We had dinner at this Grotto And I found a hair in my pizza, I didn't even receive an apology or a "I'm sorry" but the worst part is that they made me pay for it even though I left it... It can happen, we are human but then you make up for it by offering a digestive or coffee if not totally dinner.. Never again!

Returning from a holiday in Zurich we were looking for a place to stop for dinner before continuing our return to Italy. We stumbled upon this place by chance and the experience was positive and surprising. It is a typical Ticino grotto managed by a family originally from Sri Lanka and, for this reason, there are dishes from both gastronomic cultures. I wanted to give confidence to this union by specifically choosing the Sri Lankan rösti, composed of mashed potatoes, lamb, red curry and ginger. Really very good, potatoes cooked perfectly and the right spiciness of the meat with sauce. The service is informal but professional and precise, with friendly and helpful staff. I will happily stay here again if I'm in the area again and recommend it.

Obviously a Grotto in Ticino is not the best place for a vegetarian like me. I ate there with work colleagues and I must say that unlike other grottos visited in the surrounding area, Nando's has a much greater choice for vegetarians, which I appreciated very much. The environment is familiar and genuine, and the staff service is 5 stars!

We chose this place for the signature dish of the house, the rösti. Once we arrived, we were surprised to see the children's play corner (very useful for us parents). Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an appetizer (focaccia con crudo) while waiting for our first courses. The cordon bleu with rosti, the Appenzell rosti and the Indian ones are excellent. We will definitely be back very soon.
