I often come for breakfast with a friend. The cappuccino is ok, the brioches on the other hand are very good and generously filled. There are so many tempting products to try. Always friendly service, very nice atmosphere. A must in Bellinzona.

Terrible service, we waited 30 minutes and no one came to ask or serve us and yet the girls in the cafeteria knew very well that many people were waiting to order something to drink or eat but they preferred to stay and talk to each other, what a lack of professionalism. I found the vegan brioches 😍 they offer them with cream or jam! I tried it with cream and it was delicious 😋 I will also go and try the other vegan desserts they offer. A beautiful discovery.

I would work on the reception. Entering a place and not even being taken into consideration after saying hello is not pleasant. Hygiene of the shop window questionable. If you point out that the goods on display are covered in midges, "it could happen" is not an answer to give to a customer. This shouldn't happen! It would be a nice place too. With a notable terrace and availability of seats. But poorly managed.

Ordered an cafe and an hot dish, the coffee was served quick and delicious. While I got confused with the translation so I was hoping to find an alternative, unfortunately, there was an rude and almost scary waitress called Julia, started to talked and acted with grumpy attitude and shouted : you American don’t know anything ! I felt like being threatened and left immediately. Not friendly to foreigners.

Compared to other times when I had a good experience, today I was not given the opportunity to sit where I wanted, I was served impatiently and having spent time studying I was urged to place a second order, which I would certainly have done if the waitress had approached me kindly. An experience that doesn't lead me to return, too bad!

We were here today to see the typical market and so we stopped in this place attracted by the thousand Italian sweets and delicacies I can say that I have never drank such good coffee!! Congratulations also for the speed! Given the turnout!!!! super recommended!

Poor service! I would say the wait was embarrassing and horrible to hear the waitresses arguing with each other using vulgar words... (6 tables were complaining!)

That was the worst service, food and gastronomy that we experienced in Ticino. Actually, it was wrong to take a seat despite the poor service. Lasagna was brought cold after 45 minutes and brought back to the kitchen with a scolding undertone from the serving daughter. 4 minutes later the first came back and 7 minutes later the second. Straight from the microwave. No recommendation...

I came with my granddaughter for a snack, I was sitting in front of the door and the waitresses ignored me completely. I waited 15 minutes, they looked at me and walked straight past. I went to the bar next door and within two minutes I had already ordered. Even a lady who was next to me did the same... Too bad for you, we'll never come back!

Bread and sandwich were great, but unfortunately the service was very slow and disorganized.

The waitress Julia who served us was NOT friendly at all! There were 5 of us choosing pastries; time to command them he snorted and couldn't wait for us to finish commanding (it didn't take us who knows how long). We no longer dared ask what flavor the pastries were; There is no description in front, so you have to ask. To bring the drinks to the table, he practically slammed them on the table. Waiters like this are definitely NOT supposed to work with customers! And then the taste of the pastries was not good and they were not fresh at all. Next time I'm in Bellinzona I will definitely NOT stop at this pastry shop.

Extremely rude staff. They barely talk to you, they are grumpy and they are not interested in taking your order. Besides that there’s is also absolutely no reason to go for the food. We ordered a chicken salad, which was 20 franc, and what we got didn’t even look like a salad. There were a few pieces of lettuce and cold fried chicken on the plate. They didn’t even took the trouble to use oil or some thing else to give the salad taste. If this would happen in my own country i wouldn’t accept it and would return the salad, but because of the language barrière, the extremely unpleasant waitress and the fact that we were really hungry we let it slide. Don’t make the same mistake as we did; find something else in Bellinzona!!

Staff was rude and the food was not great. Overpriced, and a tourist trap. Go somewhere else for food.

I asked for a cup of cream and they served me packaged spray cream. When I asked if they had artisanal cream they replied: we already do everything by hand, we even need the cream!

Half an hour sitting waiting to order both inside and outside. 4 waitresses talking to each other and snorting at every customer. Among other things, they are longshoremen and very rude. Too bad if not for the waitresses it has a nice location. For the rest, it's better to go to the competition (bar immediately next door). I recommend leaving the money on the table and going away just to get a forced smile, it's not worth waiting to pay the bill.

Bad service as always, even today there were 3 waitresses in the square and a few seated customers, they took care... very calmly... to clear three tables, chat, erase the menu from the blackboard and after 10 minutes, without even being noticed I decided to leave! It's not the first time I've left without consuming and unfortunately I noticed that I'm not the only customer to do this. It's a shame, it's really a beautiful square where you can enjoy the beautiful days.

Nice place to have a drink, but not for eating. Waited 1h to get the food. We would still be waiting if we didn't ask for it. Same story for the dessert, which was included in the menu we took. The waitress was unfriendly and was trying to avoid any eye contact with us. We didn't see any smile either. Note: I was speaking Italian.

