the branch on Aarberggasse as we always do (at Westside Bern), but it tasted awful... we were very disappointed and will definitely not go to this branch again.

Restaurant a few steps from Bern train station. With Asian / Cambodian cuisine. The food was very good. The “Sweet World” dessert was also very tasty. The Aperol spritz in advance was perfect. The atmosphere is modern, marketplace tables, QR card for the menu, but the orders are made personally by employees who are all very friendly and accommodating. Above all, our cellar was so warm. I can only recommend it and we will definitely come back. But I still have to say one thing and we enjoyed it much better in Nooch-Bern than in Nooch-Westside. We also received important information that the restaurant will be renovated at the beginning of 2024 and should open in March. We allow ourselves to be surprised.

Was served politely, I am very satisfied

I found it very good, both the quality of the fish and the flavor of the sushi rice and noodles. The best in Bern, I would say. Additionally, there are poke bowls, baos, momos and gyozas. The waitresses were very attentive, fast and friendly! I recommend!!

Food OK, although not super authentic. Staff friendly and efficient. Note to self (and others): Carafe of water costs CHF 11. Demolition.

We went for a quick easy dinner with my gilfriend but were left disappointed. We started with a miso soup that was soso but edible and the price is quite reasonable. We had the sweet sour chicken (Beijing Night I believe) and "Beef and Zen" Noodles. The chicken unfortunately tasted like pure vinegar and Beef noodles were so salty that we were not able to finish them. We both ate about a third of our meal. I am not a fan of writing bad reviews but throughout our stay we were never approached by the service once we got our meals and after some time I just decided to pay on the counter and leave. It wasn't our first time here but we will not be coming back after tonight.

The food tasted wonderful and was delicious as always. The service was friendly and competent. Cool air flowed in through the always open patio door from the garden seating area at the back of the restaurant and that was very unpleasant. The noise level in the room was very high.

Closed by with Bern station, suitable place for having lunch while walking sightseeing Zytglooge, Unesco Old Town Bern, Einstein house and Aare River. The food and beverage are meeting the expectation. The waiter is very kind and warm.

The interior was ok and the tables were clean. A QR CODE had to be activated for the menu. A good idea, as many menus are very messy and sticky. As a foreigner, I first had to set up the WiFi, with a lot of personal data that I don't want to reveal. Therefore my resident sister ordered. My fried rice with mango etc was good. But joy “cooks” it better. Therefore only 4 stars.

“Asian” restaurant in the center of Bern. Good for a quick meal. Nothing to go out or stay for long. The food was good - but too Europeanized for my taste. The dessert “Sweet World” was very good, but in my opinion, the frozen fruits on top are just too cold and the ice crystals in the fruit bother your mouth. Here I think you should wait 10 minutes at room temperature before serving - a lump of ice arrives at the customer straight from the freezer. The atmosphere is modern, marketplace tables, card and pay online, but order in person with the employee.

Went back twice coz it was so good. A welcome break from european food after travelling in europe for 3 months. I was skeptical at first for fear asian food would be westernized (yet again). But the food was solid. 1. The food came out very fast. Always a good sign of a solid asian restaurant 2. There was WOK HAY in the fries rice (thank the lord). FINALLY. You could see the individual rice grains = non soggy fried rice 🙏 3. The nippon bridge was by no means traditional but still very good. I rlly enjoyed the texture of the ramen noodles. Perfect. The sauce was nice and creamy. The perfect addition to this dish would be to include an egg! Thank you Nooch for providing a much needed sense of home during our travels🥰

Very friendly reception at the entrance. We were still able to choose from different places. The service was also very friendly, as we know from several other people. We chose Zen and beef and Panang Curry. Both were good as usual. The restaurant also has its own ambience. We can also recommend it in Bern.

Large selection of Asian dishes. Prices are a bit high but good quality. The QR code menu card and payment option make ordering and payment easier. Cozy atmosphere, especially at the back of the tent.

Great bachelorette party dinner with a cozy atmosphere in the backyard. The food is simply great as always! The service was also convincing and everything was on time (impressively fast service). It's always a pleasure at Nooch, but the JGA dinner with 9 girls will be especially remembered!

A friend recommended it. The salmon tartar was amazing. The aperol spicy ginger was so-so. The heavens and tofu bowl was decent, but very filling for the price.

Questionable restaurant. Listless staff with excruciating waiting times. I can't judge the food because our digital order wasn't passed on to the chef.

Repeatedly disappointed. Better go to the Westside branch, it's 1000 times better. -Salad quality spoiled -Sushi cut inaccurately and falls apart

Staff very nice, food excellent and so good! Portions have become smaller and smaller in recent years while prices have risen, which is a shame! Noisy and cramped when it's full. Therefore 1 star deducted. Otherwise I really enjoy being there!

A good location for sushi lovers. The map was digitized, which is a bit more complicated for me. Individual dishes are great and I support this idea. Scrolling is only extremely laborious when it comes to sushi as a single combination. It was more practical with the card instead of paper. Individual orders can be added to a watch list, which is extremely helpful. Service staff nice, courteous and fast. Payment can be made at the seat (QR code also contains the total amount of the invoice) and it can be settled with TWINT. I find the idea super innovative. It's fine to walk by spontaneously, but we recommend making a reservation if you want to stay longer in Nooch.

The rice is dry, the prices are exorbitant for what they are and the drinks are just water with a little taste (at more than 5 Swiss francs per water...). This type of average low quality restaurant seems to be the norm in Switzerland, avoid restaurants if you can and this one in particular.

The food is always fresh and very tasty. The allergens are clearly declared, I have celiac disease and have never had any problems after eating gluten-free food at Nooch. Jenny is also always very nice and friendly; I like coming when she is working. However, the whole team is friendly. We'll definitely come by several times :)

Super fine food. Ambiance...for me, the slightly older generation, rather cool, dark and fast. The semi-digital ordering process should be explained at the beginning, but it was rather difficult for me. However, the payment options are great...

After 13 days in Switzerland we were craving for some Asian food (that is open on a Sunday). Ordered the beef stir fried with rice (forgot the actual name, abt CHF30), vegan tatamen ramen (abt CHF28) and shrimp gyoza (abt CHF12?). The food came out great! The stir fired came with good ‘wok hey’ and there wasn’t a lot of customer (restaurant was probably 10% full) hence the service was good. Overall I would recommend this place if you are craving for some Asian food and don’t mind the $$$.

I had high expectations reading the many positive reviews, but we were disappointed. It's very expensive for what it is, the Asian flavors aren't there, the gyozas were soft and didn't have the crispy side and the vegetable stuffing was uninteresting and very Europeanized. Both dishes overall were OK, but disappointing overall and not worth the price. I didn't get the explosion of Asian flavors I was hoping for. The interior is fun and exotic and the service friendly.

It's a shame, Nooch used to be a good address. But 26.- for a curry that mainly consists of soup, some rice with 5-6 pieces of chicken is nothing but a disgrace. Even the request for a second helping was simply denied with a smile! And then the beer...8.- for a large one, which is served in a faded glass... move on to the edamame, which are draped in containers where you feel like you're getting a decent portion, you'll be disappointed. The food was delicious - but the usury destroys the taste

What we ate was very good, I can't judge whether it was authentic, but I enjoyed it. I've been here repeatedly and will probably come again.
