Pension Schönblick in Saas-Grund

Don't look like anything. Old. Very simple. Calm. Very clean. Very nice boss. Breakfast superior to many hotels. Perfect for a cheap overnight stay before going up to ski in Saas Fee.

We were warmly welcomed by the Venetz family. The rooms are clean and well maintained. If you want, you can enjoy dinner there, simply but prepared with passion. The breakfast is good. A pool table and a foosball table can be used. The location is good, easy parking in front of the door and close to the slopes of Saas Grund and a quick bus ride into Saas Fee.

Nice guesthouse. Very clean and good breakfast. Rooms are simply furnished but perfectly adequate. Very friendly host. Price-performance ratio is great.

Great guesthouse. Simple and clean rooms with an amazing view of the Michabelkette. The owners are super nice. The breakfast is more than sufficient and the dinner (only after prior registration) is very tasty and, above all, freshly prepared with vegetables from our own garden. Overall, the guesthouse can only be recommended!

Super friendly, very warm welcome, very well eaten

Arrived here at nine in the evening after an epic mountain climb. When we asked if we could get something to eat, we said the kitchen was already closed. Maybe there would be a salad. After our story we immediately said: “I can still make you Rösti with egg and bacon!” There was also beer and it was delicious too. Three days later I ate cheese fondue here again. Also very good. So absolutely recommended!

Simple accommodation with large rooms. The prices are OK. The innkeeper helps with many things and does what she can.

We were camping opposite so this review is only with regards to their food and drink but overall I felt the place was poor. We had dinner there several times and the food was passable but not great. Switzerland is an expensive country so don't want to hold that against this establishment but I wouldn't go back. Was pretty offended on my last night when I was charged an extorionate amount for a litre of beer that was clearly off - no refund was offered.

Not very hospitable accommodation for several days, ok for one night

Stayed for two with B&B treatment. Very basic room, with two single beds and a bunk bed, two small wardrobes, shower and mini sink in the room (no privacy for the shower!). The toilets are in the corridor. Breakfast is good overall, despite the expired yogurt at the table. The local restaurant is very welcoming. Total cost including online booking 85 francs.
