Went by yesterday at around 1:00 p.m. and sat on the terrace. The waitress passed by the table twice without greeting us and 2 tables further away, 3 people were able to order food. I went inside to ask if we could eat and was told that the kitchen closed at 2 p.m. We left…. ☹️ So 1 star for the service, not even deserved! Damage…

My husband and I stopped in this grotto given the good reviews and we didn't have a good time. The braised meat with polenta is decidedly bad. Plus it's hard and floats in a really inappropriate liquid sauce. I had polenta and gorgonzola with pears, passable but I wouldn't recommend it. Not a single cheese or salami appears on the very limited menu. Good thing it's a grotto. We point out to the lady that the braised meat is not good. She smiles, makes no comment or tries to understand more and leaves. The bill arrives with both dishes ordered included. Not even an "I'm sorry" or "I can offer you a coffee". Total indifference. The environment isn't very charming even though it is located in the center of a beautiful, characteristic village. I hope this is a temporary problem because the reviews speak of a good level which however we did not find

Wir waren zum Nachtessen in dieser Osteria. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und auch sehr schön angerichtet! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Osteria wird seit Januar neu von einer Familie geführt, deren Sohn als Koch grossartige Speisen zaubert und auch mal das Essen an den Tisch bringt.
