Pastizaria Cantieni in Scuol

I could speak Romansh and it was snowing freshly. Great service. Just next to the post office. It was my first time here and I'll be back...

Beautiful location for delicious stuffed sandwiches, cappuccinos, coffee and wonderful pastry desserts... the view from the pastry shop is breathtaking, you look at the historic center of Scuol from above... wow, I'll gladly come back and thank you 😘

Magnificent view of the Scuol church and the mountains. The food is okay, nothing more. The sandwiches are more filled with butter than ham.

Small breakfast for just under 11 francs is just okay. 1 roll, 1 croissant, 2 butter but only 1 jam. Ambience cool and uncomfortable.

Good products but bad service. We had to go in to order because no one came to look and were immediately allowed to carry our things out ourselves because the four ladies present were all busy with themselves instead of with the customers.

A pastry bar in Scoul in Switzerland. In addition to ice creams, you can try desserts and cream cakes. Both are good, even if the prices are always more expensive than the Italian ones. There is also a nice room with a nice view.

A butter braid, a pear bread and of course an Enganine nut cake went into the backpack. Two sandwiches, generously filled and filling. And the greeting: Allegra. Just beautiful. A good place to shop and/or sit outside with coffee and cake.

During a trip to the Lower Engadine, we stopped at the Pastizaria Cantieni for coffee and cake. Everything was delicious and the service was really friendly. The rooms are also attractive.

Friendly staff, beautiful view, but I don't understand how in 2023 you can't offer a single milk alternative.

Good desserts + coffee, we had the warm nut cake with vanilla ice cream and were surprised that you can also eat the nut cake warm (keep that in mind for home). The service was very friendly.

It's not just the famous Tuorta da Nüsch/Engadiner Nustorte (whether it's really the best in the world can be debated with relish, this one is less buttery and lighter, but also more crumbly) - the breads, rolls, sandwiches and pastries are of the highest quality. Simply outstanding. The view (to the rear, in the valley, and out towards the city) is also unique. Friendly conditions, very good prices for Switzerland: worth a 200 km detour for us!

The sandwiches are good. The location too. BUT! The six of us were in Scuol for several days and in this bakery several times. Every time something happened. And that's why we all came to the same opinion: the service was incompetent and very unfriendly. Sometimes really cheeky. What we really couldn't accept was that a colleague of ours had specifically ordered a cheesecake. The waitress probably said a Romansh name for it. Then a cheese and bacon cake arrived. Because he doesn't eat bacon, he wanted to give the cake back. But the waitress didn't care and just said that it wasn't possible. He had paid in advance, so it was difficult for him to defend himself. We all then tried to explain to her that unfortunately we don't understand Romansh, but unfortunately it didn't help. The butter peaks also tasted like they were from yesterday. We have also seen other customers say the same thing. We will never visit this bakery again.

At Cantieni you can have a very good breakfast for a moderate price. The quality of the food is very good. The view towards the mountains through the large glass windows is also fantastic. Tip: Try the Engainder nut cake!!! Many locals consider it to be the best of its kind!

Quiet, noble. It's good to be here. Excellent patisserie and baked goods. Not cheap, but good value for money!

Selection of different special coffees, great pastry, big ice cream scoops. Look out for home made ice tea during summer time, and berry tea during wintertime - my favorites! Cozy coffee shop for all ages.

Certainly one of the best walnut tarts in Graubünden. But also the pastries and sandwiches are really excellent. An essential step if we are in the area :-)
