Osteria del Ponte in Acquarossa

Very cozy little restaurant with a counter. Rustic, authentic. Well staffed with local craftsmen who had their lunch. I only had one drink, but I was able to observe how familiar the interaction was between the landlady and the guests. Everything was quick and wordy and cheerful. The plates with the food looked very fine and richly filled. The smell from the kitchen was so seductive that I regretted not having enough time to dine here. By the way, the prices for German-speaking Swiss are more than moderate! If I come back to this region, another visit is guaranteed!

Nice little village restaurant. Felt very welcome. I was traveling alone by bike. I asked where I could stay overnight nearby. The nice landlady asked various hotels nearby for me whether they still had space. After three unsuccessful phone calls, she found a place on the Lucomagno, about a 2-hour drive, and described the route to me in detail. It was already 5 p.m. and I had to ride my bike about 1000 meters to the finish. The landlady called after 3.5 hours and asked if I had arrived. I am very grateful to the lovely landlady and will never forget her. If I travel to Ticino again, I will definitely visit and eat there.

This little restaurant belongs to a very nice lady. I've rarely encountered a person that nice ever before. She made food for our little group of friends, we've been hiking in the area. She even helped us deliver the food to our friends in another village nearby. All that for such a good price! This made my day.

Cozy village tavern with simple but quality cuisine

Simple but cute and helps maintain life in the village.

Even today we ate well and it was a relaxing moment. In addition to the residents, tourists also stop for an ice cream or a 'taiada' of excellent local cured meats and cheeses. There is always movement but never stress. 😀

Located in a place in the Blenio valley, very sunny, nice, simple, welcoming environment, excellent cook and cheerful waitress 😃 I also recommend it to those who are just passing through!

I can understand many things, but when a place closes for one reason or another, you shouldn't just block the phone number, but maybe, just maybe, report the closure?! Also because the website says it is still open. Waste of time. Shameful!

The kindness and availability of the nice girl (at 3.00 pm she offered to cook us a risotto or fresh gnocchi) pleasantly surprised us. We "satisfied" ourselves with a local mixed cold cut, fresh goat's cheeses and zero km alp cheese. Everything tasty and excellent. I recommend a stop and a few words with her, an authentic one-of-a-kind.
