My favorite restaurant in Olten! The lunch buffet is varied and highly recommended. The food is always fresh, typically oriental and incredibly delicious!

I haven't had such friendly service in ages! And good authentic food.

I've been to the Oreint Restaurant Olten several times and no matter what I tried, it was a culinary delight! I highly recommend the mex plate with salad, because the salad dressing is homemade and tastes incredibly delicious. Price-performance is unbeatable and service is simply top. I received a very warm welcome as a guest and will come back soon!

We had high expectations based on the reviews… unfortunately it was disappointing, the food was below average. Service was great and very accommodating.

Shwarma is my favorite meal for example (the chicken has no flavor 😖on it , the bread was so soft quickly breaks in halb when i tried to hold it. and seriously it was a mess and he doesn't do humus and toum on it tasted weird too) do but The food was ok not like i was wanted i served and i told i need more saure garlic he just do for me only 2 pieces and the salad has no taste at all so salt on it and on the table was not black prefer and salt and the owner was weird too.The music was low too. It was expensive 57 chf too for nothing. I think i won't come back again there.😣

They were very nice with us. We brought 2 children and they brought a baby chair for the baby and the 2 little ones didn't pay for lunch and they ate a little. The food is mostly fresh and the eggplant, peppers and yogurt cream were the best things from the buffet. The employee is nice and friendly. We liked it

Extra 1.5 Hours travelled to Olten for this Restaurant. Every door was closed. It was during the opening hours but no sign was on the door and nobody answered my phone.

First-class restaurant - super friendly, attentive service, who even moved a table so you could sit outside. The food is first class; tasty and great value for money. There was so much for 20 francs that it was enough to take away and as a second lunch. Looking forward to next time.

You can find almost find every thing: salads, manaqish, falafel, rice, meat, side dis he’s, main courses, dessert. The atmosphere is nice, the personnel is kind and friendly. They restaurant is located at the heart of old town. Prices are correct. Quality price rate is super. Unique in the area.

Eat like you're on a pilgrimage through the Middle East! It was a great pleasure, we ordered a platter with various specialties, from kibbeh to mutabel and much more. In addition, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy. the portions are very generous.

It's true my favorite restaurant but since Ismael is no longer there it has become more expensive at first but that doesn't bother me... but now the food is no longer as great as it was at the beginning.. the menus are smaller and I don't like the attention to detail The humus was very rancid last time😅 but I'll give them another chance before I never go again.

What was good: - very friendly service. - didn't have to wait long. - big portion What wasn't so good: - the rice didn't taste freshly made. - although the waitress was super nice, he touched the cutlery and glasses with his hands where we touch them with our mouths. So unhygienic. - The store has a strong wood-like feel because the entire interior was decorated with Euro pallets.

Lovers of oriental food must definitely visit this restaurant. Inconspicuous from the outside, but even more enchanting from the inside. The lunch buffet invites you to overeat because you want to try a bit of everything. The owner greeted us personally and exchanged a few nice words with us.

Don't let the decor put you off. The food is wonderful, the price is cheap and the service is very nice.

I can't put into words how great this little restaurant's owner and family are. We eat there very regularly and have never been disappointed. Great vegetarian and vegan plates. Everything fresh and prepared with a lot of love. Highly recommended, especially on the terrace in summer. Large portions, great value for money!
