We were there in August last year.Very nice place, nice view, CLEAN and the food was very good, the best risotto in Switzerland "for me" friendly staff all very nice and I forgot my hand bag the Moroccan cellar brought us back.

Never had such good freshly prepared saffron risotto. Extremely recommended 🙂 Likewise ambience. And totally friendly employees. The place is now full. Will come back.

We were inside. It's very small and noisy. The dishes are quite generous, the pasta sauce was too salty, the fried lake fish was very good. But are there salmon in the lake? The potatoes accompanying the fish were not good, overcooked, almost burnt. The salad was very good. The price is well above normal for this quality but it's right on the lake!

Location by the lake very nice. The whole restaurant lacks professionalism and some attention to detail. You don't really feel like a guest. Service staff inattentive and stressed. The end of the day is more important than satisfied guests and/or tips. There are no minimal Covid rules here.

Abbiamo mangiato per la prima volta in questo ristorante, piatti discreti ma attesa troppo lunga. Un'ora abbondante tra l'antipasto e il primo, anche no grazie. A saperlo prendevamo giusto l'aperitivo, ma forse neanche quello visto che il cameriere si è fatto pizzicare mettere il ghiaccio a mani nude nei bicchieri! Nessuna scusa neanche al momento del conto. La cameriera (forse la gerente) ha saputo far del suo sorriso smagliante il suo biglietto da visita (ironico). A mai più!

Arrivé à ce restaurant sans réservation, ils nous ont organisé une table rapidement et avec le sourire. Les suggestions du chef et la carte spécialement orientée mets Poisson frais du lac sont excellents. Même pour les carnivores, il y a le filet de bœuf Angus (100% recommandé). Service chaleureux, nourriture excellente et cadre en face du lac magnifique!

Wir waren zu viert essen und haben es genossen. Meine Seezunge mit Gemüse war hervorragend, vorab ein Salat. Eine Spezialität scheint Fisch in der Salzkruste zu sein, sah gut aus am Nebentisch. Wir haben uns Wohlgefühl, die Bedienung war aufmerksam und die Lage am See ohnehin herrlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Idéalement situé sur la promenade longeant le lac de Locarno, ce restaurant est spécialisé en poissons, en particulier cuit en croûte de sel. Savoureux ( bien sûr cela a un certain prix mais quelle qualité !).

Au bord du lac, dans un cadre magnifique, nous avons pu déguster un inoubliable bar ("branzino") cuit en croûte de sel, accompagné de légumes croquants, avec un très bon vin au verre (pinot grigio du Tessin). Desserts fait maison très réussis et surtout, un service très sympathique et impeccable ! Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons !

Fish, pesce, poisson: 3 words, 1 lust

Hier wird nicht nur gut gekocht sondern man fühlt sich auch gut aufgehoben. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch. Die Atmosphäre ist freundlich und entspannt, einfach zum wohlfühlen. Hinzu die schöne Lage direkt am See - was will man mehr.

Auch wenn bei unserer Ankunft das Restaurant innen wie aussen schon gut besucht war, bekamen wir auch ohne Reservation einen Platz zugewiesen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen (Polenta mit Steinpilzen) u gemischter Salat war frisch zubereitet u grosszügig portioniert. Die Preise an die Schweizer Verhältnisse angepasst.

