Were there twice. Everything is tip top. REALLY friendly service and really good homemade pasta.

12/10/2023. Such a poor service from some male who only spoke Italian. Huge wait for food. Plus not high quality ingredients. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. Never again. Never again !

Fine pizza, friendly service, smiling guests - and reasonable prices

We often order pizza or risotto to pick up. Everything I've eaten so far has been great 🤩 The garden restaurant in Summer also looks ultra cozy. Nice place & good cuisine.

The waitress (lady) couldn't speak German, 1 soup was inedible (garlic soup), water with a few pieces of garlic is unfortunately not garlic sauce, 1 starter was forgotten, pizza was OK, it's a shame about the ox, it used to be a great restaurant.

We were surprised at how well the successor to Restaurant Ochsen cooks! We ate there several times and the food was very tasty and beautifully presented! The service is also very nice! The tables are also beautiful with white tablecloths and napkins! Simply great

Very nice garden courtyard, super tasty pizzas, large selection of other dishes such as meat, fish but also sausage and cheese salad. Friendly and well-positioned employees. Dessert selection including fine cakes, a great alternative. Good price-performance ratio. Gladly again.

Very nice staff and excellent food

The restaurant is located in an old building and is equipped accordingly. The food is relatively expensive, mostly Italian. Unfortunately my Cordon Bleu was a little too dry, but it was still very delicate and beautifully presented. The waitress didn't speak German very well, but she still understood us.

Today we were able to celebrate our first communion at the oxen. We were extremely satisfied. Great service, very good cuisine. You immediately felt comfortable. Thanks to the whole team for the great hospitality.

We had lunch with the family. One star is deducted because of the long wait (waiting for the menu, food and the bill). The food was OK, unfortunately the pizza dough wasn't completely cooked through (soggy), hence a star deduction here. Maybe there was too much going on that day (sunny, on the terrace). I'll be happy to change my mind next time if things get better and adjust the rating accordingly.

Real Italian cuisine in Switzerland!

Today, Saturday, December 19th, 2020, we spontaneously had lunch at the Ochsen. The welcome was warm and we were informed when we were assigned tables that the tables had been disinfected. The food was very tasty and the hospitality was great. We would like to come again.

Covid-19 super spreader On November 30th In 2020 we made reservations for 2 people. The restaurant was full and our table was not disinfected by the previous guests. The serving lady constantly pushed the mask over her nose and then immediately touched plates, napkins, cutlery, etc. She came very close. The food was excellent. 10 days later we both tested positive for Covid-19. Since we haven't been out anywhere else, the case is clear. How many people had to share the same experience on November 30th, 2020? A pity

We were guests in mid-October and were very satisfied The appetizers and pizzas were great and the service was friendly and prompt Price performance top and the BAG's Corona regulations have been implemented in an exemplary manner we can only recommend the restaurant

Very unfriendly staff, had to wait a long time. Guests are predominantly Yugos, as are the staff. Tables very dirty and unhygienic. You should avoid this Balkan restaurant if you are looking for hospitality!

It's always nice and warm at Schobers. The food is sensational and the service is top notch.

The Ochsen is as much a part of Thal as the Buechberg and in the cozy, familiar atmosphere of the restaurant you almost feel at home. Anita and Hansi Schober are wonderful hosts who complement each other so well that the furnishings, service and food form a great whole. The service is helpful and discreet, the food and wine are a delight! The fish cuisine is particularly recommended.

Always very nice and attentive service. Very finely prepared dishes, the vegetables are always well cooked and taste exactly like what they are. Everything is beautifully presented and served on hot plates. Pleasant atmosphere.

Good and very nice facilities. Welcome from the boss was very friendly. Service was friendly but not that attentive. Price/performance ratio was OK, rather in the higher segment. More suitable for occasions and less for regular visits. The food was good but not amazing. Steak on point, vegetables unfortunately too hard and you can't go wrong with French fries. Definitely worth a visit...

This restaurant is really great :) The food is excellent and the silence there is simply wonderful. The only flaw is the service. She could be a little nicer. But otherwise a great restaurant :)
