The restaurant has a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains. The furnishings may be a bit rustic and simple, but the Gordon Bleu are excellent and are offered at an almost nostalgic price. Therefore, it deserves the best attention. Visit it and see for yourself.

Country inn located directly on Lake Wägeital with a delicious selection of cordon bleus. There are some free parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant, which is, by the way, already getting a bit old. The terrace is beautifully furnished, the location directly on the lake and the fantastic view of the lake are special. The interior could easily do with a renovation, the interior of the restaurant is long past its best years. The service is quite nice, but by far the best thing in the Oberhof is, as already mentioned, cordons bleus in different variations, which alone makes it worth a visit when we are in the area again.

Food was good and service was very friendly. Smoking place. I would like local fish/local fish dishes, but maybe that depends on the season. In comparison, it's more 'pricy' when dining with a family of four without dessert.
