Excellent bakery. Products are very tasty. Nice place for having a relaxing coffee with a very fine "Mandel-Gipfeli". I couldn't resist to saying "Yes" to the temptating "Speck und Zwiebel Wähen". The coffee is unfortunately a bit modest in taste, not up to the standard of other products. The coffee shop is a cozy environment. Friendly staff. Prices are average for Switzerland. Also open on Sunday.

I was there yesterday and treated myself to breakfast at Panello. The service was top! Very friendly and accommodating. The sandwich I ordered and ate here was really fresh. The bun was crispy and the toppings weren't skimped on either. Add a wonderful cappuccino and the day is off to a great start. It was a great experience. Gladly again!

CHF 7.60 for a cappuccino and a croissant in self-service - the quality is very good - with the very direct request to actually do everything yourself (order, bring it to the table, bring it back), I don't think it's appropriate, even in inflationary times. Especially since we are less than 10 km from the German border and at the same time far from the center of Zurich. It's a shame, because I actually like the place...

2 francs for it is ridiculously ridiculous, and it's probably better in terms of quality or taste than anywhere else. To be honest, migro butter croissants are finer than the lye croissants. If the only thing you want is the surrounding area, it will of course be a good idea to fit you.

Wonderful bakery! Wonderful strawberry tarts

One of Eglisau's best if not the best within the Bulach/Rhein region. The bread, the coffee, the chocolaterie, the produce are all made with love. Whether sipping coffee inside or on the terrace, there's no place like Panello. Homey, quaint feeling for a compact place. They also offer baking lessons for groups.

Croissants sometimes dry and taste like they were from the day before, price the same!

The quality of the products has decreased significantly. However, prices too. Early in the morning sometimes the bakers serve personally... because the saleswomen are still too tired for that.

The waitress obviously didn't feel like working. Kindness is different. 4 croissants and a bread for over 22.- I was there three times. The first, only and last time. I hope the bread tastes better than the croissants

Top quality but way too expensive. CHF 11.20 for a small Epiphany cake (wreath with 6 rolls) and CHF 3.- for a relatively small chocolate roll is very steep.

Unfortunately, it has worn off badly. The nut peaks used to be very different from the German ones. Back then at least around 50% nut mixture and only 50% dough. Today, like the German nut peaks: 25% nut mixture and 75% dough. If any. I find that very bad and for me it only has to do with “the main thing is that the customer stuffs themselves”. The quality falls by the wayside. Very disappointing!

The products are actually quite ok. You just pay a different price for the same thing every time. I don't know whether they can't do math, don't know how much things cost, or simply deliberately overcharge each time, but then charge differently. I'd rather go get my croissants at Migros.

Didn't really feel welcome as a customer for most purchases. Only in exceptional cases did I receive friendly service. The waitress took the cake the last time I went shopping: When I briefly looked at the card terminal to pay with the card and then looked up again, the waitress disappeared without thanks and without saying goodbye. The products are good, but they also have an above-average price.

First and last time in this bakery. Fortunately, there are several and some who treat their customers with joy and professionalism. I wanted to buy a delicious cake for a snack and consciously decided to go to a small bakery to support them during these difficult times. When I entered the small shop, two employees looked me up and down suspiciously. If I hadn't said hello, I would have been totally ignored. I wanted to march right back out. Then I chose a small lemon Gugelhopf (diameter less than 15cm, they still call it big!) whose price almost blew me away: CHF 20.80. If the service and the entire environment had been a little friendlier and more inviting, I would have been able to get over the expensive Gugelhopf. But I was literally made to feel unwelcome and was then punished with an overpriced cake. It was a very bad experience that I had there and I will definitely never go back there. It's a shame actually, the cake tasted very good. But with this kind of unkindness that you encounter there, I give up the fine cake. I'd rather spend my money where I'm welcome, other bakers also bake delicious cakes!

Price-performance is not right for me. I happened to drive past the bakery yesterday and thought I would buy some bread there. This was my second time in this bakery... I paid a whopping CHF 10.40 for half a loaf of bread (I think it was Unterland bread or something similar…) and a small cranberry roll. The bread was fine, but the bun was very dry and had little flavor. There wasn't much of a noticeable cranberry either... For me, the prices like those at Sprüngli are not appropriate in this bakery. It's a shame that a village pool is so expensive. I actually like supporting local businesses, but not like this….

The bakery had delicious products, but I won't go there anymore because people are excluded. If someone cannot wear a mask for health reasons, they must provide a certificate. Eglisau - is always worth a trip - especially since it is home to one of the best bakeries in the region - because the bakery's production is open to the counter, you can watch the bread artists and smell this happy mixture of yeast. , steam and roasted aromas that whet your appetite and desire for that first bite of one of the many handcrafted, fresh breads in the most relishable way.

This small but fine bakery is right on the main street in Eglisau. Excellent baked goods and delicious coffee. There is also seating inside, but these are not allowed to be used at the moment due to the Corona crisis. Particularly noteworthy is the always friendly and courteous staff. The bakery is also open on Sundays. The prices are at Swiss levels.