Welch Atmosphäre! Der Tisch, wie gewünscht, direkt am See. Und wenn Sie Platz genommen haben, genießen Sie erst einmal den Ausblick über den See, trinken Sie dazu einen ausgesprochen gut gemachten Veneto. (Aperol mit Weißwein und Soda). Das Restaurant hat eine wirklich spektakuläre Lage. Als Vorspeise gab es ein Rindstatar (CHF 18,00), der Geschmack des hochwertigen Fleisches stand eindeutig im Vordergrund, es war nicht überwürzt.Die Spaghettini mit Venusmuscheln (CHF 26,00) hatten einen angenehm leicht salzigen, nussigen Geschmack, es muss nicht betont werden, dass die Nudeln auf dem Punkt waren.Leider gab es mein erhofftes Gericht, nämlich Steinbutt nach mediterraner Art, heute nicht, es gibt nur ausgesprochen frischen Fisch und da kann es vorkommen, dass der gewünschte Fisch nicht vorrätig ist. Stattdessen dann die Dover Seezunge grilliert oder mit Butter, Zitrone und Kapern (CHF 42,00), ich entschied mich für die in Butter gebratene Seezunge.Diese war von der Größe her, ich schätze 300 - 350 Gramm, dem Preis angemessen, gleiche Qualität ist in München bei dem besten Fischhändler zu diesem Preis nicht zu bekommen.Die Seezunge begeisterte mit zartem, aber festem Fleisch und mild-würzigem, ebenfalls leicht nussigem Geschmack. Leider weiß ich den Namen unseres Obers nicht mehr. Auch er hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir rundum zufrieden waren. Seine Weinempfehlung war hervorragend, sein Service diskret, aber aufmerksam. Noch einmal an alle Mitarbeiter vielen Dank für diesen in jeder Hinsicht genussvollen Abend.Zusammenfassend: Außergewöhnliche Küche, fantastische Weinkarte, perfekter Service, einzigartige Seelage.

Finalmente un posticino favoloso dove andare a mangiare in Ticino!Osteria? Per noi è piuttosto un ristorantino di pesce eccezionale! Probabilmente il ristorante con la terrazza vista lago la più bella che abbia mai visto in Ticino!Stuzzichino in entrata e olio d’oliva extra vergine biologico con aceto di qualità a tavola. Persico del Lago maggiore con risottino favoloso accompagnato da pregiatissimo Franciacorta a bicchiere e altro ancora ... In estate se siete fortunati comenoi c’è pure il gelato alla vaniglia con mirtilli di bosco! Impareggiabile... e la gerenza come il personale di servizio è veramente al top! Nous avons fait une pause café un matin. La terrasse le long du lac offre une vue magnifique et était très calme. Nous avons passé un bon moment

Segnalatomi da un amico brissaghese doc, ho avuto la fortuna di scoprire questo gioiellino della ristorazione e dell’accoglienza (concetti che devono andare di pari passo, ma non è sempre così...), dove l’accezione “pieds dans l’eau” non è solo un modo di dire da dépliant turistico: alcuni tavoli sono proprio a pochi centimetri dal favoloso Lago Maggiore. Arrivarci in barca a vela (ormeggiando al comodo pontile a pochi metri dal ristorante) aggiunge poi quella sensazione di libertà in più. La nuova generazione Boato (Corinna in testa) ha dimostrato di aver fatto tesoro del patrimonio storico di famiglia in termini di gastronomia e, soprattutto, di attaccamento al lago e alle ricchezze che esso produce. Pesce fresco presentato in modo assolutamente rispettoso della materia prima, all’insegna del noto precetto secondo cui se il prodotto è buono e genuino, meno lo tocchi e meglio è. Si vede anche qualche tentativo di innovazione, e la strada è quella giusta. La scelta dei vini potrebbe invero essere ampliata. Il servizio è cortese ed efficace. Si vede che la macchina è ben collaudata. Al timone la giovane gerente si dimostra capace e sicura. Si intuiscono enormi potenzialità di crescita e il “progetto Boato” (in tutte le sue declinazioni) sarà una storia da seguire con interesse nel panorama della ristorazione di questa regione. Per chi viene da un altro lago (a sud del Ceneri...) il confronto tra le rispettive offerte è impietoso. Dunque, arrivederci a presto Boato!

Kurz einfach zu empfehlen! Direkt am Wasser. Sehr freundlicher Kellner, leckeres Essen. Wir haben etwas länger auf den Hauptgang gewartet, was aber keine Rolle spielte, da die Vorspeise sehr üppig war. Preis Leistung stimmt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Mille Grazie!

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden von einem freundlichen Personal bedient. Sie liessen sich den Stress nicht anmerken... Es war bestimmt nicht der letzte Besuch.

