February 14th reserved for 8pm After the second time I call a waiter to command someone finally arrives and it's 8.30pm A blond and arrogant boy greets me, I tell him we've been there for half an hour and he doesn't even apologise. I command two glasses of wine, two filets and a bottle of water. Glasses of wine arrive immediately, bottle of water forgotten. 9.17pm the dishes arrive and I ask again for the mineral water which they brought immediately. The scandalous dishes, in each dish a fillet of meat and that's it, I call the waiter asking if they should still bring the side dish, he replies that those are not included and you should have asked first. So I ask for some french fries, incredibly they bring them straight away hahaha. The food itself is good, but the staff needs to be reviewed, both in organization and in welcoming customers. We stayed at Peppers these days and I must say that the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. The place is large and well-kept with plenty of seating. We started with aperitifs and then moved on to the main course with different types of meat and I had a burger which I really appreciated. Fair portions of meat and good quality. The price is in line with what we ate. A plus point is the private parking of the venue. Advised!!!

We had a Swiss burger and rigatoni carbonara. Both dishes were very tasty and generous. However, we found 22 CHF for a portion of carbonara to be too expensive. The drink prices are also very high. The waitress was nice and the service was good.

The food was really good and unusual, because there aren't other restaurants that offer the same preparation of the meat. However you will spent quite a bit, you must order at least 1 kg steaks to taste their top selection, but they aren't expensive compared to other steak restaurants.

I have found my new favorite place to enjoy high quality meat. In addition to the variety of delicious cuts, I really appreciated the creativity of the cocktails which added a touch of refinement to the evening. Two of us had dinner a few months ago in this restaurant, a decent experience; my t-bone was medium rare even though I had asked for it rare... but understanding that those who work make mistakes, I ate it anyway and was able to appreciate it, even if given the price I would have expected something more. However, this forces me to give 2 stars out of 5, leaving aside the prices which, despite including the indigenous labor and the quality of the material, are a bit high in my opinion. There are restaurants in Lugano where you can eat meat of equal quality at lower prices (the question of the origin of the staff is commendable but I eat the meat, not the staff; it is your policy, right as it is, but it causes criticism about the price.) The worst thing however, is the way the staff treat customers, obviously not all the staff but some waiters behave disdainfully. You give the impression that you are doing us a favor by serving us and I don't find it a good feeling as a diner. The worst came at the time of the bill, when the blond waiter at the checkout laughingly pointed out the high prices; we heard a curt reply: "the prices were on the paper and you read them". I don't think there's much need to add, it's not an answer to give to a customer, who among other things didn't respond in kind just because he was accompanied by his wife.

4th time I've eaten here. 3rd time I've eaten cockerel in the basket. Save yourself the kilometers to go to Attinghausen because here they serve the rooster in the basket whole and don't be stingy with the sauce which among other things is sublime and, in my opinion, better. I paired the cockerel with a red wine (Onda del Tempo, 2019, Puglia), which was also very good; so good that I ordered a second glass of it. And to finish a fabulous pistachio tiramisu. And with Tiramisu I am very fussy (both with the classic ones and with the revisitations). The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, the waiters and the staff in general make you feel at home. We had dinner this evening with a seafood piñata, wooww the presentation of a terracotta piñata with a covering of golden pizza dough inside I can't even describe it was so beautiful and good. We will definitely return for the meat which from the display case in the room made us want to try it Congratulations for making us have a good evening.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. The place is right on the cantonal road inside the Liberty hotel. Despite the meat-based specialties, we opted for a delicious pizza. Personally I really liked the tall and soft dough. The staff was friendly and nice, we felt at ease. Advised.

We went to Peppers for our anniversary, a very busy Saturday night. The waiting time was normal given that there were many people, we ordered 1 prosecco, 1 Spritz, 2 cuts of beef and a portion of mozzarella stick. The inedible meat had a taste and smell that suggested it wasn't fresh at all, both my husband and I didn't even consume half of our plates. The bill of 104.- seemed absurd to us. The staff is very kind and friendly but still fails to fill the gap in the kitchen. Since we stayed at the Hotel Liberty and didn't want to drive into Bellinzona, this restaurant was the perfect choice. Of course we didn't expect first-class cuisine. The food wasn't bad either, we had pizza and a Fritto Mix. The pizza tasted good, just the middle was a bit soggy. The Fritto Mix also tasted ok, unfortunately only lukewarm. We just didn't find the service really empathetic and we were the only table that wasn't offered water or a greeting from the kitchen. So for a quick, unpretentious meal that's right next to the hotel, it's ok.

Good main dishes. Some of the desserts offered are unfortunately inedible as they are too sweet and unfortunately the coffee also remains poor (it is golden bean coffee served discreetly made). The first time I waited almost an hour to get a non-alcoholic Hugo even though I asked several times if it was coming and proposed changing the request with something else. Three different variations proposed at the same table for water in a jug. First version: No jug of water but offered bottle. Very arrogant. Ordered a great t bone which was overdone on one end, undercooked on the other. Ordered it with fries and received baby potatoes. Expensive red wine with a mouthful of wine-stones. For a 85 euro dinner I was very unhappy. Ordered a pizza so I would not leave hungry. The waiter was not interested in my comments.

So I went in without any expectations and got a Negroni. The service was perfect! After a few minutes a plate with small snacks arrived because I hadn't ordered anything to eat. Good morning, related to Tartar since I also ate this product, we honestly threw away 80% of the product. I'm sorry because I know the local staff and I admire the restaurants you open in Ticino and how you manage them and I observe that for any review that isn't good, there really isn't a compression of the review, but underline your idea. I'm honest that nothing would have changed by taking it away or sitting in the restaurant except that perhaps I could have "tried it" first (a service offered in other restaurants where the take-away Tartar is made) which is seasoned absolutely but in a pleasant on the palate and not having the flavor of a peperonata seasoning where the taste of the meat is not even noticeable. If you don't do Tartar takeaway service simply don't do it, as if you do do it, it would be nice to let you try the Tartar, (my mistake for not asking) as I would have told you it was terrible... Having said that, I am sure that you will have a variety of products and dishes that are much better and more pleasant, but this is not the case. But it is correct in catering to take criticism and understand it.

Takeaway tartar cannot be defined as tartar as the flavor of the meat was totally covered by the sauces/condiments. Extremely spicy flavor (usually not very spicy). Butter pack stuck in the meat. Low quantity.

I have been to Peppers several times for dinner or lunch, there is a family atmosphere and the food is excellent. We tried different dishes from the many offers on their menu and each time we discovered new flavours. Highly recommended. Furthermore it is pet friendly. Our four-legged friend is also welcome.

I had dinner in this restaurant a few weeks ago, a recently renovated place which makes it a truly welcoming place! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent quality food and cooked very well! We will be back for sure!
