PANORAMA TERRACE in Meyrin

Terrace was closed even though it should have been open according to their website and the screens in the airport.

Beautiful terrace with security check at the entrance, so far normal but the agents are of unparalleled vulgarity. A security guard insulting the people he controls is simply unacceptable. And this isn't the first time this has happened here.

Magnificent place easy to access

Wonderful place, excellent for taking phots. However opening hours could be extended a bit.

We arrived at 4 p.m. but already closed! The hours are not from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. but from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The place is magnificent, but just like the restaurant the chef the hours are really poorly proposed which is sad...

A magnificent place, I obviously remember that of the 90s, I often came when I was a child, only beautiful memories, I would however like to ask, would it be possible for the panorama terrace to be open until 8 p.m. during the months of July and August (6 days a week of course) to allow spotters like me or families with children to benefit more from the terrace during the period when the days are long, thank you in advance and at Soon ;-)

It is very nice and beautiful there but only 4 stars beceause they haven't open in the busiest and best saison (Winter)

Magnificent panorama of the Jura, very beautiful view of the tarmac, a very nice moment spent on this beautiful, well-appointed terrace. For people who don't know the airport very well, it deserves to be easier to access, especially 1-2 additional signs to indicate the way.

Magnificent view of the planes, however the site said that the restaurant was open even though it was closed

Visted during the last weekend in June, one of the most picturesque terraces I have been on, if you want too watch the aircraft activities or grab that last view of the jura mountains, in quiet moments watch the bees on the large flower bed (I was fascinated). The sun for most of the day is behind you so no problems for photos, there is no glass screen to affect your view, even the smallest child can look through albeit a chain link grill, so no need for parents to get sore arms lifting them up and down. Entrance is free (at the time of writing) and involves airport type screening, once past and onto the terrace there is a reasonably priced snack bar and free toilets a sheltered roof for protection. I did not look in but I think there is an activity room on the terrace as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time up there and I will go back.

Got to be there before 6, don’t go during rain. It will close while it rain. LMAO

Magnificent experience, go there around 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or 3 p.m.-4 p.m. there are big jets!

If you are traveling or not you can have a break to go over top and spend time looking at the airport, departure/arrival plans

What's the point of having a terrace if most of the time it's closed! You can't even see the families leaving or arriving! It's disgusting!

Very pretty terrace with an exceptional view of the Jura mountain range and the tarmac. A snack allows you to have a drink or eat an ice cream in summer. Ideal for a short excursion with children or for aviation enthusiasts.

The place is great and very well designed, beautiful view of the Jura and the tarmac.

A very beautiful terrace with a splendid view of the planes and the airport runway and a view of the Jura. A refreshment bar with food and drinks is also available. Be careful to check the opening hours because the terrace is only partially open, which is a shame, especially on Saturdays and Sundays in winter.