An experience to forget, let's start with the fact that this place doesn't have a written menu, but the girl who waits at the tables tells you everything orally! To our "bad luck" the girl was a foreigner and understood little Italian so she couldn't describe the dishes on the menu well. However we managed to order, I had a chicken salad, my wife and my daughter had a piadina with ham and cheese 🧀, where the cheese then turned out to be mayonnaise 😂, but anyway, come on! They serve me this chicken salad and I am surprised to note that the chicken is in broth! Yes, the chicken strips were in broth, not pan-fried as the girl had described 😬! As a result, the chicken quickly cooled and became inedible! It's a shame because the location is nice right on Piazza Collegiata. Oh I almost forgot, not to be rude, we also got some hazelnut cakes that were a little hard, we struggled a bit to cut them 😂

The service staff obviously has a serious motivation problem. It's just a shame about this restaurant in a fantastic location.

Scammers and rude... I was with my mom a week ago. We paid for an ice cream at the counter and with that we went to sit down to also order a cappuccino. When it was time to pay we were given both ice cream and coffee. We said we had already paid for the ice cream and given a 20 note. They made us pay for both and despite repeating several times that we had already paid for the coffee and asking to check with the previous waitress, the cashier refused to give us the rest and just shrugged and told us to go away.... We came back today because the coffee is good and it's right to give it a second chance. We waited 30 minutes for the coffee, the waitress was rude and grumpy. She put her tray with three different orders on our table, gave us the coffees without saying please and leaving the tray there and went to distribute the various drinks to the other tables (always leaving a part for ours).. I do not recommend this place and I will not give it a third chance

If you want to drink truly excellent coffee this is the right place. The pastry desserts are also delicious. Excellent location in the square.

Lovely bakery, coffee shop on two floors with a big seating area on the Piazza opposite the gorgeous church in Bellinzona center. Bread and pastries, espresso or capucchino, prosecco or gelato enjoy your day.

I went to this restaurant with my husband and daughter. The location would actually be perfect and we thought there would be a lot of people. It has to be good. But we were bitterly disappointed. The waiter made several idle runs past us without clearing the tables properly. And we were only served after two more tables were added. We asked for the ice cream menu because it also said Gelateria. The waiter denied this, saying it hadn't happened for a long time. The iced tea I ordered bubbled slightly and burned my tongue. Which suggests that he is a bit older. At the patisserie, the employee didn't understand me, even though I ordered clearly and made it clear again with hand signals. The tart my daughter ate could easily have been hammered in with a nail. The chocolate cake was pure mush where you couldn't really define what you were eating. It's a shame, we would have been very happy to have something nice and sweet after a long hike. The price ratio is not right at all. I will come back to see if anything has changed. I can't say anything about the warm dishes and non-open drinks.

After purchasing Amaretti we realized that on the package the sale date had passed which is not correct, the same thing happened 2 months ago for relatives, these people have no respect for the consumer.

Poor desserts. Hard dough full of sugar, very low quality ingredients, things made without love and even expensive. First time and never again.

Very unpleasant staff, like a feeling of disturbing them. The “food” menu was an old piece of scribbled cardboard without any price, the placemats were in pitiful condition and the value for money was absurd. Buying a sandwich at the supermarket will always be better.

If there were 0 I would put it, I bought the Carnival tortelli... I made a terrible impression. I was invited to lunch and I stopped to buy the tortelli, they were greasy, dry and old, tasteless. Never again!!!! Not recommended!

Bad waiter, great position. The bakery offers simple foods or sandwiches during the weekend. The waiter that served us made many mistakes in our orders, let us wait a long time for everything even though there were just few customers (corona). Sandwiches were good.

Nice place. Good, but a little disappointed by the portions... at two different times I had the piadina, there was only a very thin layer of ham (you could practically not taste it) and a huge quantity of lettuce and tomatoes "for filling".

Very nice location, in the middle of Bellinzona! We sat on the square and enjoyed the sun. But we waited 40 minutes and then almost cold noodles were served. That was a little disappointing.

The tables in Piazza Colleggiata allow you to breathe in the city life of the village. On Saturdays there is the market, having lunch surrounded by the stalls is a magical moment.

Poor service (we had to ask two times for beers, they charged for beers we did not receive), fly in the vinegar, empty pepper recipient, the waiter forgot to bring the check and we had to wait.

Nice location. Unfortunately, the pizzas were ... horrible. The charged prices for the drinks were doubled. After pointing that out, they apologized, corrected the bill, and gave some nice sweets.

The pizza was likely frozen and tasteless. A shame to serve it in such a scenic square. Considering that it is served by a bakery opened in 1888. It seems to me that the true poor rating are being deleted.

Pizza wasn't good at all, could be a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Location, prizes and service are acceptable.

Deplorable service we wanted to order a draft beer but the waiter explained to us that there were only bottled beers charged at 5 Frs while 2 minutes later the Ticino at the table next to us were able to order draft beers. Avoid if you are a tourist and not from the area
