Obergrenchenberg in Grenchen

Despite the overly spicy food, there was free tea for one person. The other three of us had very good food, very large portions. The boss was very friendly, the whole family was very prompt. In the end he even had enough time to sit down with us for a quick chat. He was very warm.😘 My parents have eaten with him many times and are always very satisfied... We thought so too... We'd love to come back again and again.👍😀🙏🤗

The restaurant is highly recommended. You get a really nice welcome, from people and animals 😉 The food is simply great. The hospitality of the host family is very heartfelt. The prices for what is offered are absolutely justified. An absolute must to stop there and have a good time. Thank you for the hospitality. Welcome It's on the board in front of the rest. Obergrenchenberg. It would be so nice if the tenant could find a motivated landlord, after all the restaurant was a gold mine. The road is supposedly closed at the moment, but you can also go hiking :) NOW IN THIS HEAT IT IS JUST WONDERFUL ON THE MOUNTAIN🤩

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. You have to sit in a room next to the stable. But the owner is very friendly. We didn't eat there, so no comment.

After a nice walk in a region that we love we wanted to eat at the restaurant...what a surprise...dogs are not allowed...in a region where numerous trails and medor walks are legion Currently we are in a gourmet restaurant and our little dog is with us with the added bonus of a bowl of water...find the mistake... We were customers of the former owners, but that's over...

I always stop here when I cruise over the Grenchenberg with my Harley. Great destination for hikes in the Jura. Always enough parking spaces.

Very unfriendly staff, zero interest, face like you've just woken up. If there is a bell on the table for service, you ring the bell and wait 20 minutes until someone comes I will never go there again.

We were the only guests. There was a person in the so-called restaurant who didn't understand a word of German. Gastronomy at its stupidest.

Very nice host. If you have time and like to travel comfortably, this is the perfect place for you. We only had ice cream, so I can't rate the cuisine. But I'll definitely get it again sometime.

Very nice and a few degrees cooler than downstairs. Everything was super clean. Very nice friendly service. A visit up there is recommended. Hiking trails are simply AWESOME. Watch beautiful animals, also suitable for children. Playground, (very good)

We stopped with the hiking group to have something refreshing. We were warmly welcomed and treated to delicious homemade cakes. Great view with good value for money. Is recommended to everyone😊😊

Good, typically Swiss-German atmosphere (e.g. music). Excellent snack at an extremely reasonable price. Almost obligatory break after a tough climb on the bike.

... als man auf dem Obergrenchnerberg, trotz vollem Haus und belegtem Garten, freundlich begrüsst wurde. Die freundliche Wirtin hatte nebst dem "Chrampf" meistens ein Lächeln in ihrem Gesicht und für ein "Griezi" mit Rigi-Akzent reichte es auch immer. Ihr schweres gesundheitliches Schicksal trug sie tapfer, ihre Freundlichkeit litt nicht darunter. Die Auswahl war an Sonntagen einfach, aber super, der Braten und der Pfeffer legendär. Das hat sich jetzt geändert. Die typische Freundlichkeit des Luzerner Landes ist nicht mitgenommen worden. Für mich als Luzerner Hinterländer, pensionierter Küchenchef, schmerzhaft. Die Speisenuswahl trägt derAlp-Lagea, nicht Rechnung,die üble Launen des Damenzirkus völlig unangebracht. Seit 20 Jahren waren wir gut konsumierende Gäste. Wir sehen uns anderswo um. Schade.

Leider seit dem Wirten Wechsel sehr zum negativen geändert. Herzloser Service, die Auswahl der Speisen und die Qualität leider auch. Das Hunde in einem Bergrestaurant nicht erwünscht sind, okay?? Nicht begreiflich? In Zukunft, warten wir bis die neuen Wirte Wechsel.

Extrem unfreundliche Bedienung. Wartezeit für das Essen ca. eine Stunde. Obschon wir reserviert hatten hatte es keinen reservierten Platz suf der Terasse? War unser letzter Besuch😭

De plus le prix des boissons est digne de la ville ou du Titlis (café 4.50 ) Je ne suis pas pingre mais la c est plus qu exagéré bref allé plus loin direction Court le Harzer est digne de confiance et direction Granges l Untergrenchenberg ne se moquera pas de vous

Karte ohne Deklaration, MwSt? Früher top, mit neuer Führung Flop! Wir brauchen keine Top Gastronomie, aber in einer Bergbeiz erwarte ich doch etwas mehr als geboten! Freundlichkeit ist hier ein Fremdwort geworden! Ich will nicht Werbung aus der Innerschweiz sehen, sondern erwarte Präsenz hier! Welche Bergbeiz öffnet erst um 10h? Und Was ist mit einem Brunch?Ich nehme an, dass die lukrativen Direktzahlungen nicht zu mehr Innovation beitragen... ein Restaurant mit dieser Lage, dass so super war, innert weniger Monaten so herunterzuwirtschaften... das ist ja mal ne Leistung! Danke aber ohne mich!

Sehr sauberes Restaurant mit grosser origineller Dessertkarte und selbstgemachtem Kuchen. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich. Der Speiseraum ist sehr angenehm und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zusammen mit der einmalige Lage ist dieses Restaurant mit den neuen Pächtern absolut ein empfehlenswerter Geheimtipp! Hunde dürfen nicht in den Speisesaal, was wir sehr schätzen für einen entspannten Aufenthalt mit Kindern. Zusätzlich ist ein kleiner Selbstbedienungsraum, wo auch Hunde hineindürfen.

Been there so often, the food is always freshly prepared and beautifully prepared, and the food is served warm. So friendly and with a smile, even when everything is full. A big bravo. Some restaurants might get fed up with that. I will gladly come again.

Schönes Ausflugslokal mit freundlichem Personal und der üblichen Speisekarte eines Schweizer Berglokales. Ausreichend Parkplätze am Lokal, eine schöne Sommerterrasse, eine rustikale Gaststube und gute Speisen wie Getränke. Schade, dass die aktuelle Pächterfamilie im Frühjahr 2019 aufhört. Danke für den stets guten Service und schöne Stunden auf dem Berg!

Wir waren nach einer schönen Wanderung zum Essen dort. Gemütlich, gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und anständige Preise, nicht überrissen. Für die Kleinen hat es einen ansprechenden Spielplatz, für die großen, sehr leckeres Bier. Ein Familienbetrieb, den es zu unterstützen lohnt.

We wanted to eat at the Lower Grenchenberg first. But there was no chance of eating anything at half past four. Fortunately. This is how we came to the Oberer Grenchenberg restaurant. We had great service, great and inexpensive food. We would like to come again.

Sur la route 44 de l'itinéraire de MontainBike reliant Soleure à Neuchâtel, superbe étape pour se restaurer et pour dormir. La famille est très accueillante et sympathique. Le souper était parfait, soupe aux légumes, saucisse à rôtir, cordon bleu, le tout excellent et en quantité. Pour dormir, très sympa ... Petit-déj. avec pain, croissant et sucré/salé.
