If you like cordon bleu you definitely have to eat here. The price performance ratio is very good. The food is fresh and the portions are generous 👍👍👍 I would love to eat there again.

Always had only positive memories of you in Mundauns and Adler. Unfortunately, the gastronomic offerings in our category are only decreasing in Obersaxen. The best Cordon blue I've ever had! I chose the Italian version with gorgonzola cheese, and it was delicious. The service was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and kind to my kids. The only thing I found was the price was expensive.

The best cordon bleu I've eaten in Switzerland! The food is really excellent, but the prices are quite high. Unfortunately, service was a bit slow during my visit, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full, resulting in longer wait times. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant because of the excellent taste experiences.

I was there for the first time last Saturday with my two children and my father. The Cordon Bleus were amazing and the wine was also at the right temperature. Simply spectacular indeed "Schöni Cordon Bleu", exceptional taste, large cordon bleu (it was the standard one), with mushrooms, Alpe cheese, mascarpone, ham and speck, FABULOUS. The staff were very friendly and attentive, seeing our disappointment in not being able to book a table, they did their best to find us a place. Really super nice. Obertor obligatory stop in Ilanz.

The Cordon Bleu is exceptional (I tried the Stroganoff, but I imagine the others are no less good). Welcoming environment, dressed by a group of very nice ladies with whom we understood each other perfectly with gestures (our waitress didn't speak Italian, although I think they did at times). Good beer. Price from Switzerland but reasonable, huge portions.

Our welcome was extremely warm and the ambience is homely and warm. The food was excellent and very hot, so we were able to enjoy warm food until the end... we had soup, then cordon bleu with the best fries... we have had Served and pampered like we haven't been for a long time. We have been to Obertor several times and we always enjoyed it. The menu is not too big and the food is excellent. The entire staff is very friendly, attentive and authentic. You can see the joy in what you do. We always look forward to the next time and always go home with a full stomach and a smile :)

Was there with the whole family. There was a small Cordon Blou for each child. And we adults each had 550 grams of the finest meat enjoyment. And the salad beforehand was very fresh and wholesome with the two homemade sauces. All in all it was super nice. We would love to come back here.

Cordon Bleu are awesome! Very, very tasty, there is no shortage of a variety of cordon bleu fillings to choose from. Salad with homemade sauce, mmhhhh... The local service staff is very friendly and attentive. Dining here is recommended. Located in the hearty old town of Ilanz.

Went to the Cordenbleu Festival for the second time. I know a lot of Cordenbleu all over Switzerland, but this one is the best in all of Eastern Switzerland. We took the XXL which was super tasty and weighed over 1 kg. Just great

Food tip top Service... well🤦‍♂️45 minutes until the first drink was at the table is not allowed, even if new staff are trained. Then the others just have to look a little. The new one tried hard.👍

Fine Cordon Bleus. Special cordon bleu may not be on the menu. Unfortunately we forgot to mention it. I would have liked to try the "Brigelser".

The women were under a bit of pressure. A waitress was visibly in a bad mood. But the other one made up for it. All in all the food wasn't bad. Cordon Blue (pork kidney) was huge.

Cuisine, staff & ambience excellent!

We've never been here before, so let's go into the living room. It smells very good of pine wood in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to sit in the garden. The menu was presented to us. There are two choices for each day (vegetarian and meat). We also ordered the menu. So we ordered a menu, Rice Casimir and Pizokels Sursilvans. Both were very good. However, we have one suggestion for improvement: the effectiveness could be increased by at least 50% if the staff didn't run back and forth several times empty, but first brought the menu to the guests, or took the order, or served the guests who wanted to pay instead First, clear everything from the empty tables everywhere and disinfect it (although the disinfection was done very well).

Very nice restaurant, extremely friendly service, a place where you immediately feel at home! The menu was top... fantastic cordon bleu and much more. When ordering you have to plan carefully if you want to have room for a dessert. The portions are almost as big as the warmth of the restaurateur and her crew!!!!!

The Obertor restaurant is located in the old town at the Obertor. Very nice garden and friendly service. You should take a little more time to eat. The Capuns are really great and the house specialty is the Cordon Bleus, which goes well with a Calanda Glacier beer. Prices are medium to slightly higher. I will gladly come again!

Very basic dish menu without red line. very high prices given the cuisine served and the slowness of the service. contradictory given the diversity and preparation of the dishes. we will not return there and we do not recommend it to anyone. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates high-quality, hearty but also innovative Swiss cuisine. The selection of Cordon Bleus is incredibly large and definitely a reason to make the journey here several times. The chicken breast was one of the best and most tender I've ever eaten. The risotto could have been made by my Italian grandmother and the starter was also extremely tasty. The food is certainly not a bargain, but in my opinion it is fair, as a lot is delivered in terms of taste and quality. The staff is local and very friendly.
