Very nice place on the pretty Gerra beach. Unfortunately poorly motivated staff. Don't ask for any products with milk, they don't have any: that's a question for a café/bar! All served in paper cups or, at best, in a plastic glass if you order a Spritz. For similar prices, prefer the Magadino beach bar (Pirats of Gambarogno), the staff is much friendlier and you are served in real glasses and cups, at the table :)

Such a shame!! How lovingly this bar was run a few years ago and how indifferent and unmotivated it seems now. There is neither a proper selection of ice cream nor do I like the music. The free deck chairs can't be used any more.

Since there was nothing else in the area, we stopped there twice. Team not really motivated. Fries good if not exactly sold out. Salad without sauce. Must be requested separately each time and no bread with it. It's a shame for such a great location.

It's a shame, over the years people have forgotten that in Gerra it is mainly families with children who go on beach holidays. There is hardly any ice cream left that makes children's hearts beat faster. I don't understand the administration of Gerra, which issues the leases. And today another disappointment - asked in the morning until what time in the evening it would be open for food: the answer was 10 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. on site and everything was closed 😤😤😤

A real shame! It was always such an idyllic place for families with a small family-run snack bar. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since the change of ownership a few years ago. Constant music and a terribly loud DJ on weekends, the prices are overpriced and the playground has been dismantled. The owners seem to want to attract party people rather than families... everyone on the beach is annoyed. We hope there will be an improvement soon...

Don't even have decent ice cream... :(

Goodbye paradise... Unfortunately no more charm!!!! Renovated to death and no more room for families!!! Disco music in the afternoon with decibel levels 🥵 Prices 🫣 not family friendly!! We have been guests at Lido Gerra for years, today for the last time. We are looking for a new place...

Price performance is not right. The chicken, for example, was molded meat. The staff was friendly, hence the second star!

Mediocre. Loud music that takes getting used to. Culinarily not great.

I really like the lido, the water is clean, but as always quite deep...it is calm, ideal for spending the day with the family. It has the train station and the bus stop about 150 meters away.

Basically beautifully located, but long waiting times and limited snack offerings. Coffee ice cream is almost never available, despite the offer. The majority of the ice cream flavors offered are not available.

Food very good, taking orders takes forever. If you speed up the ordering process, you could make a lot more sales. In addition, the opening times are not clear... I would be happy if I could still get an ice cream at 8.30 p.m....

DELETERIOUS. Jazz concert evening, we arrived at 8pm, beautiful evening, kitchen closed. Impossible to eat anything. Then they cry that tourists (and Ticinese) are missing

Great bar/restaurant. Versatile offer, simple and inexpensive. Nice employees. Beautiful view.

Very good place to share and have a great time outdoors, I loved it there is a place to park one meter away, the lake and the music what more could I ask for 😉
