So I ordered the penne carbonara... It's shameful. I haven't had such bad pasta since the canteen. I have the impression that they use prepared sachets for the sauce because it tastes so much like flour. Very disappointed, I would stick to the pizzas now.

Average service because they are often overwhelmed and don't have good manners. They complain, they don't smile, they show manners... If the service is obstructed, the food is plentiful. Remember to ask for a doggy bag and generally, it’s very good! Oh and giant pizza!

The food was pretty good. For the rest: we had a reservation for 9:00 p.m. and we were made to wait 10 minutes standing. Afterwards, my girlfriend ordered a cold tea which arrived after a good ten minutes. I received my dish 15 minutes before my girlfriend's, which meant we had to share my dish until hers arrived. Finally, one of the waiters: Irfan or Stefan, I don't know his name precisely, was distinguished by his odious character. When working in a restaurant, it is appropriate to greet customers, use polite expressions such as: "thank you, you're welcome" and not jostle people or look at them badly. I would also like to add that the music inside was way too loud to hear. If I am writing this long review it is because fundamentally the food was good and there is room for improvement if certain modifications are implemented.

1 Star... because you have to give at least one but it deserved less than 50,000 stars. The lamest pizza in history. Burnt... burnt... burnt... No one could eat such a thing. Do you recruit these pizza makers on WISH?

In general, food is good. We like the location and that it's family-friendly. However, the quality of the wait staff could really improve. There's high turnover so the service experience is really hit or miss (sometimes friendly waiters, other times clueless or rude even). Overall, I would still recommend La Petite Vendée for casual dining and good food.

When we came in the evening to have dinner, we were seated on a table that had not even been cleared even though the restaurant was half empty. In addition, we were made to wait a good 25 minutes before coming to give us a table and take our order when I signaled my annoyance to the waiter. I point out that the unused glasses of previous customers were not even changed and that I had to manage to find a card on the table of other customers. Regarding the cuisine, we did not fail to burn our palates with ultra-hot gnocchi served after a wait of 30 minutes as well. What can we say about the basis of any meal, the bread, which we did not see during the entire meal….. Being accustomed to quality service in this place I was extremely disappointed this time. Especially since when paying the bill the waiter asked me if everything went well and I didn't notice any reaction when I replied "meh". In short, restaurant to avoid on Sunday evening….

The best way to describe my experience would be by sharing the scene from zalone in Norway... "non si nomina l'Italia invano". A true disaster. Slow service and with plenty of flaws (e.g. still waiting for the wine which has never arrived).. The scialatelli alle vongole were not scialatelli, but linguine (and nobody told us)... on top, they were really badly cooked and not well creamed (in Italian it would be described as "pasta lavata"). Somebody ordered a Risotto ai Porcini which managed to be worse than the Linguine. Basically tasteless. In a nutshell, something must have happened to this place that used to be average but definitely better than today.

This restaurant is getting worse and worse...we order scialatielli aller vongole and we receive overcooked spaghetti with no taste. Not to mention the service... the order is taken for half the table then the waiter comes back to take over and forgets one person... the pâtés were served 25 minutes after the pizzas...

Very long service (1h30 wait to be served), servers not very pleasant and food not incredible. Only the entrance was good. I don't understand the positive reviews left because there were several of us and no one liked it.

We discovered this restaurant for the first time, it is a real Italian family restaurant, excellent dishes. Very generous, price more than fair, the servers friendly, smiling and generous, a little noisy but I highly recommend it.

The worst restaurant in Geneva.

Reservation made at 12:00 p.m. by telephone for the evening 8:00 p.m. Arrived at 8:00 p.m. no place, restaurant crowded. “Two minutes” words that were repeated to us for 30 minutes as we waited standing in the lobby. We ended up losing our patience, we got angry. In short, it's really bad, they don't care about the customer at all. Absolutely avoid!!! We finished pizzeria just above, lovely and competent staff, ate very well, thank you thank you!

I have been going to this restaurant more than 5 times a year for over 10 years. I have always been very satisfied with the service and the pizzas. However, for almost a year and a half I have noticed a big decline in the quality of the pizzas and the service. They are smaller, there are fewer ingredients etc. It's a shame because this restaurant is very famous in Geneva. Unfortunately, the quality is no longer there as it used to be and it's not insignificant if I don't go as often as I used to.

One of my favorite restaurants. I always take the carbo spaghetti with truffle oil, it’s delicious! A real treat. The terrace is nice, really cool and quiet atmosphere, but there are a lot of people on the weekend! Everything is perfect ! I recommend !

We went to the La Petite Vendée restaurant last night for a dinner for 7 people. Result: 3 patients vomited all night, 1 who didn't even touch his dish out of disgust and 2 others with stomach pains all night. The person who had not touched their dish asked the waiter to taste theirs and he told us that they had had a supply problem with the cream and that the one they were using was turning during cooking or after a few minutes on the plate. We asked why they served dishes in cream which they knew were inedible and we were left with no response other than the offer to make us another dish which we refused. Finally they offered us the limoncello which arrived....hot We were also placed outside even though we had not requested this when we made our reservation. On a stormy day, we would have preferred to be at least under the cover of the terrace. It didn't fail, in the middle of the cafes, the storm arrived and we had to leave urgently. Very disappointed with the experience in this restaurant which I appreciated very much before that. I won't be caught again.

