As a chef of over 12 years, I have to say, decoration outshines all others 10/10. Food (game burger) SIMPLE, NO CHEAP GOODS (meat still had structure), SAUCE great, with tomato etc. For 9 CHF I was more than positively surprised 10/10. Everything 10/10, I'll be back and not alone! THANK YOU ♥️

Paddy's: The only restaurant in Winterthur that can call itself a cult. Especially in the run-up to Christmas with the decorations. And especially on evenings with live music. Conclusion: always happy.

Good food, great vibe, friendly staff

I had a great time at Paddy's O'Brien's Old Irish Pub in Winterthur. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the selection of drinks, particularly Irish whiskeys, is impressive. The live music created a great atmosphere and the authentic decor transported me straight to Ireland. A place I would love to visit again!

Great Beer selection, authentic looking pub and ambience, but the older guy behind the bar (manager) needs definitely some serious soft skills training on how to talk to customers. I stayed friendly, while he bombed me quite unfriendly with all the rules how to use the 3 tables I have reserved. My guests were puzzled too about this discussion he had with me. We spend CHF 350 that evening but it's definitely the last time I did a social event with friends there. However, I want to be fair and say that one out of the three barkeepers was really friendly. The other two were just as arrogant as their manager.

Location cool and unique in the area, beer of course great. But the one guy behind the bar doesn't work at all. When asked about getting another beer on the back terrace, the aggressive, snippy answer was: "I don't do table service!" I get it with Full House... but when there's nothing else to do, not really. You should ask yourself whether you are working in the right place. The rest of the staff was top notch.

Service was very unfriendly to me. You could say the innkeeper snapped at me. Just because another bartender asked me what I wanted to order after I tried to order from the previous one and he half ignored me. What can I do about it that I didn't see if he understood my order. Impudence! Very aggressive treatment. I'll think about going there again.

Typical Irish pub, lovingly furnished and great staff. Perfect for watching a game of any kind in good company or for having a beer after work

Not worth your time if you don't speak German. The bartender was dismissive when I ordered because I ordered in English, refused to give me my food, and openly mocked me for not understanding her questions. You'd be better served lighting $20 on fire than trying to come in here without your Deutsch.

Well, this is a real Irish Pub, with a very nice and warm atmosphere, located very centrally close to the train station. They serve a variety of local beer as well as classic options like stouts etc. In addition, they serve some pub food that is quite cheap yet pretty good.

The pub is great. The owners are extremely friendly and kind. I had questions about the pictures that were hung. There were pictures of one of my favorite bands hanging there. Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew and the band were visible in the pictures. The owners told me that someone had once been to this pub, etc. I had interesting conversations. It was very exciting.
