The Ochsen restaurant is apparently known for its Cordon Bleu specialties, so as a Cordon Bleu lover, of course I had to try this out. For me personally, the cordon bleu stuffed with gruyere cheese is the ideal choice for a cordon bleu in terms of cheese. The cordon bleu was wonderfully crispy and the filling was perfectly balanced. Particularly notable were the various mixed salads, each served with a different sauce. The service was particularly quick and extremely friendly, and I can say the same about the chef. I look forward to visiting the Ochsen again on my next stay in the Walenstadt region.

That was a wonderful first evening in the oxen. We treated ourselves to a perfectly fried fillet of beef with pepper sauce, vegetables and French fries. All in all it was a very nice meal with a friendly boss who is also a professional in service. the restaurant is very cozy and the prices are good.