Allow time... waiting more than 35 minutes before our desserts arrived, had to ask several times for carafes of water, difficult to get the attention of the servers. The gelatinous lemon tart, the tiramisu lacks mascarpone, but the chocolate fondant is good! During our last visit, those who ordered pizzas were served 45 minutes after the other dishes... we will not return.

Our last two visits were disappointing compared to all of the last few years. The quality and quantity of ingredients on the pizzas had nothing to do with it. Too bad, because the service remains top notch. Hopefully this is a fluke of bad circumstances.

There is only one positive thing, it's the food which is delicious! Otherwise, endless waiting, unpleasant servers. They were not overwhelmed, and one of them was sprawled on the back of a chair and when we asked him about it, he replied: yes, it's coming but he didn't move! I have never seen such behavior and I have never waited so long in a restaurant. Arrived by reservation at 8 p.m., served at 9:30 p.m. And we were finally able to leave at 11:30 p.m. Luckily it was good at least!

Poor service, no organization, totally lost and unpleasant servers. The lasagna is bathed in tomato sauce, we are brought a pot of spicy oil (without a spoon) and a side salad almost at the end of the meal. In short, a disaster from start to finish. We won't go back there again.

A nice place to eat Italian in Geneva. Excellent service, very friendly. Multiple choices on the menu, all excellent, tasty and fragrant. Very generous with the possibility of a doggybag.

Given that I've been to the other restaurant from the same brothers I had really big expectations of this place. I can't say I was particularly disappointed but I certainly seem to have been unlucky. The dishes that my friends ordered all came out looking and tasting great with very generous portions no sane person would complain about. I had ordered a beef tagliata just like one of my friends except I requested rare and she asked for medium. When they arrived, hers was slightly pink in the middle as it should be and mine was in the stratosphere beyond well done. It was just charred, black and chewy. I had to ask for a replacement and I eventually got another which was "only" well done and no pink in the middle. At this point I just gave up and ate it as it was certainly edible albeit not cooked correctly and we had to leave shortly after. Like I said at the start, I think I simply got unlucky to have had a negative experience but it's also clear that when the dinner rush starts, they are woefully overwhelmed with customers and mistakes are bound to happen with limited staff and a deluge of demanding customers. In conclusion, don't avoid this place but aim for a less busy period if you want to maximize your chances.

Great atmosphere, friendly waiters and what can we say about the pizzas... They are very good and also very large. Difficult to finish, fortunately you can take your leftovers with you.

Huge pizza size, perfect for good eaters

Very disappointing experience, not too many people but a lot of waiting, a pizza forgotten when ordering but not forgotten when billing, no apology, not even a gesture for the person who did not eat. Reservation through the fork but the restaurant owner refuses to make the reduction. In the end, we're not going to come back. I strongly advise against the little Vendée.

Great disappointment on our arrival, the terrace closed. The information could have been given when booking. We found ourselves inside where it was really hot. The dishes were well served and good. One of the waiters was unfriendly when it was indicated that there were extra coffees at the time of the bill. During checkout, the waiter who was cashing was not very pleasant either when we answered his question "why are we leaving already" by telling him that we would have appreciated a little limoncello given their error on the 'addition. He told us that there was nothing he could do, it was a small employee... All these little things together didn't make us want to come back.

Huge pizza, tasty, thin, crispy and digestible dough!!! Haven't tested the rest yet, I'll have to come back :-) I recommend!

When we say that their pizzas are huge, it's really no joke

The bearded man at the checkout is very unpleasant! 5.50 francs were added to the bill and not only does he refuse to redo the accounts and he also speaks badly to me! Despite this, the other servers and the kitchen are great 👍🏼

Good points : - The meat, 2 steaks of beef with delicious truffle sauces and boletus sauce, was extra tender and tasty. - The bread was also good. - Attentive and friendly staff Less positive points: - The menu was unable to offer several wines because: "out of stock from suppliers" - Nothing to nibble with the aperitif - Closed terrace (for security reasons we were told) - Fries and vegetables as a side dish in very small quantities - Noisy room (atmosphere) - Industrial whipped cream (bomb) on the Denmark cup - More chocolate cake that evening

Very poorly served plate of prawns there are only 6 small prawns with 10 fries!! Ashamed!! We arrive at the end of the meal and they make us pay 120.- for a side of beef that we didn't ask for!! The food is amazing, the serving portions are really good. My only comment would be regarding the noise in the place, theres is not much to do about people talking but on top pf that they put music, which makes it a little too much.

Italian restaurant, original place with a warm atmosphere. We were a group and we were seated upstairs in a private room, really ideal so as not to disturb other customers. The pizzas are delicious and very very large! Small downside on the dessert... I had the Nutella gnocchi but the plate is much too generous and inevitably there is a lot of waste. Otherwise correct service. I recommend for families, lovers or large groups.

Magnificent 45 cm pizza, excellent, service a little long because the restaurant is full, reserve your table if you want to be sure you can eat.

We ate very well, the dishes were plentiful and there was a wide choice. The service was impeccable, the server was very friendly and welcoming. The interior is good, the terrace is very welcoming and it must be pleasant to eat outside in summer.

Me and my girlfriends went to this restaurant. And the waiter (with glasses) made very inappropriate comments about our chests. All evening he didn't stop making disgusting innuendoes to us! (my friends and I are MINORS) Personally I was very uncomfortable. However there was a new server who was very friendly and helpful!
