Food was very good. Service great. Unfortunately, our tip was not given to the staff who were entitled to it.

You have to see the ox. A must for anyone who loves good, traditional cuisine. A card that leaves nothing to be desired. The prices are decent and so is the quantity. Everyone makes an effort to keep the standard high. Despite the current construction site, everything was done to ensure a pleasant stay and a temporary solution with sanitary facilities in the form of a heated container was set up. After dinner there was even a small conversation with the boss. I appreciate this very much. Thank you very much for the evening and see you soon.

It would be very nice there, bratwurst with fries was tasty and plentiful. There was even a greeting from the kitchen, a little cheers, because I had to wait a bit. There was an event next door.

We reserved a place for 2 people on Thursday morning for Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. We got to the restaurant about 5 minutes before time. We announced that we had reserved for 2 people in the name X. We were asked if you could sit us down here at the regulars' table due to space constraints. (This place was reserved with the name Y and was not set.) The reserved "Täfeli" with the name Y was then taken away and placed at a set table at the back of the hall. A short time later two people came in and said they had made a reservation under the name Y. The guests were then seated in all seriousness at the back of the hall and were able to enjoy a set table apart. I am of the opinion that it is an absolute impudence to sit down in the original place of the couple with the name Y and then put them in the hall, where our place would most likely have been. In my opinion, a restaurant should no longer accept reservations if there are no more seats available. A regulars' table does not include guests who have reserved a table for dinner. We were very disappointed and will not go to this restaurant a second time. Another negative point, which in my opinion is a very sensitive and hygienic issue: The drinking glasses were held UP by the edge and served that way. This is an absolute no-go for me and very unhygienic. Still a positive point: The food was really delicious, the portions were ideal, not too big and not too small. Precisely. Greetings family X

Yesterday we were out and about as St. Nicholas and had a break and had food in Ochsen, it was again super good. The host was friendly, clean and quick. Offered us a nice soup and I think we'll be back. Greetings

Für Wanderer eine gute Wahl,weil die kommen nicht mehr.Für Fremde zu Abgelegen und nur mit einem Fahrzeug zu erreichen.Es gibt bessere Möglichkeiten seinen Hunger zu stillen. Das Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich,aber das ist auch schon alles.☹Lieber wenige Franken zahlen für den Bus nach Luzern und in einer Imbissbude Essen.

Über Jahrzehnte hervorragendes Essen mit perfektem Service ... immer wieder gerne da. Beste "Metzgete" weit und breit.

Wunderschönes Haus. Leider waren wir dieses Mal von unserer Hauptspeise enttäuscht. Aber wir kommen wieder und versuchen es erneut, trotz der Anreise von 30km.

Alles frisch gekocht und sehr fein. Auch bei Fleischgerichten 8 Sorten feine Gemüse dazu. Grosse Portionen zu guten Preisen. Sehr freundliche und rasche Bedienung. Etwas laut im Speisesaal. Richtige Landbeiz. Super.

Einfach Super. Wir können dieses Lokal mit dem sehr netten Personal und der tollen Küche nur weiter empfehlen. Grosse Portionen und sehr faire Preise und zuletzt noch ein Gratisgetränk. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr lecker gegessen! Ein Stern Abzug für die Speisekarte: meiner Meinung nach gehört Metzgete und Cordonbleu nicht auf die Karte wenn es diese Speisen nur auf Vorbestellung gibt respektive monatlich serviert werden.

Das Essen ist gut. Eine währschafte Landbeiz. Die Portionen eher zu gross. Besser wäre ein kleines und ein grosses Menue. Eher schon etwas gehobener Standart. Sehr freundlicher und guter Service.

Wir hatten unser Neujahrsessen im Ochsen. Rund 60 Personen. Der Service war aufmerksam und flott unterwegs. Die Küche hat ein feines Essen gezaubert, an dem es nichts zu beanstanden gab. Werde den Ochsen sicherlich wieder mal besuchen.
