Olio Design in Genève

El restaurante y el bar son caros. . Y este se siente. el momento en que uno entra en Diseño Olio. . Un diseño más exclusivo. y sin duda algo que no volvería a ver en Ginebra con un olivo en medio del restaurante, el lugar merece la pena una visita para ver algo diferente a la típica oferta de ginebra.

Wij kwamen zeer regelmatig met veel plezier in dit smakelijke en zeer betaalbare restaurant Olio Design in- Rue du Rhone-Geneva. Afgelopen 16/4 konden wij hen niet telefonische bereiken, dus gingen wij langs. HELAAS, voor een gesloten deur wegens faillissement. Bespaar U de trip.

Olio hace ningún secreto a ser caros. Es casi un ritual, la ingesta aguda de respiración. parece más como uno de los muchos bares un poco extraños categoría de Ginebra (ninguno de ellos cualquier ambiente) con un grande, obviamente falsa olivo en el medio.El servicio puede ser desesperadamente lento, pero la comida vale la pena esperar: realmente siente absolutamente fresco. todo luvvie muy encantadora y muy.Te encantará (los sibaritas, luvvies club) o lo odias (en la tierra, los turistas).

Die Inneneinrichtung zeichnet, einfach weil es anders, als man normalerweise in Genf siehe's. der Service ist jedoch in Ordnung, und das Essen ist in Ordnung. Ich wünschte, dass der Service und das Essen waren erstklassig und die Umgebung.

I garganelli con branzino asparagi e bottarga erano, purtroppo, scotti... e il locale era abbastanza deserto, per cui metteva un po' di tristezza... Peccato: un ristorante Italiano che scuoce la pasta delude, anche se a Ginevra. Il branzino ordinato come secondo invece era buono, nulla da eccepire. Idem per la macedonia di frutta fresca.

Easily my favourite upper-end Italian restaurant outside Italy, Olio Design brings together the freshest of seasonal ingredients in slightly off-beat combinations, with great success (whence my request to Trip Advisor to add it to their list).The menu is always intriguing, but frankly I tend to leave it to the chef to choose: Ask him to create an antipasto (meat, fish or vegetarian, or a mix) and you may find crayfish carpaccio and crisp raw artichokes alongside thin strips of veal. Pastas are rich, but in smallish portions - the large raviolis with various seasonal fillings are particularly delicious. Lots of truffle around the meat, not overwhelming so much as complementary. And for dessert definitely ask for the orgeat (almond essence) granita.Wines from the list are pricey - they often have good wines open by the glass, that can give you a good tasting and food-pairing.There is none of the ktsch or pomp associated with expensive Italian eateries. The style is laid-back and comfortable, more like a trattoria designed to be part of your house. high ceilings leave room for two screens playing '70s Italian movies, silently so as to leave space for the intimate conversations. Quiet and smiling service is attentive but not invasive.
