There is a tarte flambée with vegan sour cream. So cool for anyone who has a problem with cow's milk, and super tasty too.

Great chill out spot right by the river. Cosy seating for you to sit back and relax with a coffee or beer whilst you listen to the river. I just had a coffee but the food looked good too.

Very nice atmosphere to spend a cozy evening. Price performance is great and the service is always friendly.

The pop-up bar is highly recommended. Easy to find, great view with nice design. Simple but good. The bar crew was super nice and made good Campari Spritz. Paying by card is no problem. The prices are normal, not excessive. Definitely a great location for an aperitif with colleagues.

Really big cinema, great atmosphere right on the river. Super nice staff, colorful collection of furniture. A temporary solution can be so nice. We were there twice in three days!

Nice mood, but there were 2 dead bees in my smoothie drink. Didn't fly in, but had been there for a long time... She almost swallowed it. Who knows how long the booze was left out in the open somewhere. I wouldn't order open drinks here.

I discovered Park am Wasser last year through BernerMeitschi and fell in love with the place straight away. So I couldn't wait for this year's season to start again. The outdoor area is lovingly designed, directly on the Aare and quickly accessible on foot. The food is a small but very fine selection. In particular the banana bread and the Gugelhupf (which also sell out quickly from time to time). The cocktails are creative and not like the ones you find anywhere else. In the evening you can watch bats flying over the Aare or enjoy the evening program in the park. I'm looking forward to going again very soon.

Charming tavern. The prices are slightly inflated but I encourage this type of pop-up restaurant which enlivens local social life.

The park used to be a small oasis for barbecuing or just being together. Often people from the nearby youth hostel. Multicultural. With the bar, the open space is commercialized and artificially made narrower. Became unattractive because it is overused.

It's a shame that a pop-up is taking over most of this park. I used to go there often with the children to play, do yoga, there were always slackliners - now there's no room for that anymore. Dalmazi Park would actually be a nice, quiet place with a public gas grill (the pop-up is where the grill is!!!!!) I'm eagerly waiting for this pop-up to close. It's better to go to Trybholz near Altenbergsteg if you want to drink something on the Aare

Excellent location with friendly staff and good food. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. We ordered the daily grill item and some Momos. Both tasted delicious. Excellent food at reasonable prices in an excellent atmosphere.

Expensive, long waiting and queuing and takes up a lot of space, without the containers there would be a lot more space for people and relaxation. There are more than enough drinking places like this in Bern, but you have to look for parks directly on the Aare.

The park is often completely overcrowded, so that the Böötlers have to dry their boats on the sidewalk, the lawn is already half-dead or covered with wooden slats and the relaxed, open, culturally diverse atmosphere of the last few years has been blown away. The public grill is also less accessible.

Until now, Dalmazi Park has been a place for me where I could do yoga and acro yoga during the week on a beautiful lawn near the Aare. It was quiet, colorful and peaceful. Now there is a huge consumer complex there and there is usually no space on the lawn for all the colorful leisure activities such as juggling, acro, guitar, dancing, reading, etc. that used to liven up the park. I find it extremely sad that the city approves something like this and thus occupies the already rare open space in the city with something that already exists thousands of times (a restaurant business...)

As soon as I entered Dalmazi Park, where the "Park by the Water" is located, I was annoyed for the first time: all the bicycles were blocking the sidewalk and I couldn't find a place to park them. The next “surprise” in the park: The pop-up blocks large parts of the small park. There is only little space between the consuming guests to sit comfortably together on the lawn (side note: the prices are completely overpriced). Of course, the many visitors leave their mark: cigarette butts, rubbish and even broken glass can be found on the meadow. Unfortunately, walking around barefoot is no longer possible here since the pop-up. The Dalmazipärkli with a view of the Federal Palace was actually one of my favorite places in Bern in the summer, but the pop-up ruined the cozy park.

Too many people... too much noise... too much alcohol in broad daylight (and not just alcohol)... in short... to avoid Sunday afternoons especially if you have children!

We saw on the website that tarte flambée was offered in a vegan version. We were there and ordered it and asked again when ordering whether it was really vegan. “Yes, of course,” it said. When I picked it up I asked again whether it was vegan. One of the employees said no in a friendly manner, but the cook said, “No, definitely not.” According to my statement, how I assumed it. One of the employees was friendly, but the cook was still very unfriendly, no, that's not possible, etc. I don't think it's a bad thing, mistakes can happen, but you should accept them if possible and look for solutions. Now today after two weeks. There was still no vegan version offered in the range. It's a shame, because the demand among people with environmental awareness is very high. Thanks.

Great and fun and casual outdoor restaurant right next to river. Friendly staff, locally created drinks, and a small but tasty menu. We tried the Momo, an excellent Tibetan dumpling dish. We loved the relaxed casual atmosphere and friendly staff.

Lovingly designed place in a great location and summery Aare atmosphere! Relaxing in a beautiful vintage deck chair looking out over the Aaare, with delicious food and a cool drink in your hand - what more could you want? Bravo!

Displaces the previous park culture and only promotes the drinking culture. The culinary offering is overpriced and not very innovative. It's better to go a little further up the river to the Aarebar.
