Nice little place to stop off for a coffee break in the Old Town. Didn't order any food as it was only coffee that i wanted, although some of the items on the menu and the pics in the reviews does make it tempting; perhaps next time. That's the reason for no rating on the food, sorry. Shame the mezzanine isn't extended further, seems such a waste that the high rooms wasn't utilised more.

Friendly environment, but terrible service. 20 minute wait for an espresso.

I went there on a Sunday, and it was packed. It was very hot and humid there which wasn't very pleasant. Despite everything, very nice place with books available, and very good pumpkin spice latte (not too sweet for once!)

It is a really nice and cozy place. I worked there for one day and I had an amazing experience. Calm, charming, good waiters, good food, good wifi connection... I recommend it for sure! Thanks! 😊

This place was surprisingly amazing and cozy. It was the last thing we expected and we were very happy to be here. It is a proper English cafe with scones and lots of jams. We had smoked salmon scone and a couple of other stuff and they were super yummy and delicious. The coffee was great too. Was nice and warm on a very windy and cold day. They have a huge collection of books for book lovers who love to spend hours to just relax and read and sip a cup of coffee.

So you can study or work here on the weekend but not with a laptop - only with pad and pen…. Doesn’t make much sense in 2024.

The best teas are Autumn Blend and Beautiful Bee, and don’t forget to try the scones. Especially the chocolate one with cream and chocolate spread. The place is lively, warm, good to work from and kinda the best English bookstore in town to buy new/used books surrounded by a delicious aromas of coffee and baked food.

Great experience in a place that takes you outside of Geneva (great decor). The teas and other drinks are really very high quality. The staff is very involved and professional. We had scones that were a little too dry. They decided to give us 3 extra ones with the correct baking so my friends could experience their excellent scones. It’s a much appreciated gesture that will make me come back often for all the qualities I have listed. Thank you for this moment and keep it up.

I arrived on a Friday morning with my dog and went in try to place the order, the lady told me her colleague would come to take my order, so I sat outside. 15 mins later still no one comes, not a busy time. I went in again with menu in hand , while another two ladies were also asking where to order… looks like they are very laid back, good working atmosphere, but yah … I just have to leave…

The place is nicely located in a side street. The ambience is also okay. Unfortunately, I waited more than 20 minutes to order coffee and paid 6.50 Fr. for coffee with almond milk. I work in service, among other things, and I have a lot of understanding, especially when there is a lot going on. So I was a little disappointed. However, the positive thing is the motivated staff and the coffee was also delicious. Recommended for a cozy break.

Very nice place! Cozy and beautiful, feels like you're chilling at home. The coffee tastes great and I only had the scones but I'll definitely be back to taste the other pastries. I wish it stayed open a bit longer!

There were second-hand books in the corner on the upper floor. The shop owner and clerk were attentive, chatted with me, and were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the store is good and comfortable, suitable for reading a book alone or with friends, and eating delicious waffles. The green tea latte is delicious.

Great cafe with a very cozy atmosphere and really good coffee and hot chocolate. Located very conveniently right close to everything in the old town of Genève. There is a policy of not allowing laptops on the weekend however so be warned. I'm sadly giving -3 stars for not communicating that to me until I was already seated and about to order, while this is one of the first results when you search for a study cafe, it felt like a bait and switch. In this case this ought to be mentioned on a sign outside, and on here.

A very cozy coffee/tea place in old town Geneva to unwind or just chill. They serve wonderful coffee and warm scones. Staff are welcoming and spoke English. There are second hand books available to read or to buy for CHF5.

It's a very sweet book cafe in Geneva. the atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff is very sympathetic. the low ceiling height can sometimes make the space too cramped. I recommend their tea. and the crumble was delicious.

Absolutely lovely place ! So cozy and unique. It feels like such a calm and safe place. I was able to sit and read my book and my friend bought some books and CDs. We both had a scone and coffee, and the scone was absolutely divine. Well priced for Geneva too which is good if you’re a student or travelling on a low budget.

The place looks lovely but I am rating it low due to the attitude of the waiting staff. We were welcomed by an unwarranted and snarky remark from the person showing us to our table. We were then forgotten there for a long time before having to stop a waitress so we could order. The coffees are small, expensive and arrived cold. We were told that the place was closing around 5 minutes before closing time with the waitress telling us she "forgot" to tell us earlier. Fair enough. As we didn't finish our drinks we took a few minutes to do that and were then told that as they had closed "it would be great if we could leave". It's fair to tell customers they need to leave at closing time, but there are different ways and attitudes to do that. I'm happy to spend more for nice ambiance and excellent service, but this isn't it.