Ottima la cucina, no la pizza, esercizio aperto da mesi ma la gerente non è all'altezza. Tovaglioli di carta, con il caffée nemmeno un biscottino, non viene dato neppure un amuse buche...che dire, non ci ritornerei malgrado io abbia mangiato benissimo, sia il fritto di lago che la pasta con carbonara di gamberoni. In posti tipo questo il dettaglio deve fare la differenza, ma qui il dettaglio non c'è. Per contro , gentilissimo e preparato il cameriere

Obwohl frühzeitig reserviert - lausiger Tisch bekommen! Höflich wartend beim Empfang, bleibt man mehr als 5 Minuten stehen, so zwischen Gehweg, vorbei spazierenden Touristen und See! Vorspeise und Fisch bestellt, brachte die Küche lediglich durchschnittliches zustande! Auf jeden Fall stimmte das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht. Das beste war der Apero, Campari Soda und die Aussicht.

Location molto bella, completamente sul lago!! Cameriere e servizio buono! Piatti semplice ma buoni.

Le restaurant est très bien placé et la vue est effectivement belle. La propriétaire est très aimable et fait un effort excellent pour parler français. Le service est efficace et les plat servis promptement. Le gazpacho est délicieux, ainsi que les soles qui sont de toute première qualité. Quant aux légumes: croquants et savoureux. Les desserts sont tout aussi bons. Les prix, certes un peu chers, sont probablement justifiés par l’emplacement. Le menu est varié offrant salades, soupes, pâtes fraîches, viandes et poissons, et les vins sont corrects: une bonne adresse.

Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant, flotter freundlicher Service und alle Vorspeisen sehr gut und fein angerichtet. Empfehlenswert der Ziegenkäse mit Salat und auch der Salat mit Champignons. Sehr gutes Brot!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein schöner Frūhlimgabend in den FerienEin Nachtessen der Extraklasse . der Fisch war exzelent ,dazu Reis mit einem Hauch Limone . Sehr guter Wein . Zum Dessert Schokoterrine.ein Gedicht, und das ganze zu fairen Preisen , in schönem Ambiente.Und zum Schluss der Kellner freundiich , kompetent . Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Als regelmässiger Gast kann ich dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Super Service, ausgezeichnetes Essen. Dass das Restaurant von Einheimischen mit Liebe geführt wird, merkt man, einfach alles stimmt.

Wir waren mit Freunden im August dort zum Abendessen, als wir ankamen kam der Fischer Giovanni Palmieri mit dem boot vorbei und brachte frisch gefangene fische, die etwa 30' danach, ausgezeichnet zubereitet, präsentiert und gekocht, in unseren Teller lagen. Die Bedienung war sehr gut. Die Lage am Seeufer fide ich fabelhaft.

Fisch in der Salzkruste ist die Spezialität des Hauses und diese sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen. Das Gericht wird im Boato in Perfektion zubereitet. Bei schönem Wetter unbedingt einen Tisch auf der Terrasse reservieren, Aussicht und Stimmung am Abend sind unglaublich schön.

All seafood selections are fresh. The service is attentive, jovial and experienced.We'd recommend this spot any time of the season.

This Osteria at the Brissago shore offers the whole variety of great location, tasteful interior design and furnishing, excellent professional service by the owner herself and tremendous quality dishes and all at fair prices. The owner is indeed blessed with a terrific kitchen crew and, I am wondering why this Restaurant is not yet 1st-ranked in Brissago?

Very good but menu not very extensive

We ate very well. The dishes were well cooked and well presented. Fresh lake fish caught by Giovanni Palmieri. The service was of excellent quality. The location and environment are fantastic. The locally produced white wine is also good, a curious combination of Merlot and Petite Arvine grapes.

Leuk klein restaurantjes met zicht op het meer. Vooral vis specialiteiten en niet vergeten te reserveren. Is aan de iets prijzgere kant en niet voor gewoon een snelle hap. Hier komt het iets betere volk zijn vis gerechten zoeken.

Frische Seezunge und Zanderfilet perfekt auf den Punkt gebracht. Herzliche Bewirtung rundete das leckere Essen gelungen ab.
