The marrow bone with fleur de sel was simply divine! But the very best thing was the service. I can't remember receiving such friendly, competent and personable service. Her name is Dina and she does a great and exceptional job. The restaurant was fully booked on Friday evening but she looked after the guests in a very calm and charming manner and ensured that we had a wonderful evening in the palace. Dina is worth her weight in gold for this restaurant and it's nice to see that there are still employees who enjoy their job. Thank you for the lovely evening and we would love to come back.

We were looking for a fine restaurant in Biel near the train station and came across the Palace. Externally rather modest and not well written (lighting probably broken). When we got inside we were promptly greeted in a very friendly manner and taken to our reserved table. (It's worth making a reservation) The staff is very friendly and attentive. For dinner we first had the lobster soup and then the Chateaubriand and the other two the saddle of venison. But first there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen. Unfortunately the wine we wanted was drunk, but the service gave us great advice and made a good recommendation. There's not much you can say about the food other than that it was very fine and nicely prepared, simply TOP. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for dessert because we had to get on the train. One thing is clear, I/we will be back very soon. Thank you very much! PS: Price/performance more than fair!

We returned to this restaurant a second time. Having last time eaten in the brasserie which, without being incredible, left us with very good memories, we decided to book this time at the Gourmet. To explain, the palace restaurant has two different “rooms” but also two very different styles of menus, depending on whether you book in the Brasserie or the Gourmet. First of all, a point that is very important to me in a restaurant is the welcome and therefore the Service ultimately. The lady had to improvise a bit to find us a place to sit, even though we were booked in advance, which wasn't a big deal since she quickly found a solution. The lady who served us, bilingual, very professional and competent, was able to wonderfully capture our needs throughout the meal, which in itself is a big plus, which unfortunately you don't find everywhere. We took a “menu with style” which consists of 5 courses, all quite delicious, we asked for a suggested wine accompaniment, for each course. We were amazed by the quality of the food but also by the wines, each one more good than the other, worthy of a starred restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm, the Gourmet room is magnificent. I would happily return to this restaurant. I recommend the same thing to any lover of good cuisine, to anyone looking for quality and perfectionism.