Very cute place! Lots of great book options. Has some alternative milks. Sad that there are zero vegan options for food and snacks. Otherwise I'd give more stars.

A new renovated coffee place with many books for reading and buying. Loved it

It was strange, I stood at the entrance in front of the "wait here" sign and no one approached me for a long time. The waiter has a strange accent and I didn't immediately understand his question, which was a bit confusing. But overall the cafe is very nice. There were no seats in the first hall and upstairs, so we had to be in the children's area, which is not comfortable at all.

The waiters and waitress are top notch, the young guy called Loris...is top notch, smile business and youth!!

I love this place but on week-ends we’re not allowed to use laptops. Very inconvenient given I work the whole week and can only enjoy some time to work on my personal projects during the weekend. It is literally the only reason why I don’t go there now. This rule should be removed.

Super cute cafe with a great selection of teas and coffees. I’ve been here a few times before. They have a wider selection on fiction books in English. The non-fiction section is much smaller, but still decent.

The Chinese Tea and Scones were good. But the staff didn’t allow me to use iPad on Sundays even i just needed to check some files….. it was nice place to refresh in 10-15 minutes, not a pleasant place to stay for afternoon.( I understand it was a long queue on weekends).

Unique café in the old town of Geneva. The concept is awesome; a book store that serves food and coffees. Gives a coziness like in no other place. Coffee is very good; staff is very pleasant! Note that since it is a bookstore; you cannot take the book and reading while having your coffee. You need to buy it first. Definitely worth a visit!

I really like this place but they always seem to be out of the regular scones. They should definitely have a larger supply if the demand is so high.

Buy books by their cover. The books are beautiful with options beyond British authors. In addition, you can enjoy a coffee and eat scones. There is a session for second-hand books by 5chf each — although in a very-very limited genre variation.

Excellent staff attention. They even speak Spanish. The place is very nice, the atmosphere is excellent. Very good quality of products... although the turmeric paste is not so good. The energy and attitude of the waiters was super good.

The first experience was perfect. The scones were delicious. The second experience was subpar. The pots of cream and jam were half empty. Damage. Magnificent setting. Highly recommended.

This is the cutest café. The concept is amazing and the seating areas even greater. The staff is fun, friendly and active. They are everything you want when you are a business owner. Coffee was amazing and everything looked so good. I wish I was hungrier when I visited it. Keep the good work !

Went there and was greeted by a lady ( she was eating). I asked to be seated upstairs and she said it was closed for renovations and directed me to the downstairs sitting. I sat for 45 minutes, not a single soul came to take my order. The lady that greeted me, came to clear some dishes and it was that point that she asked me what I wanted. I asked for OJ and a scone and she said there wasn’t any OJ but would get me strawberry juice. I sat for another 30’ and still nothing. I left and on my way out told the lady that I had waited for over an hour and still nothing. She seemed confused and wondered why I hadn’t got my coffee ( I didn’t order coffee). I’ve been there before and a short and bubble lady has been amazing , but todays service was HORRIBLE at best.

Every single thing we ordered was fantastic! Salmon scones and fruit scones with jam were soooo good. Partner’s caramel macchiato and my French press coffee were easily the best we have had in a very long time, strongly recommend!

As an English-speaker, I was first drawn to Pages & Sips in order to browse the books, but this place is so much more than that and is a fantastic café in its own right. The staff are all extremely friendly and chatty, and the variety of scones, teas, and coffees is fantastic. Now one of my favourite spots in Geneva, and I make a point of visiting whenever I'm nearby or just in look of a relaxed afternoon flicking through a book.

I loved the afternoon i spend in that coffe shop. I bought books and had a really good talk with my friends. That Bookstor/Coffeeshop is so cozy and i am defenetely going again. Unfortunately I don't have much time left to go because I am going back to Berne at the end of the month. I hope I can find something similar there. Cause I fell in Love <3

Lovely coffee shop / book store located in a quiet area in the heart of Geneva. The service is fabulous, and the drinks (coffee, iced coffee, juices…) are great. Also, it’s fairly priced. Fully recommended

Love this shop and cafe. Our coffee order did get mixed up, and prices were really expensive but the place is lovely enough to treat ourselves. We loved the bookshop atmosphere, even bought a book about the history of Geneva to my son's delight.

A great discovery for a little brunch or a coffee break! The English-speaking staff is very friendly! THE Just wonderful scones. They arrived hot and so good with the cream and strawberry jam! Another thing, it’s not easy to find cappuccino served with almond milk. They have them here too! A very nice experience!
