The Ochsen restaurant is apparently known for its Cordon Bleu specialties, so as a Cordon Bleu lover, of course I had to try this out. For me personally, the cordon bleu stuffed with gruyere cheese is the ideal choice for a cordon bleu in terms of cheese. The cordon bleu was wonderfully crispy and the filling was perfectly balanced. Particularly notable were the various mixed salads, each served with a different sauce. The service was particularly quick and extremely friendly, and I can say the same about the chef. I look forward to visiting the Ochsen again on my next stay in the Walenstadt region.

That was a wonderful first evening in the oxen. We treated ourselves to a perfectly fried fillet of beef with pepper sauce, vegetables and French fries. Enjoyed a fine Stadtner Blauburgunder and Eptinger still water in a glass bottle. For dessert, a delicious scoop of cream ice cream from Igelati with whipped cream. All in all it was a very nice meal with a friendly boss who is also a professional in service. the restaurant is very cozy and the prices are good. We will go to the Walenstadtner restaurant ochsen again.

Dazu kommt, dass es sich jeweils um sehr grosszügige Portionen handelt und niemand hungrig das Restaurant verlassen wird :)
